- SwissCamel, on 10/11/2007, -9/+27A matter of etiquette here, I was going to have my business card read:
Abdul Annuishal
Convicted Rapist
But my friend insists that simply 'Rapist' fits better and makes for a snappier, better business card, whilst I maintain that convicted is evidence of my 'rapist' claim, in that it is recognized by the police that I have in fact committed many terrible crimes. What does the digg community think? - samuelcotterall, on 10/11/2007, -2/+20This guy should probably have checked his URL before he sent it to the printers.
I'm not familiar with the "ww." prefix. - rasterbator, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19Based on the evidence, i.e. your portfolio, I have a better solution:
1. Find business card style or designer whose work you really like (this step EXCLUDES YOU)
2. Hire them to design your card and give them some creative freedom and a decent budget
3. Enjoy the accolades from your peers, competitors and friends for making the decision to have the job done by a professional - TheZetetic, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16Insert obligatory "American Psycho" dialogue pertaining to business cards...
- robrandtoul, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9These guys are great....

Please post pics - jester30188, on 10/11/2007, -12/+18is that a gram ? - New card.
What do you think ?
Whoa-ho. Very nice.
Look at that. Picked them up from the printer's yesterday.
Good coloring. That's bone.
And the lettering is something called Silian Rail.
It's very cool, Bateman, but that's nothing. Look at this.
That is really nice.
Eggshell with Romalian type. What do you think ?
Nice.
Jesus. That is really super. How'da nitwit like you get so tasteful?
I can't believe that Bryce...
prefers Van Patten's card to mine.
But wait. You ain't seen nothin' yet.
Raised lettering, pale nimbus... white.
Impressive. Very nice.
Hmm.
Let's see Paul Allen's card.
Look at that subtle off-white coloring.
The tasteful thickness of it.
Oh, my God. It even has a watermark.
Is something wrong, Patrick ?

- blackbelt, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7Less is More, the principle was applied to the perfection in this case, for my taste... very well done, congratulations
- hadimirza, on 03/26/2008, -1/+4i hope you get perma banned
- camkerr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3man, if I put a word cloud on my business cards, my friends would laugh at me.
- quotato, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2The back of the subject webpage business card with cloud tags is very powerful to me.
Yet, would some clients even know what this means? - kasted, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5web 2.0 irl
- braineater2448, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Am I the only one that thinks business card stories are getting pretty old? I mean, the first time I saw one, it was awesome. But there is one of these stories every couple weeks. Come on now. Dugg down for being lame.
PS: Talk about shameless self promotion abduzeedo - Firehed, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Vistaprints was the company that infected one of my domains with spam. Not to mention that they spelled my name wrong on the card, which weren't that high quality to begin with.
- fatdog789, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Now Ron Paul is spamming us. Wow, that's a guy I really want to vote for!
- turpenine, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3get new friends?
- AlfaWolph, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2OMG someone is actually digging the guy that posted the dialogue down. It's the best scene of the film! What's wrong with you people! :)
- mmmark, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Who would give their business to a graphic designer with a typo on their OWN business card? Sheesh...
- hiroshima, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Nice card, it's a little bit too web 2.0 though....
- kristinpa, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3The card looks very light and unobtrusive. Its very important. So, perfect work, Zee ))
- Supurcell, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1I just recently became an Analyst/Therapist, but, because of my limited funds, I could only afford so many letters on my business card. So Analyst/Therapist became AnalRapist. Since I got that card, business has been booming. People will pay good money for a session with a good AnalRapist.

And then later on what he does to the guy with the better card - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-qRWQ4Uo08&mode=related&search= - zarro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Design is great but the idea of a business card is to get your contact info into the hands of potential clients. The better the design the harder it makes it to throw-a-way. I use a site called http://www.superlabels.com for business cards, from simple basic cards to whatever you can upload their online creation system is pretty good.
- skinturtle, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Thanks for the news topic. I work as a designer and it's good to have as much inspiration to my disposal as possible.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2So let me get this straight...
You submit your own stories, and then you create a bunch of fake accounts to digg yourself up... And then you pretend like they are unrelated? - eirura, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Ooooh, I like the design. Definitely an inspiration. Nice work.
- devost, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0+1 on plasma design. I've used them for plastic and metal business card designs and they are fantastic.
- sosudaniel, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1I agree, I wondered where I could order these
- combatcupcake, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Does anyone know a good site to order business cards from? I want decent stock, full color, preferably glossy, and most importantly knows how to get the color right.
I was using Overnightprints.com but their ability to color match is nonexistant, even though their prices are great. - prestontek, on 10/11/2007, -0/+04Over is great but they still gang jobs like overnightprints... hard to get color correct when you get your stuff printed with 50 other peoples at the same time.
Could always look local if you don't mind paying twice as much and then you'll be sure your color is right. - indie1982, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I hope they've already gone to print, the web address on it is ww.zee.com.br
I thought they actually had a "ww" subdomain but it was just openDNS correcting the spelling, there's no answer for ww, only www ;) - satyamls, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1the best site i have seen
- cgruber, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Sweet now you can pay a lot of money to have someone throw it away,
- alan6688, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I like http://www.123print.com to get my business cards designed online by myself. The quality of their business card printing is also very good. They're fast, inexpensive. Lots of business card templates to choose from.
- DebbieSims, on 10/07/2009, -0/+0The best place to go to make custom, quality, most cost-efficient, business cards is http://www.printsmadeeasy.com. They specialize in designing custom postcards, business cards, stationery, labels, brochures, invitations, envelopes, flyers, greeting cards, letterhead, pens, & labels.
- Visitenkarten, on 05/21/2008, -0/+0Great. some very useful links. Thanks for sharing.
- mastahack, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1I prefer http://www.printpelican.com for my buissiness cards and all of my printing, they're fast, reliable, cheap and have there own templates that help you out. Also there is always someone waiting on customer service if you need anything. I highly recomend you check it out.
- Dotcommer, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2http://www.vistaprints.com
I love this site for business cards. It allows me as an artist to create my own card with a photoshop or AI template, and the prices are nice and cheap. Those who don't want to make their own logo, they have tons of combinations using their stock stuff, plus, you can get free stacks of business cards from them. - rameshpreddy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Why is there a script running - be careful guys - this web site seems to have a "trojan" running....

Personaly i dont really think its that special . . .
Other than a few *slightly* interesting type choises . . .
Witch you didnt follow on with on the back side of the card . . .
Its pretty uniform and similar to many other cards in the market at the moment . . . - TerriSchiavo, on 10/11/2007, -7/+4Look at that subtle off-white coloring... the tasteful thickness of it.
Oh My God, it even has a watermark - pesa, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1very good work!!
