In common speech have and of are pronounced very similarly especially when poor annunciation is present. If you read his sentence fast to someone, they will comprehend it just fine with out the grammatical error that you questioned.

or somthing.. - sembetu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7If you really need to create fonts, and you can't afford FontLab, try Font Forge. It is free, and it actually creates excellent fonts. In addition, this particular site seems a bit limited in scope. Remember, for a font to work well, it must be well hinted and kerned, those options are not really "point and shoot".

- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8What the description fails to mention is that this isn't simply a way to make your own font, but *bitmap* fonts. There's a big difference.
In addition, I'm very glad that this program doesn't allow a user to start making all manner of fonts. It takes time and effort to make one. You can't just dive into it otherwise you'll end up with a mess. Additionally, even when you've created a font, you then have to consider kerning and if you really want to go all out, non-standard characters and ligaments.
And, for those who are just looking for some nice fonts (as opposed to bitmap fonts, which are pretty useless for 90% of things) try dafont.com, it's the best font site out there and has a huge selection. - mattb5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I always loved this site: http://www.fontifier.com

The sites just gone crappy. It worked very well the last I'd seen it, but now... its dying. Unfortunately I couldn't get any of the fonts to actually WORK once downloaded.

The best little application for this was FastFont created by Paragraph International. Too bad they were acquired by Silicon Graphics in 1997 for their VRML application and the app was discontinued.
