- mozzer77, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like it and will use it for some of my applications!
- Hrekum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is the best one I've seen... thanks!
- LazyBoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0cant save the schemes yest lame... but very nice tool.
- Mapou, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Excellent tool. Thanks much. Friendly grammar nazi advice: the proper spelling is complementary' and 'complement'. I digg it.
- ejde, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very slick. Better than most I've seen. Dugg and book'd.
- koko775, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Everyone who's complaining: suck it up and/or learn something about art. I've been looking for a color picker that supports calculating it based on color schemes. This thing is good. Even if you don't care, this isn't your site -- it's everyone's, and I for one believe this site to be useful. Dugg.
- pcgeek101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"man this one sucks. the previous ones are much better. also, bad interface."
Never doubt the human ability of complaining about something provided for free. Could you, perhaps, give a little insight as to why it "sucks"? - morningrise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sup steel.... long time no see..... I clicked on the link and was like.... this site looks awfully familiar :)
hope all is well in dolphin territory - pcgeek101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow thanks dude. I like this one a lot, and I've been looking for a better one recently. I appreciate the link very much =D
- shavs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hey kuzb - just because you can read it doesn't mean it's 'open source', it gives you no rights to do anything with it.
- short4lif2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love this. I am currently making a logo and this will be a lot of help!
- gloveny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can I just point out to all the brainless people that this isn't an APPLET. An Applet is made form JAVA whereas if you took the time to look at the code you will see that this chooser is made form HTML and Javascript. AND YES, this is a fantastic Colour Chooser. If only the link still worked.
Does anyone know where to get it because I cant seem to reach it.
Please email me at loudsphiers(AT)hotmail(DOT)com if you know - tehdolphin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hahah thanks kreigsy...
my site is o outdated... /sigh
the schemer problably wont be in the new version but I may just keep a direct link to the tool instead. Its help me kick start some painting schemes and such...its not perfect but sometiems its all that is needed. - ColdWind, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's fine. But support for schemes including black or/and white would be nice.
- kderby2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I actually like this one.
Dugg... - kriegs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow! my buddy chris' site is on digg. be sure to check out his amazing art while checkin the color generator.
- Kashey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Another one. Well any good web designer shell know color schemes already.
- brucebeh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0WOW!
VERY great find!!!
Dugg! - stark23x, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dugg. Very useful tool. Love the comments from the morons who don't understand color schemes. Nice to see Digg is still populated by 12 years olds.
- slhilbert, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I like it. I will be using it in the near future. Thanks for posting it!

http://www.getyourowntots.com - Sonic_Molson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Color generators usually suck, this one sucks even more than the average. I couldn't imagine trying to mix any of those colors together on a site, it's disgustingly horrible. Is is really that hard to come up with your own color scheme for a website?
- Raisin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0another one dude...no digg...
- gookie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0oh gawd, how many color picker and scheme helper does DIGG need?
- amihaic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0man this one sucks. the previous ones are much better. also, bad interface.
- molotov, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Umm.. if you need a colour scheme picker that simply picks out complementary colours for you... then WOW.
Here's a couple complementary colours:
Blue -> Orange
Yellow -> Purple
Green -> Red
These colours... of course they look good together, this is grade 4 art class here people. Just learn a couple complementary colours and you have no need for this little applet.
I find myself bashing stories quite a bit... it's just because I am a critical person. Please don't take it personally or consider this spam. My intent is to inform while being critical. - korteenea, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0It's fairly obvious what it's doing. You select a color, and it selects the color's inverse as well as several analogous colors. This is nothing I can't do in my head, and though they do technically work, the resulting schemes are far from compelling. No digg.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0This is going to be quite useful in the near future, dugg!
http://fyad.org/6cg9 - theMaxx, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0yeah, like you said: *ANOTHER* color picker applet
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0awesome, dugg!
http://fyad.org/6cgn - MikeEnIke, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0Congratulations the 600th this week.
