- StepJoe, on 10/12/2007, -4/+15Fun.
I found 11 of the faces in last one (extremely observant), but only 5 horses in the earlier one.- rauz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+36It says "extremely observer" :)
- weijie90, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7That impossible circle really messed with my head for a moment.
- habitue, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14I am very observer? I am not sure, but I think there are only 5 horses.
- MadOtaku, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you win; I only got 9 faces.
- jon02129, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I see 13, maybe 14. Am I crazy?
- Azap, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5pshh i am extremely observer
- bndocksnt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I am evidently "extremely observer." This, not the obvious grammar errors, makes me doubt the absolute accuracy of this rating system. I am not extremely observer at all, I swear.
- kLacK, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Anyone know the name of the artist and painting for the first pic?
- chewyrunt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6i counted 47 faces but couldn't see anything in the horse pic
- Tredici, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I've been staring at the horse picture for 20 minutes! I can only find 5! Has anyone at all found 7?
- ReXorcist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14I think the website just confused everyone with that horses image.
Here's a larger version so you can quit straining your eyes:
http://www.bnr-art.com/doolitt/images/pintos.jpg
There's definitely only 5 horses; 4 adults and 1 colt.
I think this is the 7 horses illusion that it gets mixed up with on the net:
http://www.piffe.com/funimages/7horses.jpg
While I'm at it here's a better version of the forrest has eyes:
http://www.bnr-art.com/doolitt/images/tfhe.jpg
Now everyone can be extremely observer! - fluxion, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1i think it's pretty easy to find 11 faces when you know there's supposed to be 11 faces total. finding less just means you have a short attention span =P
and i found 6 horses, and cant for the life of me figure out where #7 is supposed to be.
edit: ahh, i guess there are 5. i thought i saw the hump of another - atlex2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1is the rock on the bottom right supposed to be a horse?
- chewyrunt, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1ok i think i got it now... 23 horses and counting... also found another 9 faces
- LordSpam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is it just me or don't you think extraordinary would be higher in rank than "above the average" or "very observer?"
- chewyrunt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yeah baby!!! got 217 horses, and 326 faces!!! and it's getting easier, not harder, to find more - will update again in 24 hrs
- thewhiterabbit, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3oic
- doublsh0t, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3what a psychedelic experience this was
- Rikushix, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7"There are 11 human faces in this picture. Can you find them all?
Normal people find 4 or 5 of them.
If you find 8 of them, you have an extraordinary sense of perception.
If you find 9 of them, you have a sense of perception above of the average.
If you find 10 of them, you are a very observer.
If you find 11 of them, you are an extremely observer!"
Wow, I want to be an extremely observer!- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23If you find 12, you are tripping.
- oslointhesummer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11i confirm this.
i am tripping, i see at least 14. - kernokerno, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1i found 10, im a little bit high on the clouds right now btw :)
- atlex2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2what about the people on the horses they have faces
11 around in the environment
and 2 on the people
13 faces - TPHigginbotham, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I count 12 faces (not including the horse riders) - http://thomashigginbotham.com/images/tfhe-solved.jpg
Does this mean I am extremelier observer? - gargantuan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3as some kind of throw back to our more primitave beginnings, Humans instinctivley look for faces in everything. Perhaps some predatory or defensive feature the hardwired into our brains. So while the artist may only have put 11 faces in there intentionaly, some people may see more, or they may see faces where other people don't.
- Jedi1138, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I count 13 faces in the forest.
- skoobisnaxs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12I have seen most of these years ago in FWD email form.
- purple, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The horse one is the only one I've never seen before, cool!
- andrewcool, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I found all 11 on the last one.
- doublsh0t, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1also the "can you see 4 people" one has 6 people really...maybe 7
- jsleno, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's true. I went back and looked. And I even think I found an 8th one too. There might even be more of them in there but I can't tell with that picture quality.
- doublsh0t, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yeah you're right, I found that eighth now
- stonedgeek, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8You owe me a new brain

- SNIa, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Do some crazy guerrilla style advertising in anal-retentive Boston and go to jail.
Viola, Food, Shelter and Clothing for next to nothing!
That article did not mention a thing about entertainment. Oh, right, masturbation is free.- superpotential, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Boston is hardly anal-retentive. if that incident had happened in NYC, it would have been much more anal.
i mean, geez, you have to go through so much crap to visit a student at Columbia or someone in an apartment at NY. and you have to deal with the anal NYPD. in Boston you're far more free. - nepawoods, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3@superpotential
"Boston is hardly anal-retentive. if that incident had happened in NYC, it would have been much more anal."
Wrong. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Boston_Mooninite_Scare#Response_in_other_cities

- eclipse75, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3if you like surrealism kind of like the children putting together the puzzle, check out Jacek Yerka's art. From Norway I believe? Also Beksinski is awesome, yet more dark toned matters.
http://www.imageraptor.com/cabernet/jyerka1.htm
http://www.twilightsite.com/Fantasy/Old/Beksinski/Beksinski.html- grees17, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dude! Beksinski is f'ed the ***** up!
- eclipse75, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1But brilliant. Noticed as one of the greatest contemporary Polish artists that lived.
- thesekeys, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wow thanks for pointing him out. incredible!
- grees17, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Column/Arch is the most trippy of all those pics
- ericnmu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1nice engrish in the "how many faces can you count" image.

- NobleArc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Dude. I'm totally an extremely observer.
- fearphage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3There are 12 human faces including the guy on the horse.
- atlacatl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No, there are more than 12 human faces. Include the cowboy too (it's one of those "think outside the forest" type of painting). Someone posted a solution, but didn't spot a couple of faces. Here are the faces so far: www.josesandoval.com/images/tfhe-solved_ii.jpg
Can someone viewing more than 14 add to this picture?
- atlacatl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No, there are more than 12 human faces. Include the cowboy too (it's one of those "think outside the forest" type of painting). Someone posted a solution, but didn't spot a couple of faces. Here are the faces so far: www.josesandoval.com/images/tfhe-solved_ii.jpg
- Phlag, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Does anyone know the name of the artist(s) who did the first two pictures?
- dotMH, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3(3 soldiers picture) Actually if you know anything about perspective you'd know that the soldiers are of different heights and the soldier farthest away is the tallest.
- nepawoods, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2yeah, by their logic, the moon is about as big as my thumb
- fluxion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1assuming the image was meant to be an orthographic projection of an actual scene. i dont that was it's intention, and that it in fact relies on perspective to trick you into making incorrect inferences about the objects in question
- Neorio, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0There was this magazine (or hard cover book, I don't remember) which had HEAPS of examples of puzzles and art like this. I remember it had a black cover and maybe a rainbow on the front, and the name of the book started with P. Does anyone know the book series I'm talking about?
I must have seen them about 20 years ago.- Washburnian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's a childrens book called "Imagine A Day" (and another called "Imagine a Night"), illustrated with paintings by Rob Gonsalves. Two of the paintings in that book feature on the site above. His stuff is pretty damn fine. Here's a link to another site with heaps of his stuff: http://www.sapergalleries.com/Gonsalves.html
- aidanm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Coles Funny Picture Book
- Washburnian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1oops
- MewTwo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I have to say, I hate it when people say, "...mess with your head."
- Dreamchaser, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This is quiet old? Seen couple of years back :-) !
- ThirdPrize, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Stuff like that gives surrealism a bad name.

- tratch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No man, it's not the art that's trippy. Perhaps it is the way we perceive it that is indeed trippy
- tratch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I should have just said "Yeah".
- alienSkull, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Mitch ftw!
