      I have a couple new Dell "UltraSharp 2007WFP" monitors. If I leave the same image up on them for a couple days, I'll see ghosts of that image for hours. Not sure if there's some threshold of time beyond which the ghosts would not disappear, but because of this issue I can't use a screensave like this. :-(
    • kbeeveer46, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I also get burn-in on my Viewsonic 17" LCD that's only a year and half old. When I minimize FF I can see the border of the browser on my screen for the entire day. Not until I turn the monitor off at night will it go away.

    but how were the widths of row elements chosen? They seem arbitrary.
    • OrlyonokEaglet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3OK I get it, you only have 1/2 of the total number of seconds/minutes/hours/days/months on the screen. So that's 30 spaces for seconds, 30 for minutes, 12 for hours, 3.5 for days, 15/15.5 for calendar days, 6 for months and only for years you have an arbitrary number of about 3.75 years on screen.

      I also noticed the hue of the background changes very slowly. I don't know how that's correlated to the clock though.
