- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+24orly? I think the owl is best.
- Lanie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23I absolutely love this art, but as an artist it greatly upset me that nowhere in this article or the article being linked to was the artist credited. But a quick google search set things right. :)
The artist is Guido Daniele, and he has a lot more body paintings on his web site. Check it out: http://www.guidodaniele.com - alco64, on 10/12/2007, -3/+22Incredible, truly incredible.
Some of them fooled me into thinking they were not even painted onto hands. - Desolite, on 10/12/2007, -4/+17Are you being serial?
I'm totally serial. - pero69, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12you're making me think these pictures might not be safe for work...
- undershirt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Big hands, I know you're the one!
- Retuow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11that crocodile is the best!
- adampolselli, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I love how the elephants utilize the hand wrinkles so perfectly.
- je12u, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Think someone could help me paint Jessica Alba's face with her mouth open on my left hand? PPllleeaasseeeee?
- fordistumley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Dugg for the Elephant alone, although they were all spectacular.
- heavybackpack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5As Laine said, you should give credit where credit is due. Rather than traffic to a blogger who ripped the images and stuck some adds next to them.
http://www.guidodaniele.com/bodypaint01.htm - bradbaxter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Yeah, the should do that, for sure! Idiot.
- YouKnowWho, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I'm guessing this took incredible airbrushing work. Awesome work.
- tagawa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Hmm, missed the point slightly, haven't we?
- plhearn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I've seen these several times on a commercial for animal planet. They show these paintings in action all the time.
- MadEnvoy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5While this art is truly "Amazing" it takes a backseat to Hand Job Art.
- tutivlahos, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8plhearn does.
- michaelb1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Can he make one look like a really pretty womans mouth or perhaps female genitalia?
I'm just asking for no particular reason. - viva162, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Giraffe FTW!
It looks so real, and the dimension added around the Giraffe's mouth is incredible. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Agreed the elephant is amazing how the hell did they do the giraffe
- monkeyman08854, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Let the ORLY owl jokes commence...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Thanks for doing the research.
What pisses me off, is the ad revenue this "blogger" got from the Digg effect. - xister, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Looks like the blogger stole these pics and put them on their own site-
Cool pics but won't digg it just for that reason... - lorductape, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1GET A LIFE
- markrubi2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What no blogspam bitches posting a gripe about the google ads...
- jmonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That last part is absolutely false. I actually worked on two of these photo shoots. The 1st one of the eagle and the giraffe were the shots that I worked on. To do just one shot takes all day. The first half of the day is him painting the image on to someones hand. Not his, a hand model's. And the second half is lighting and positioning the hand just right, with about 100 variations. It's not photoshop.
- KillerLettuce, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Weren't these on an Animal Planet commercial?
- zelowlifeaiss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1thats so cool. but i find it funny that the person's hand is shaped like a snake, but they didn't make a painting of a snake. it would have went so perfect. it's really nice though, no doubt
- michaelb1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You would be rejected by your own hand.
- xister, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No, they put it there just for you sweetie...
- StevethePirate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thats what i thought too, but only because there was no apparent gap or shadow between the thumbs.
- silouette747, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Creepy very Creepy
- acesomeone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Amazing
- hatchjr, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4I gotta Hand it to them...*filed under pun section*
- dep01, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1it's not fake, the guy was in Reader's Digest... It left off the fact that he can only do it on himself and his children because he knows their hands so well.
- Darknitez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is wild... Art in any form is a pleasure to see!!
- patricktu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Amazing. This one looks SO realistic: http://photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger/7376/2321/400/589196/hand_painting_05.jpg
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1prophotog just thought to mention, this is not my blog. I got link from other SN site
- EmmSee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The angled elephant... amazing.
- steven401, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The owl, elephant and the goose fooled me.
- Nudar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm fairly certain this has already found its way to digg before because I've seen these and have no idea who else would have given me the link.
- chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1That hawk with it's wing open was ***** cool.
- gatorsrule21, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Didn't you hear? Diggers don't click on ads!
- zmigliozzi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1thats pretty neat, but... random?
- Labradane, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Someone has way to much time on there hands.
- Zavod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice. Quite beautiful.
- je12u, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A little late buddy...see my post above
- incubusknight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Its indeed the same guy, those are stills of the paintings actually used for the commercials.
