- treyd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+127I don't think UPS will ever come out of beta.
- empirikal, on 10/12/2007, -3/+99A little older and has more logos from the original
http://digg.com/design/Famous_Logos_redone_in_Web_2_0_Format - Philoushka, on 10/12/2007, -7/+72Cisco actually DID go web2.0 ! http://www.cisco.com/
- geuisteses, on 10/12/2007, -0/+47QUAKR 2.Oats rocks my world. hah!
- dfnk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32Gloss, gradients, and glass, oh my!
- clos, on 10/12/2007, -2/+27Most of them look pretty good, except the FedEx logo really sticks out to me because if you look at the original (http://www.jpcyr.com/uploaded_images/fedex-logo-735330.gif) you'll notice that the "E" and the "X" make an arrow, which is quite ingenious because most people don't even realize its there. But once you see the arrow its all you'll be able to look at when you see the logo, so this new logo looks quite odd to me.
- rauz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+24Very nice job...the only thing that bugs me is that the artist lost the hidden arrow in the FedEx logo.

http://flickr.com/search/?q=yay2dot0logoparody - shadus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20The really sad thing is... even though those are supposed to examples of bad design some look better than the originals. :o/
- david76, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Talk about totally ruining the FedEx logo.
- UnglueD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16A pink john deere? I don't think so.
- pufuwozu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17There's a house there instead.
- kenvibe, on 10/12/2007, -4/+18I cant believe Hitler 2.0 didn't make the list!
http://enthree.com/files/random/web2logos/hitlr.jpg - jdb252, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13UPS' logo looks like a holograph.
- ij00mini, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13A lot do... a lot don't. I don't think BBC would compromise their name for some shading.
Albeit, I really like a lot of them. "Quaker 2.Oats" was especially clever. - M4cb0y, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10@clos
It makes a house now ;) - AMSRay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10"Quaker 2.0ats". The designer is brilliant.
- dreman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Gotta love those 2.0ughnuts!
- skyhighrockets, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Everyone and their mom has already stated that in comments above you.
- AtHomeBoy2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Ones I thought were outstanding and possibly usable:
Coca-Cola
Wal-Mart
BMW
PBS - hawk_eye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7The 3M logo rocks ... Mmm
too cool - mankyd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6The Quaker Oatmeal guy! He looks so happy. I love it.
Also, the UPS already did the beveled logo thing, much to the chagrin of designers everywhere who are in love with Paul Rand and his original logo for them. - rig0rmortis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7@ ntatonetti
Why do you have to redirect from your site to Visa's site? You are clearly looking for hits. The link he is redirecting to is:

http://www.yayhooray.com/thread/90661/yh-collab-redesign-famous-logos-in-web-2-0-format
I wish people would stop ripping ***** off and then not giving credit. - mtvkilledusall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5If you read the original thread that emperikal posted, these logos were made in jest. They are examples of bad design according to the designers who made them on the original forum posts.
- chadillac83, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5..... when did simplistic design with a touch of gloss become web 2.0?
I think we should use more buzzwords out of context! :D
What if Corporate World Logos went AJAX on Linux with Digg and the iPhone!? - kingyubba, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7when did AC/DC go corporate???
/i didn't get that memo! - KragTheDigger, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I love the 'beta' on UPS :)
~K - webguy2k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The Quaker Guy looks like a Mii...
- rauz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I know. But it's some kind of a bastardized double arrow now :)
- RyeBrye, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Seriously, what is with this rash of 6-month old dupes recently? (This article included)
- samdotorg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Digg me if you prefer the original Cisco logo
- Cimlite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Cisco is the only one I'd see as really plausible.
The rest does not feel serious enough to me. Even though some of them look great, like Harley Davidson or BMW for example. - mvanhorn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Am I the only one who thinks the PBR one is the sweetest?
- fba199, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i wonder how good pepsi beta would taste
- KyleMistry, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That Quaker Oats one made me laugh.
- shm0edawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you're a complete idiot...... the original thread that had these logos on them was making fun of web 2.0 and all of these images are a silent "***** you" to overdone, *****, glassy, "shiny table" crap.
n00b - unicornhunter, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3they're so....beautiful.
- ClaiE, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Cisco's logo in this version is a crap. The artist didn't understand what it represents.
I really like the Pfizr one.. and the same for Citi ^^ - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wow, you're so original and hip using moronic language.
- maestroh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3i love seeing the exact same design style over and over again, it can be applied to anything! fascinating.
/end sarcasm - kenvibe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Its been a slow news week for digg
- MadMan459, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Krispy Kreme 2.oughnuts.
Now would that be pronounced "Two-point-oh-nuts" or "Toe-nuts" ??
Toe-nuts would probably be adopted by the masses, despite the best efforts of KK HQ.
Pretty funny stuff all around though. - UltraNurd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3My oatmeal is almost out... I should upgrade to the 2.0ats, maybe?
- KyleMistry, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3That's pretty much what the design element of Web 2.0's been reduced to.
- Elranzer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2A lot of those look like OS X Dashboard widgets...
- Harri448, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Glad to see Famous Amos included.
- spyork, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yea, right....a John Deere logo without the trademark green color...I don't think so.
- cRaCKh0rN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I like the eBay make over. Subtle and an improvement in my opinion!
- Jowe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Beta jeans? Better hope those don't have any bugs.
