- gkrat, on 07/24/2008, -6/+288As someone who is colorblind these were rather boring for me as there was two of everything.
but i get teh point and am digging because i'm sure it's interesting for losers who see correctly. - koenigje, on 07/25/2008, -6/+265Poor colour blind bastards.........all they can see is "The requested URL could not be retrieved"
- BJLStorm, on 07/25/2008, -2/+111So, why do all the pictures look the same to me? Is there something wrong with the site?
Oh *****, I'm colorblind. - FasmTrout, on 07/25/2008, -8/+105No, it is impossible. It cannot be done. Everyone who tries will fail. No one will ever be able to make a mirror of this for the rest of time.
There is no god. - DarkSpoon, on 07/24/2008, -1/+94http://www.colourlovers.com/blog/wp-content/upload ...
Apparently they don't see ads either! Sign me up. - JosephCHart, on 07/25/2008, -2/+64I'm colorblind and an artist. I took a color theory class in college. As the class went on I kept my secret to myself and used it to my advantage. When we presented a unique story about ourselves I revealed my secret. The teacher abruptly interrupted me and said "In my 30 years of teaching I have never passed a colorblind student." I received straight Fs after that presentation. I was outraged. I used my rage to motivate myself in other classes which consisted in key color elements. Eventually I brought forth a portfolio to the College President and he refunded me of all my art courses that term. The teacher was sent to another department... the monotone colors of pottery! I cracked up! Literally, I failed pottery when I dropped my final project :/
- im2emo4myshrt, on 07/25/2008, -0/+61I don't get it. Those pictures look the same.
- rockwithme000, on 07/25/2008, -3/+62Is this some kind of cruel joke implying colorblind people can't run a decent server?
- inactive, on 07/25/2008, -4/+63I see most of what you did there.
- inactive, on 07/25/2008, -1/+56Dugg up for not being a loser.
- haikuFU, on 07/25/2008, -1/+56Us colorblind people can see better in the dark than normal color-seers. This is because colorblind people have more rods and less cones in their eye.
I remember in high school walking through the woods to parties down by the river and leading about 8-10 people who couldn't see anything, when I could see just fine. - FoxOrian, on 07/25/2008, -0/+50You can't fly jets.
- ferinex, on 07/25/2008, -4/+51Everyone saying 'it looks the same' is freaking retarded. Being colorblind, I'm telling you /they don't look the same/. The ones labeled as 'what the colorblind see' is for /your/ eyes. To a colorblind person, the image marked as 'original' looks the same as how you see the 'adjusted' image. However, the adjusted image, to colorblinds, looks different. Different from what you'd see, and different from how the original looks to you.
I hope that all makes sense. My point is basically that the original and adjusted image look different even to the colorblind. - icantdenythis, on 07/25/2008, -1/+34I appreciate the fact that he said "colour" and everyone got pissy, and then he said "u" and no one has said a word. . .
- socoolisme, on 07/25/2008, -1/+32Whatever, at least I can tell the difference between red and green.
- jmoo1, on 07/25/2008, -1/+29Colourblind people make better lovers - its a fact.

- inactive, on 07/25/2008, -1/+22MySpace looks much better for plain blind people.
- geekymonkey, on 07/25/2008, -0/+21Are you serious!? I can't believe the nerve of that teacher. Wow. If only you'd have waited till after you got your final grade. I'd have liked to see the look on his face.

- DavidGX, on 07/25/2008, -0/+13Perhaps he has total color blindness and is an *****.
- FoxOrian, on 07/25/2008, -2/+15Man, I know fumpr is a free image host, but a 753px wide logo banner on each page? That's bigger than most of the content the users would be submitting. Whatever happened to a little subtlety?
- mctom987, on 07/25/2008, -1/+14You steal my sunshine!
- exeprime, on 07/25/2008, -0/+12Whoa. Seeing red vs night-vision. Tough one.

- DemDude, on 07/25/2008, -0/+10In Gymnasium (which, in germany, is the highest kind of school for grades 5-13, has nothing to do with sports), my parents told my arts teacher right in fifth grade that I was colorblind (which I am).
She disliked me instantly. Unfortunately, she was an alcoholic, so she forgot in a week or two and gave me bad marks all the time. I could tell her whatever I wanted "Here, you get a D. The colors are all wrong" "But I'm colorblind!" "Yeah right."
After my parents had met her on two parent-teacher days and were outraged, it seemed to stick. For a couple of months.
Then, one week, we had to do the colorwheel of Johannes Itten (see link below). Which, naturally, was impossible for me to do right. So I told her beforehand, and she said I should just do it, she'd keep it in mind when she'd make the marks. She actually came up to me to tell me that my greens and reds were all wrong, so I had to remind her I was colorblind. Twice.
Then the marks came, I got an F, I asked her why that was - "Well, te colors were all wrong, the greens and reds were total rubbish" "But I'm colorblind!" "You are?" "Yes! Will you revise the mark?" "No, perhaps you should have told me beforehand!"
A couple of months after that, she had to go to rehab and never came back. Which I was pretty happy about =)

- inactive, on 07/25/2008, -0/+9was it just me, or did some sites look cooler i.e. myspace? and digg looks like upcoming beta.
- johnnyblazepw, on 07/25/2008, -0/+8@ferinex I think if you walk up to ANY person with free fried chicken, grape soda and watermelon you'll have made a new friend lol. Everyone loves fried chicken dont they?
- richardhenry, on 07/25/2008, -2/+10Oooh, that's nice! Perhaps you'll spend the rest of the day helping the elderly across the road, and then donating your savings to charity.
- Sirko, on 07/25/2008, -7/+15is it possible to have a mirror for this?
- dazparkour, on 07/25/2008, -0/+7Now you know what the digg comments look like without a sarcasm detector.
- wrzhydr, on 07/25/2008, -0/+7lol. I'm red/green color blind, so some of them look normal to me. others however, when i'm looking at a side by side comparison, there is no difference.
