- Pestilence, on 10/12/2007, -6/+91Awesome! VERY creative!
- ThugEsquire, on 10/12/2007, -2/+44Anyone else notice the Red Alert Tesla coil sound effect? Or the Age of Empires sword sound effect? Or am I the only one lame enough to recognise them?
- NGliam, on 10/12/2007, -15/+53Again.. another site steals from Newgrounds and it gets Dugg. Too late now, but if you really like this Flash then go to http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/316541 to see the original and vote 5 on it, so that the author can actually benefit from this.
- mikegioia, on 10/12/2007, -4/+31Yea but I wanted to see those stick men get destroyed for some reason.

oh, do shut up. I haven't been to newgrounds for years. What? Do you think I would have *telepathically* sensed its greatness? If I hadn't seen this Digg, that boy's animation wouldn't have grazed my eyes.
You simply do not understand the power and strength of Digg as a PR machine. - Kazenodeku, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17NGliam:
You've got it a bit backwards. We (flash creators) don't hate free publicity. If we did, we wouldn't post to Newgrounds- we would take the few simple steps to making a flash exclusive to a single domain name. (script a URL check, and protect it from decompilers. easy with a google or two.)
What we DO hate is when sites (eBaums) decompile the flashes and remove our names. That wasn't the case here- his name is at the end of the movie. So he IS getting credit, and he can still use that to show sponsors. (They'll only sponsor your stuff if it hasn't been released anywhere yet, and don't give you much money in the grand scheme of things. They also usually sponsor toons for considerably less than games, if at all.)
And you may actually be surprised to learn that if a flash content site wants to host your movie that you put on newgrounds, they won't usually just take it. They'll email you and request permission. - revmitcz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Let's be fair - embedded MCs don't play in the timeline preview anyway, so it's a moot point ;)
- moitio, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12It's hard times for us Linux users. We have to wait till 2007 for flash 9...
- richbradshaw, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9There is that Comic Book game for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive... think its called Comix Zone? Google it, I found a rom of it on a site - you can play it using Gens, an emulator... there is a screenshot here http://www.mobygames.com/game/genesis/comix-zone/screenshots/gameShotId,33846/ , showing the animator drawing an enemy to fight... it's a cool game!
You can rip paper out of the page as well to make paper airplanes to fight with, and rip the dividers between frames out to get inot other scenes....
Try it! - kob2040, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10not entirely original if you recall the bugs bunny/daffy duck cartoons where the pencil kept erasing and drawing the scene.... but still cool...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+14That's really good. Very original.
- CrocHunter, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8There should be video games like this.
- NSMike, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Kind of reminds me of that Looney Tunes short of Daffy getting screwed with by the animator. Good stuff.
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6This cartoona; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVs_BVi9lDQ
- uzusan, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6you can also view this at the authors devArt page - http://www.deviantart.com/view/34244097/
- shaniber, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5This is great! Not only is it a funny animation, it's also a good basic flash tutorial, if you watch close enough!
- daRoach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Because it should say very awesome.
- ElectricGrandpa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Another older one by the same guy... just another boring old stick fight at first, but when the water starts coming, you can tell he's got skills.
http://www.deviantart.com/view/33386848/ - alittlemelty, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Yeah. It's like a modern-day version of that old Looney Toons gem. Really well done, though, and I love the creative ways the Victim tries to escape his creator.
- TheMJ, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Because it's redundant. your digg says "very cool" for you. people can allready see that you think the link is "very cool" if your name is at the bottom of the page. the purpose of the comments is to discuss the link, not say if it is cool or not.
- championchap, on 10/12/2007, -7/+10ooh, wow, that actually was really nicely done
I'm not a fan of stick animations on the whole, but that one was very creative.. with a lot going on!
i was very pleasantly surprised!
one complaint though, he made the symbol a graphic, not a movieClip - redzombi2k, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7@NGliam
From SiteAdvisor...

No wonder people didn't download it from there! - redzombi2k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@suicidal-kid
Thanks for the tip, however I do use firefox with adblock and filter.g set updater. I also use site advisor which usually tends to be a useful tool when doing searches on Google.
I have never been to "NG" or even heard of it before today, so Site Advisors recommendation was all I had to go by. (Like I said USUALLY pretty reliable) Maybe someone should leave the feedback to correct its status if that is not correct. - themuffinman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2it...was...a...joke...
- firsttube, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I like it quite much, very creative and entertaining. I really like how it breaks down the borders of the canvas and takes place wherever it happens to go. Good digg.
- FzArEkTaH, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i was always too poor for Sega TV, but my friends had it ;)
- wpholmes, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6Thats absolutly fantastic, very well done. I wish I had the talent to put together something like that.
Reminds me of that one where the desktop icons attack each other... - kittenkrawl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1truly amazing
- Mongoose, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Hahaha. Best flash animation I've seen in a while. A very good break form the cliche stick figure fight drivel.
- fatmonkey26, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1direct flash link:

- FRAGaLOT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1my only complaint! too short!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+49/10! More more of that kind at: http://www.xiaoxiaomovie.com/index02.htm If I am not wrong, Xiao Xiao started it all.
- haloevo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1
This was awesome. - Zaggynl, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Can someone mirror this?
No digg effect, but my provider blocks this for reason X T_T' - echo1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3awesome game. i remember playing this on sega TV. anyone? eh?
- rhenan, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5great movie in a traditional genre...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVs_BVi9lDQ - Greenline, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very Cool and everyone knows it
- tigerpaper, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3ha
I like the part where he drags out an instance of himself from the library - journeyman101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You know, I was thinking the same thing about Daffy Duck getting harassed by the animator in that old Looney Tunes cartoon.....ended up that Bugs was the animator.
- DCstewieG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No one was ever more ahead of their time than Sega. Sega Channel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_Channel) absolutely rocked...except for the hardware. My friend seemed to need a new one every few weeks.
- richbradshaw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Never heard of Sega Channel.... they were ahead of their time! This is similar to Xbox Live isn't it... Good old Sega!
- baskervillain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ambrosia Software are working on a game called Sketch Fighter that this really reminded me of.. you can see a bunch of screenshots at the link below.
http://www.ambrosiasw.com/forums/index.php?act=module&module=gallery&cmd=sc&cat=19 - maxplanar, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Very good. It's 'Duck Amuck' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duck_Amuck) for the Flash generation, basically.
- echo1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ahhh, my mistake, sega channel. this thing was the coolest thing around back in the day. pretty good selection too each month. tough to scratch together (or beg parents for) 13 a month when you're in gradeschool though :-p
- zzzneterlinken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What about all over the world? All info on one site ! http://www.bigtop5.org
- bjohnsonwsu, on 10/12/2007, -10/+10Boo to flash 8 requirements. I wanna watch :(
- TwwIX, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Pretty Cool. :)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That really was amazing. A++
