http://www.socksoff.co.uk/walls01.html - moiety, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Great wallpaper, but the author has "stolen" them from many sites (namely DeviantArt), branded them with his logo and neglected to provide proper credit or so much as links to the source. Not cool.
- jaxun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Before I read this, I think that I was on the fence about asking to have a "Wallpapers" subtopic established so I could go right to all the awesome wallpapers posts, but this definitely pushed me off the fence... into the neighbor's back yard with that big dog that likes to hump my leg.
- mrblogadise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1those wallpapers suck.
these rule:
http://www.desktopia.com/wallpapers/Female_Models/Raquel_Gibson - aachleon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There are also some nice wallpapers on art.gnome.org and kde-look.org.
- doddilus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i have one think to say about these "Amazing Walpapers"...
meh - brianritchie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very nice.. but digg effect very much in play... the site is extremely slow at this point. Thx for the link
- comicbookguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I must be missing something, this looks like a great collection of thumbnails not wallpapers. NO DIGG
- GGERG15, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0not bad, took a few
- Awakened, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Right-click, Save Image As...
They're full resolution JPEGs but have to be downloaded first. - ever, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@TerminalFreeze; haha, you hit the nail on the head.. true.
These kind of stories are just crappy. People have Google, right. Then there's deviantart just to name a few sources. Wallpapers aren't "amazing". No digg. - Hozezero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0boo no duel wallpapers. as "zone" linked http://www.mandolux.com/ is great for this.
- Genghis1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm looking for a picture of Uranus.
- crpietschmann, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"A collection of the most beautiful wallpapers for free!"
um... ok... Where have you been looking? They look average. - dravidian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Lol
full size thumbnails + digg effect = this guy's going to have a very high bandwidth charge - slack31337, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'll dig....Aeon ..i mean Charlize is there :) but i agree some are ripped off
- woodwater, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Blah...old wallpapers...no 1600.
- AsceticMonk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thanks for the collection of links, zone (1)!
- mike_p, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah he went through the process of at least letting everyone know they are stolen... and they're not thumbnails... if you right click on most of them and go to "View Image" you will see the full size...
I'm running 1360x1024 and the images are larger than my browser window on full-screen size... so quit your whining...
Better than a lot of other diggs anyway
+digg - DisposableRob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Taking it and passing it off as your own is dirty and wrong."
Read the bottom.
"All wallpapers are copyrighted to their respective owners. Commercial use of those pictures is strictly forbidden without prior agreement of the author. Each wallpaper present on www.wallpapers.lostcoders.net can be removed on request from the author." - DisposableRob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Link...slowing...down......
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not only are they not amazing, but...well, they're not amazing. Nor do they come in different sizes. Also, as was pointed out, some are stolen. Um...yeah. Went through all the pages, found nothing of note.
No digg. +lame. - Pimpalicious316, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0how do we get the full sized versions?
- Nerys, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0copyright theft = crime = no digg
I know this is a nitpick but its sooo critical that I have to point it out - you describe NO crime here. there is no such thing as copyright theft. you can not STEAL copyright. you can INFRINGE copyright. semantics sure but everything is semantics one way or another and this is an important one. COPYRIGHT THEFT does not EXIST !! its fundimentally impossible. its COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT

http://www.zodiacreview.com/ - Splendor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Where are the full sized pics at?
- TRUEPATRIOT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow where would i be with out these amazing wallpapers. i would have never found them, anywhere online ever.
no digg -.- - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Where are the full sized pics at?"
- Teh_Shiz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yes, lots stole, no digg, but for the people that do want full size image, simply right click, view image, and click on the image when it has the magnifiying glass with a +, sorry if somebody already posted, i didn't want o read every comment, and too lazy to ctrl+f
- phantomphreak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Some decent picks, but nothing special here.
- mistshadow2k4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The difference, dazeweeble, involves money. I don't put my wallpapers on the net to earn money, let alone charge 30+ (or whatever) times what it cost me to make them, like the RIAA does for music. Even though some of the software I use did originally cost me money, I don't charge for my wallpapers. So I'd rather people didn't try to claim them as their own or host/distribute altered versions of them - they can host/distribute them all they want as far as I'm concerned, but don't change them.
- GreenSlabOfClay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A closeup of a keyboard?
Gas cans?
Typical car, scenery and applications...yawn.
no digg - mistshadow2k4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great, now I'm going to have to go modify all my wallpaper entries at Deviant Art to cover anybody else hosting and watermarking them. I actually wouldn't mind anyone hosting them on another site, but somebody else watermarking them (none are watermarked) raises my blood pressure. I'm sure a lot of my fellow deviants will feel the same way.
- expotice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0seriously who runs at 1600x1200 any more? high resolution and widescreen is where it's at. these wallpapers look gorgeos on my new dell 30" http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/resolutions.php?w=2560 there is also 1920x1200 stuff as well
- afrazkhan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cars, girls, and windows logos. Also, there are no dual-screen papers. Also, their resolutions are low. Also ... they suck balls :P
- dazeweeble, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0With the amount of torrent search and "free" mp3 sites, I'm surprised at the reaction for the "relocated" wallpapers.
- djhomeboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like em. If you click the jpg you will get the hi res ur looking for. Dugg...
- kamizu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0some are most definitely from deviantART. i recognised a few of them. although he did cover his ass by the disclaimer below:
"All wallpapers are copyrighted to their respective owners. Commercial use of those pictures is strictly forbidden without prior agreement of the author. Each wallpaper present on www.wallpapers.lostcoders.net can be removed on request from the author."
so i suppose there's no prob. all in all, it's just another collection of WPs. - corndog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Stolen wallpapers, no digg.
- FCon4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Simply *amazing* how few people seem incapable of right-clicking on an image!
+dugg - BETA7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dam it again why is it that every time someone posts something about images or games or anything thats non text in content on digg it always ends up getting the dam digg effect then it slowly dies out of bandwidth lol
- tldavis98012, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the life pill one is sooooooo cool
- iamorlando, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wheres the beef? these are only thumbnails
- apache2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I must be missing something, this looks like a great collection of thumbnails not wallpapers. NO DIGG"
Come on, are you seriously that stupid? I thought for sure almost everyone had the habit of "right click > view image" down already, especially for porno :O - PrimoTurbo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Watermarking is very lame.
- dieselstation, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0woot! thanks for the mention of my site.
- terminalfreeze, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That guy is the eric ebaum of wallpaper.
- tsun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0im really tierd of seeing artists work get stolen and resistributed withought credit. this is nothing but that and its terrible to see this much support for it.
