I agree to a certain extent, but then what's the end game? - ie, what are we going to do with all those visitors that hard fought seo efforts bring in? - ipodwheels, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I guess it is because finding a person who uses a site comes first than making it usable. There are literally millions of sites out there, making the options of what to use limitless. It is when people start really using the site that it's ease of use comes into play more.
I can still remember Digg at it's early stages. Now if you look at it it has become a very usable site ( the fact seconded by the other sites copying it's style). That would all be farce if it has no visitors...
That's just an opinion though. - OnlyTeej, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Agreed on all points but one: Your SEO or advertising agency or marketing company may not be checking for this stuff, nor are they responsible for doing so.
If an agency or company is producing the site, they are MOST CERTAINLY responsible for usability and checking that they've followed through on all points...before the client ever proofs/tests it themselves.
