- phoenixrip, on 10/10/2007, -2/+272nd appearance of PSDTUTS on digg within a week...
They'll be getting the dreaded 'click fraud' email from adsense very soon.
Great tutorial though. - LowROI, on 11/01/2007, -1/+15I'm ignorant to online adverts, but wouldn't they be able to say "our site was on digg, hence the Xthousand hits"? I just don't see how they can call this fraud, when it's legit traffic.
- peleken, on 11/01/2007, -8/+22In old country we used to use photoshop with a mouse. None of this Wacom garbage. And we used to make brown scrolly designs with compasses. None of this making of phony naked pictures of Jessica Alba.
- DeFex, on 10/10/2007, -5/+17diggs are not visits.
- RandomGuySteve, on 11/01/2007, -0/+7Because they're graphic guys, not web designers.
- Hutch34, on 10/21/2007, -0/+7You ruined it rkiga.
- flashden, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Hey guys, sorry about the site going down, the hosting has some decent grunt, but that tutorial had 33 steps all with some big images, I suppose it was a little too much to handle :-( Sad times
- Hollic, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Back in my day we had to swim through pools of primordial soup and wag our tadpole-like tails for communication.

http://duggmirror.com/design/Creating_a_Stunning_Old_World_Look_in_Photoshop/ - shreela, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Why don't graphics tutorials start off with a preview of the graphic so we can decide if we even want to view the actual tutorial without having to load every single steps screenshot? I would think it would cut down on the digg effect, and be less expensive on bandwidth.
- starsky51, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8Back in my day you had to scratch your pictures onto the wall of a cave with sharp flint rocks and then colour them in with the blood from the wounds on your hand. You never saw us complaining.
- Tippis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Ahh... HDR... the most inappropriately named fad ever.
Can't wait for HDPhoto to gain some acceptance so we can see some *real* HDR again. - badoli, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Back in the old days we had a brush and a color and that was it. Tell that to the young people and they won't belive ya'...
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3You might want to research Art Deco first.
- mattcoady, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Its all related. More diggs means, more popularity. More popularity means more visitors.
- javascriptdude, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Heres the .psd for the project
http://collistaeed.com/Sample_Compass.zip - mikeh00, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Photography is okay on that site but that song is incredible!
- stklaw, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3See? I'm doing such a good job.
- OwdenBowden, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Just checked out the website that this comes from and it is very well done. Great post.

- digginamish, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Nice job.
But, in the future, please use thumbnails and/or multiple pages; I was trying to view the page at work and gave up after 10 minutes (I opened the pictures individually after stopping the page). - eliburford, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1But there actually is two preview images at the top of the page... did the owner update the page after viewing your comment?
- chaparyan, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2RandomGuySteve: touche
- dig412, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1has anyone got a mirror of the finished product?
- frsrblch, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1All the mirrors seem to be down... and duggmirror only loads partial images.... =/
- vladin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Dammit, Jim, I'm a Doctor, not a graphic designer.
- hlcno, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2eh is this really that great?
- SvenGeiss, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2damn. 4 mirror all down
- kromagnon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1There should be some sort of server/bandwidth requirement to be able to put the "digg it" button on your web page.
- JoshStix, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Dugg for Arsenal. 3-1 to the Gooners!!!

- atx85, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Looks great! Definitely learned a few things...
- lazyslacker, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0This sort of thing can probably be accomplished a little more easily in Adobe Fireworks.
- rkiga, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2Back in the days when i was young i'm not a kid anymore,
but somedays i sit and wish i was a kid again - cobrapeed, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1TTIWWOP
- i4mt3hwin, on 10/10/2007, -5/+3I'm to stunned to open photoshop.
- tim507, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1noaw!
- Takuro, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1This site went down too quickly for it to be cached on DuggMirror.
I truly think this ranks among one fastest sites to be overtaken by the "digg effect." - bigpun, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1Down already....PSDTuts just migrated to wordpress didn't they? Mirror anyone?
- mtnhippy, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1"I have numerous leather-bound books, my apartment smells of rich mahogany, and all my photographs all have a 'stunning old-world look'."
- stklaw, on 10/13/2007, -7/+3Let me show you how to get buried.
