- toxicredm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"the balls are pozitioned in the special holes that allow air passing through the surface to the ventilation sistem inside, sistem that is sucking up all the bad smell and releases a nice parfume."
So, in other words, with this kitchen your balls won't stink. - PnPMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Don't forget the problem with storing your dishes in the dishwasher. If you store clean dishes in the dishwasher then what happens when half of its dirty and half clean? Waste water? Leave dirty/clean dishes on the table?
It's the sort of thing you need to use to see the problems - interesting though. - sooperdooper, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4He's Romanian. Which should explain references to the "owen."
- allanpat, on 10/12/2007, -6/+9looks like what would happen if Apple designed a kitchen. Very cool. Although the lawsuits should be fun when someone sits down at the 'table' to eat when the stove is on (or hasn't cooled down yet). I also imagine eating on top of a washing machine to be quite annoying. But still, very innovative concept.

Seriously, this thing looks like a 1950s concept kitchen. - moisie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3That's rubbish. It says that you actually store your dishes in the dishwasher. So either you're constantly cleaning stuff that isn't dirty in order to clean the dirty stuff or your storing dirty stuff until you've used everything up. Either way it's not practical. Plus, most people have more dishes and so on than can fit in the dishwasher.
- hipstershaun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't agree with the waisting space thing. If you are going to have a table to eat at (one of this things functions) then you have to walk around that as well. Only now you have all this other stuff in that same space.
- drall.kj, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3the stove is a induction stove
I don't think it will get hot unless there is metal sitting on it - dayquil, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5I don't see this as especially functional, nor do I see the point. I can't remember the last time I was in my kitchen and thought "gosh I wish there was nothing against the walls".
- tjl2015, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I'll give them credit for the design, it is creative and interesting. However, it presents a few problems. The first of which is the total integration. Now, when your dishwasher breaks, you have to replace your fridge and oven too! Wonderful..
Also, although you're saving space by cramming everything into a center island, you're wasting a lot of space because of the walking space you need around it. - hipstershaun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This would be great for a very small apartment...like mine. However, I don't see this being too great for a household of more than three. Just not enough capacity.

- Plastic3D, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's a very forced design for a batchelor who never uses the kitchen. There's no way you could make use of that center volume.
- andydumi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1i can see this being useful on a yacht. thats about it though.
- ionblue, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1its cool, but i think it'd be hard to match it with your kitchen
- hallocharles, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I remember seeing alot of these types of "kitchens of the future" in 50's era space age design, namely the kitchen in "The world of tomorrow" at Disney World. I totally agree that this would never catch on because it is not modular/easy to service. Japan has some incredible space-saving all-in-one designs, but I think here in the U.S. things like this just never seem to catch on. 2 cents inserted.

- knightblade2oo4, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3looks like that episode of the simpsons where their whole house is robotic.
- sunday, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Here are some other kitchen items.
http://www.plumbersurplus.com/Category.aspx?Cat=542 - MadSalad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So, if you store your dishes in the dish washer, are you storing dirty dishes with clean dishes, or are you washing dirty dishes with clean dishes (if you didn't use all the clean ones). It makes no sense!
- upsidedork, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So, when you're done cooking, you have to clean off the counter before you have any room to sit down and eat. Or you can stand.
- goldenbb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'll just take a stainless steel "airstream" toaster and be on my way, thanks.
- Starr227, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Does he not have spell check on his computer????
- h0kiez, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0That's what I came to the comments to find :). Anybody?
