- smackhero, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2yea, making good icons is quite a bit harder that one would seem to think. i've messed around with creating favicons and desktop icons using microangelo, but i've had a hard time getting good results even though i consider myself a decent artist. good icon design is something that i've really learned to appreciate a lot more. it's definitely not simply just taking a larger image and shrinking it down.

- invazngirl, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2the real challenge of making a good favicon is making it look good in front of any color. digg's work. but a lot of those just have a small logo in front of a white background or they're not aliased correctly. if your logo was designed correctly, that's a simple task.
