- FiP0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+29That joke is getting old; It feels like a lot of people are trying to emulate the so called "most digged up comment" ('wow player has girlfriend ? Buried as inacurate').
Haha. 'twas funny the first time, now you're juste showing that you have no imagination. - zdiggler, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25How much per night? I rather spend money on buying more geeky stuff and stay in cheap hotel that have wireless or Ethernet jack.
- Dumbledorito, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19I travel a lot over the year, and I've noticed that the more expensive the room, the less likely it is you'll get free internet access. Go fig.
And speaking of hotels, are those run by the only people on the planet who will actually buy Zenith TVs? I never see them anywhere else... - assum09, on 10/12/2007, -3/+21only to get pr0n
oh wait i forgot about the internet
and they sometimes leave to go to conventions
dugged for awesomeness - cubedude6491, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5something tells me under a black light these sheets will be just fine
- CraigCarlyle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5When I was in Europe last summer, there was a small hotel chain called "High Tech Hotels." I stayed in one in Madrid.
It was very cool, LEDs everywhere and a modern look. Free Internet via WiFi or Ethernet Jacks. Two LCDs in each room.
It was cheap too, around $90 CDN a night. - robdon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4royal park hotel in tokyo.. there were two computers in our room and wifi was availiable as well, it was quite nice. also it had the most friendly service people ive ever dealt with in my world travels
- FiP0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3If that's what you're after, most hotels give access to pay per view movies of that.. hum.. "genre".
- pujolsthebeast, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2interactive...
- aristotle0dude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Most hotels in the cities of Canada have Ethernet or Wireless. All Ramada hotels I've stayed in while in Vancouver on business had fast "free" wireless through Fatport.
I found that some of the "fancy" hotel lacked internet in the rooms or charged extra as they usually cater to the executive business traveller with "people" tagging along to do all the paper work. - zdiggler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Will only classify as Geek Hotel if it got fast internet with no or little restrictions, little or no packet filtering, port blocking etc.
- inara23, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1who *wouldn't* want to sleep in these sheets?

- DeathBorn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They forgot about the Pod Hotel!
- ohmytodd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i stayed at the number one over this past weekend in New York... and it definitely deserves the award.
- Tremblor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What about the Hotel Pennsylvania where the 2600 conference has been held since 1994. Few things are geekier that hacking, and as far as a geeky hotel, the Penn has gotta be up there.
- russau, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This would make a good geek destination:

"A secret Eisenhower-era underground bunker, designed to house members of Congress and their staffs during [and after] nuclear attack...." - hattable, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I was readying the Wynn section
"(plus in poolside cabanas)"
and I swore it said cannabis. - error401, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Apple fanboi fest (mentioning Bose, +10 fanboi points): #1
Real geek decor, history and tools: #2
Lame. - TheBlackNinja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've been to Buenos Aires a lot of times, and I'm going back this summer. Damn if only I didn't have to visit family!
- cjwl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hotel @ MIT is not that geeky aside from some MIT trash decorating the lobby, just a typical sterile upscale hotel. Don't let the name fool you.
- noopan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0 A lot of love hotels in Japan have plasma screens, Internet access, game consoles, karaoke, DVD & VHS players, cable radio, microwaves, bar fridges, lighting controls into the bed, room-service that you order via the remote control, "fashion shopping" (dildo) vending machines, rainbow lit Jacuzzis with TVs and Washlette toilets.
Problem is that probably won't let you in solo. - Ithaxa, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3La Quinta, fast free highspeed wireless internet, nintendo 64 controller in every room, discovery channel and adult swim, + interactive porn movies
- ichhy, on 10/24/2008, -0/+0De Allured Greece budget hotels i jst found.
http://greece.hotelzbooking.com - Splicernyc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Forget about geek chic. Can I just have a hotel room where I don't have to worry about my neighbors hearing what my wife and I are up to?
- cheesylady, on 09/20/2008, -0/+0Here's a list of which hotels charge for internet: http://digg.com/travel_places/Should_hotels_charge ...
- tonich03, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I'd do the sex with no restraints if someone takes me to the SW hotel in Tunisia.
- cutlerite, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5Geek Hotel = Porn Access.
- zxof, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0hmm... looks very normal to me. I am definitely a geek then.
- drum2dadrum, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?
- benitojuarez, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2@FiP0
a case of "in soviet russia joke makes YOU old"? - CamperBob, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Silver Cloud Inn for the win. They give you lots of amenities for free, including net access, that cost $10/day or more at the fancier hotels.
I've never understood why the more you pay for a room, the more you're going to be nickeled-and-dimed to death by the hotel. You'd think it'd be the other way around... hotels should either charge Hilton-level room rates and provide free WiFi, or lure customers with cheap room rates and charge them for each square of toilet paper. - sdfghjkl, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0Wouldn't a geek hotel include a brothel?
- kcpwnsgman, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3Best Geek Hotel = HD Porn Access
- mandarin, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2ok the non-geek hotels....
Hotel Raddison in Toronto , cant remember the location but there was a convention center outside. There's no Wifi and the only internet connection is in the small lobby. Its in the middle of the city too hahaha. - krazykor, on 10/12/2007, -57/+13Buried as inaccurate; the article implies that geeks leave their mom's basement on occasion.
