Least it has thumbnails of the brushes too which is more than can be said about alot of PS brush sites I've visited.

I've been using Photoshop for a decade+, and I think its brush functionality sucks compared to apps like Painter, which supports brush tilt, full color images (not just grayscale "stamping"), and tons more variances in how a brushes act based on pressure. Photoshop's brushes are good for retouching, but as a purely creative tool, Photoshop's brushes are extremely primitive.

But, yes; I agree with you; it's not a big deal. It's not even a well-heaped deal. It's just an advert for a kind of unprepossessing new brush site. I've seen Buffy fansites with better resources.

- foxymcfox, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This site really isn't that great. As many have mentioned before me, dA is a much better brush source, both in quantity as well as quality. You can find just about anything you want there. Unfortunately, as hard as I try, I can't seem to find any good, clean leafy/vine/swirly ornament brushes out there. Anyone know of any good sets that I should check out.

I mean it IS named psbrushes.net right? Even if it is the best site right now, dA isn't centralized around brushes....

It's a kidd's stuff site, go to cgtalk.com and learn what is possible with real brushes. Also have a look a Dave Nagel's (digitalmediadesigner.com) brushes to understand how professional brushes look like.
