Here you go my friend. - yaddayaddayoda, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Why not just hand someone a $5 bill? It's cheaper and more memorable.
- bryceman111, on 08/08/2008, -1/+2I am kind of hoping that instantrimjob.com is a real site, but I am not trying it out...

- WELLDOITLIVE, on 08/07/2008, -3/+10No I don't, and stop calling me Shirley!
- diggmaddy, on 08/08/2008, -4/+1Meh! All these cards are lame. Joker has the best business card, EVER!
- haikuFU, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1I used to work for Duffy. Those metal business cards were great for cutting open boxes. A small box of them weighed about 5 pounds. They came as just the metal pieces, and then we had to take a pack of stickers that had our info on them, and put them on each card manually. I still have a few of them floating around. No idea if they are still using them, it's been 10 years.

- gunner08, on 08/07/2008, -11/+4Some great ideas in there.
- upick, on 08/07/2008, -8/+4awesome designs some of the most creative looking works I've seen. Although some of them are in the best business card designs books I have.
- doctechnical, on 08/07/2008, -1/+1There are books on business card design? Let me guess, it looks like a business card, am I right?
- TextNdata, on 08/07/2008, -7/+2Nice collection!
- pxmm, on 08/07/2008, -2/+27These are all really innovative ways of making you remember the person, but I'm sure there's a danger of people forgetting that they ARE a business card with them being so far removed from convention. Also, Patrick Bateman would KILL you for having the idea for these before him....
- locamama, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2I agree that some might accidentally be thrown in the trash because they don't look enough like a traditional business card. They are still very creative.
- haxderek, on 08/07/2008, -0/+6Don't just stare at it, eat it!
- ozid, on 08/08/2008, -0/+11what color is that?
they call it 'bone'. - twertyto, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Little disappointed to see a Bateman reference in fifth post down....only reason I came to this section.
- zorflax, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Oh Pat he, always takes things so seriously. (not a ***** joker reference) (don't even try)
- DrShalafi, on 08/08/2008, -1/+1http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=923xrzsb3hI
- ycohain, on 08/07/2008, -3/+11It seems like every few weeks another post about business card designs shows up, yet I still seem to digg each new post.
- kwasmosis, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2Half of these are the same busienss cards as posted before though.
I mean they are really great designs but I've seen most of them already, twice.
- kwasmosis, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2Half of these are the same busienss cards as posted before though.
- zosoIV, on 08/07/2008, -3/+164Digg needs a creative business card design section.
- stackered, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4Seriously... there is a completely different site with 20+ new business cards every ***** week. Its more annoying than using XKCD to tell which day of the week it is.
- digitaldivinci, on 08/07/2008, -0/+4Even getting something as simple as Moo Business cards are something that help you stand out. I picked up some when I signed up for Flickr and they look really sharp.
- juliohm, on 08/07/2008, -6/+4I'm just glad I'm not in the type of business where you are actually judged by how childish or silly your business cards are.
- jorichter, on 08/07/2008, -7/+2Some of these are really cool. If someone gave me one of these, I would buy anything they are selling.
Very impressive. - Mooky555, on 08/07/2008, -9/+1Dugg for iPhone
- 1337Dundee, on 08/07/2008, -8/+1you know you're pretentious when........
- rynTAU, on 08/07/2008, -12/+61If it's not:
a) the thickness of normal business cards
b) one piece
c) normal business card size
d) rigid (cloth, seriously?)
then it's a waste of time, people are more likely to throw them away. That rules out about half of these. Formally, the like nice.. but functionally they suck.- jorichter, on 08/07/2008, -1/+22I disagree. I think that people are more likely to keep a really interesting/creative business card over a plain one. Or at least it will be one that says in their mind.
Obviously it depends on who you are targeting, but I do think the majority of people would prefer an interesting card. - Lythium, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2I dig the peanut card... Double-benefit of being able to get a quick snack and toss out the useless crap on the shell.
- rynTAU, on 08/07/2008, -0/+9I'm all for creativity. Punch holes in it, make it out of metal, transparent plastics are all cool techniques.. Hell, i've even seen a sweet one that burned a hole through, leaving scorch marks against a white background. But if i meet you in the street and you give me something i can't put in my wallet like a peanut, it's probably not lasting very long.
Form follows function.. the modernists had it right.. :) - serif69, on 08/07/2008, -2/+7Being in a creative field, I don't want to network with someone who thinks my non-traditional card should go in the bin because it doesn't follow "the rules".
- prophetpimp, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2We you are in Advertising or management then innovation like this matters because it really allows yourself to have a good first impression.
- rynTAU, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2Not to keep harping on this, but I'm in the creative field too. Breaking "the rules" just for the sake of breaking the rules is lame. It's like building a house with no roof. There might be some cool theory as to why you had to do it that way, but if its not functional, try again..
- graeh, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2I disagree. It depends on the context.
Some business cards need to perform a primarily utilitarian task, and exist in a conservative space where traditional form and design is most appropriate.
Some are used for breaking through to grab attention for networking, sales, marketing etc.
As with most creative - its domain and context inform what's appropriate and what's not.
I've seen first hand how a business card 1/2 the height but the same width as traditional measurements has become a talking point and left an impression which was good for the company on the card. It's function was to be noticed, create a talking point, and stay noticed; rather than suck, functionally it rocked. - elveis, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2If I give you a stack of 20 business cards, 19 "normal" ones, and one 3 dimensional folded design that has AVN.com printed on it, have you to quickly scan through them and then ask you ten minutes later which one you remember, what do you think the answer will be?
- jorichter, on 08/07/2008, -1/+22I disagree. I think that people are more likely to keep a really interesting/creative business card over a plain one. Or at least it will be one that says in their mind.
- Scriabin, on 08/07/2008, -2/+33I once saw a creative business card. It was for an abortion clinic, and was printed on a broken condom.
- PeninsulaBoy217, on 08/08/2008, -1/+1Like broken in the business card factory on purpose or broken broken. :P
- roastedbagel, on 08/07/2008, -1/+61Wow, I'm not on Digg everyday, and yet I've seen this probably 5 times in the past year. Super.
- Mizzike, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3I was about to say the same thing, but then I clicked the link and it turns out these are different from the last batch... so I decided not to bury, even though the URL has a 2 in it. (The other submission got 5 diggs and was for a different site, so this one wasn't a dupe of that one.)
- cledford, on 08/07/2008, -5/+2old.
- heavenprint, on 08/07/2008, -3/+62 GB usb memory stick is the best business card I've ever received. Fits right in your wallet and stays there!
- LooterMcBeer, on 08/07/2008, -5/+3people use business cards? I thought thats what Vcards were for now
- gametavern, on 08/07/2008, -3/+1won't load... luck for me, I've seen this on digg 5 times.

- ChstrCopperpot, on 08/07/2008, -0/+5I'd be a little annoyed if i got handed a couple peanuts to put in my wallet.
- xptoast, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1What if you were hungry?
- Insomniac33, on 08/07/2008, -0/+34Impressive, very nice.

- twertyto, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1There was one further up...sort of.
- thaitan, on 08/07/2008, -1/+68Let's see Paul Allen's card.
Look at that subtle off-white coloring.
The tasteful thickness of it.
Oh, my God. It even has a watermark.- Mike668, on 08/07/2008, -0/+8I was wondering how many comments there would be before someone made this reference.
- publicproperty, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4best quote ever.
- nomad3d, on 08/07/2008, -3/+1Buried as OFN...
- YancyFryJr, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0I think I would choke someone that handed me a peanut as their business card.
- xptoast, on 08/08/2008, -1/+1"I think I would choke on the peanut if they handed it to me as a business card."

- georgeketigian, on 08/07/2008, -5/+14They forgot Kevin Mitnick's card, which is one of the most creative I've seen:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/ranh/106709219/- japanesepagoda, on 08/08/2008, -1/+210 comments up from this one, is the same link.
- dirtvoyles, on 08/07/2008, -0/+4FFS. How many times can this get posted and still make it to the front page?
- Chuckanut, on 08/07/2008, -1/+4Or:
24 Creative Business Email Addresses That Just Got Added to Spam Lists Around the World - edstittle, on 08/07/2008, -2/+5I'm normally not one to complain about things being repeated on digg but seriously, enough of these stupid business card design submitions. Once you've seen a few you've seen them all. Just boring.
- snike, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0Though these are cool, the story has been done. Burried
- freedomhater, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1cool, impractical and very expensive.
- HomelessBrian, on 08/07/2008, -1/+3Here are a TON of awesome business cards in one set on flickr.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/dailypoetics/sets/720 ... - Splitter402, on 08/07/2008, -0/+11Do you like Huey Lewis and the News?
- Ramenhood, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1If there's a lock-picking card I will be mad.
- sisko2k5, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1I have seen the lock picking card....BUT how long will the peanut card last? I mean if you eat it the info is gone, and if you save it...well...
- OrigonalArch, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1Dugg for the Mankato, MN card.
- marcoponce, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2I might have to JACK me some designs :P
- robrandtoul, on 08/07/2008, -1/+4More cool business cards. http://www.plasmadesign.co.uk/plasticbusinesscards ... and http://www.plasmadesign.co.uk/metalbusinesscards.h ... (as demonstrated by Woz a few times).
- vinibinini, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1You know the world isn't going to end when there's another Business card post on Digg.
Nice try LHC - zippe, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1dugg for the peanuts.
- Whitey07, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1Digg needs a creative section, to be fair...
I've seen this a few times, but still worth a look in! - mGARANDEUR1, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1The only problem with the peanut cards is that the customers will eat them and throw the shells away.
- pepemt, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2WHERE do people get these printed? I've been trying to find somewhere to print my cards on cork and can only find a place in Italy...
- xptoast, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Try the link someone posted above:
http://www.plasmadesign.co.uk/metalbusinesscards.h ...
Otherwise you could get someone to make you a custom cutter and just stamp them out of cork sheets yourself. Too bad I don't have that cnc mill yet or I would make one up just for kicks. - feliks2, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Probably nowhere, unless you work at a design agency of some sort or attend an art school.
- xptoast, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Try the link someone posted above:
- LouieNet, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1Digg for link to source: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dailypoetics/sets/720 ...
- Chezowan, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1Good one i Saw, a Dentist with dental floss inside of the card, fit into wallet easily too
