- protip, on 07/01/2009, -2/+444All that work and his email address is "lunyboy@yahoo.com"? That's a great way to describe oneself when trying to get hired.
- dazparkour, on 07/01/2009, -7/+272I get to hire and fire.
I would not hire on this alone - but it's definitely creative enough for me to want to give them an interview. - jggube, on 07/01/2009, -3/+235That's a very unique resume. I think this works for the employee because the type of employer that would respond positively to this is probably open, creative, and recognizes ingenuity and it would turn off the old-school folks.

You have a problem with authority, Mr. Anderson. You believe you are special, that somehow the rules do not apply to you.
</MatrixQuote> - 471776, on 07/01/2009, -4/+179And it's all ruined by the email address "lunyboy@yahoo.com".
- elitedw, on 07/01/2009, -3/+143Time with girlfriend: does not compute.
____________/\________
...........................\ - some girl said hi to you - cryonix, on 07/01/2009, -3/+122I usually get giddy around that time, Excited to go home.... aww who am I kidding, I don't have a job.
- CravenTwain, on 07/01/2009, -0/+99Yeah - I'm pretty sure he's not interested in stacking shelves at Piggly Wiggly.
- madeingermany, on 07/01/2009, -3/+90If you think you can be funny at our company around 5PM, forget it!
- glennrules, on 07/01/2009, -0/+81Now he just needs to learn to spell 'expenditure'
- Sogui, on 07/01/2009, -4/+77What a great way to get a resume thrown out by someone who doesn't want to spend 5 minutes figuring out a document that can be traditionally scanned in under 30 seconds.
- reddoggie, on 07/01/2009, -1/+71Agreed. The field(s) in which this guy is looking for a job requires a more professional email address. Using 'lunyboy' makes his web/marketing knowledge appear weak.
- Ascus, on 07/01/2009, -0/+56Bank CEO material, definitely
- G8kpr, on 07/01/2009, -0/+52I never understood why people who try to act professional have yahoo or hotmail addresses. I used to do business cards, and you'd be surprised at people like lawyers who have "yomomma@hotmail.com" or other weird or personal email addresses.
- sameer768, on 07/01/2009, -2/+53thinking you were someone else
- elitedw, on 07/01/2009, -1/+50its all fun and games until some dick adds you to a spam mailing list.
- diggcommentguy, on 07/01/2009, -0/+46phone number + digg submission?
- wild, on 07/01/2009, -2/+48[designers fall into IT.]
You have to be ***** kidding me. - my10cent, on 07/01/2009, -0/+42hey my email is smoothcriminal@yahoo.com and I got hired at a bank with that once.
- sh0rtbus, on 07/01/2009, -2/+31and it only took him 8 years to graduate...
- AussieVesti, on 07/01/2009, -0/+29"You failed to spell 'expenditure" correctly. Unfortunately, you did not get the job. Better luck next time."
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -0/+29Most inappropriate use of a meme I've seen in a couple of days.
- mmd1080, on 07/01/2009, -0/+29My favorite part is how if you visit his website, the first post is about his excitement over this resume making it big on Digg in February.
- lunyboy, on 07/01/2009, -0/+27Changed the number. Close one.
- lunyboy, on 07/01/2009, -2/+27My wife actually. Thanks!
- covertbadger, on 07/01/2009, -2/+26I think the skill-set graph is quite readable actually. The intake and output thing is unfunny and a waste of space, though. A clever visualisation of links to his portfolio would be better there.
- theaceoface, on 07/01/2009, -12/+35Only 6 hours of sleep a night? Thats pretty unhealthy
- RyomaNagare, on 07/01/2009, -6/+29I was just in need of a douchebag, this looks just what I needed.
- WoollyMittens, on 07/01/2009, -5/+27You don't want to work for lazy bastards anyway.
- yourfavweapn, on 07/01/2009, -0/+20It's called Gotham just to clarify
http://www.typography.com/fonts/font_overview.php? ... - solid12345, on 07/01/2009, -0/+20Especially since you can snag a domain and a email address for as little as 10 bucks nowadays.
- eanbowman, on 07/01/2009, -0/+19... said my highschool computer science teacher. :|
- G8kpr, on 07/01/2009, -0/+18It is.. but thats all I get.. on a good night =(
- JonHs, on 07/01/2009, -1/+19Actually, they looked through you and waved at the homeless guy behind you.
- miggyb, on 07/01/2009, -4/+21Bottom two graphs need to be 2D-fied, though. They're useless as-is, since you can't really tell the height of data along the y axis.
Or maybe I'm just being pedantic and I'm going to get voted down for ruining all the fun. - imedia1111, on 07/01/2009, -3/+20as someone that hires people, i would hire on the spot
- dizavin, on 07/01/2009, -0/+17"designers fall into IT."
wow. that's funny because where I've worked the designers usually fell into the art or marketing departments.
just because you USE a computer doesn't mean that you belong in IT. - rabidgoose, on 07/01/2009, -1/+17I call repeats - http://digg.com/arts_culture/How_an_infographics_d ... - February called, it wants its free advertising back.
Also, English doesn't seem to be this guy's first language. Aside from the already-noted "expendature", there are other errors in the copy. His website is also littered with typo's. Spend a little less time on your mac and a bit more time thinking about the implications of the phrase "all form, no substance." - 1uk34dd0, on 07/01/2009, -0/+14Nice design work but I'd use it as an additional page rather than my full resume. It doesn't really convey enough information on what he's achieved or anything like that.
- lunyboy, on 07/01/2009, -1/+15Thanks! When can I start!
- AgentVladimir, on 07/01/2009, -0/+14I wondered how far I'd have to scroll down before someone noticed. Further than I expected.
- dnasty27, on 07/01/2009, -0/+14Are you trying to say it's been on Digg before? *gasp*
- Shinobi326, on 07/01/2009, -1/+15I think those lines are famous enough (at least with the DIGG crowd) that you didn't need the tags.
- doctechnical, on 07/01/2009, -1/+14I remember when I first used ChartMaster.
- geesamba, on 07/01/2009, -1/+14I would certainly give an interview. Mostly to test my hypothesis of what type of person would be behind this. I'd ask them about the process for creating the resume. I already have the finished product, so I'd be curious to see how they went about designing it. I'd also ask what they wanted to add to it but couldn't because of space reasons, etc.
If those answers were intelligent and a meaningful dialogue was had, then I would also hire on the spot. - PixelMagic, on 07/01/2009, -0/+13It's the font he deserved, but not the one he needs right now.
- RyomaNagare, on 07/01/2009, -0/+13Dude you are the most awesome douche-bag I've ever used. thanks, Thumbs-up A+++ Will douche again.
- tomarocco, on 07/01/2009, -1/+14Hello,
I am the hiring manager and I happen to be color blind. Is this some kind of sick joke?
Sincerely,
Not Interested - lunyboy, on 07/01/2009, -0/+13Wow, this was just a proof of concept, never to be a serious resume.
There is no real data represented, but most people don't notice.
Oh, and English IS my first language, and I don't typically work on a mac.
I know there are typos, thanks for noticing. :)
Also, I typically use this e-mail because it is expeditious, I am not trying to impress anyone with it. - yofred, on 07/01/2009, -0/+12Demonstrates the power of good infographics. Props to all the hard-working designers out there that make communication effective through graphical representations. It's not an easy thing to accomplish, just look at 99% of your local billboards.
