- BevansDesign, on 09/23/2008, -5/+351Can't they just upgrade CS3 a few more times? Give me another year to pay off the software I have right now.
- Azerael, on 09/23/2008, -12/+342Free upgrade:
http://thepiratebay.org - acdx1, on 09/23/2008, -2/+249"Adobe released details Monday about Creative Suite 4 ..."
Funny, something about the title led me to believe they had actually released CS4. - Ultra99, on 09/23/2008, -2/+207May your cracks work properly and your seeders be plentiful. :)

vs
Down Payment for House
Decisions, decisions... - Azerael, on 09/23/2008, -2/+89If anyone's wondering, here's a comprehensive list of the consequences:
- mayavada, on 09/23/2008, -6/+92so expensive!
- WhiteUnit, on 09/23/2008, -2/+85Piracy helps Adobe. Companies buy Adobe Products because they are the tools that most people know how to use. People who would have never bought the software pirate it and learn to use it, which means Adobe didn't actually lose one red cent over that.
- Shogi, on 09/23/2008, -14/+92Time to head down to the Bay!
- blu3bird, on 09/23/2008, -12/+89Whats sad is my University still uses CS2.
- dshPls, on 09/23/2008, -7/+78If you're making money off of Adobe products it's pretty ridiculous that you don't pay for them. Now if you're just getting into design, go get the programs and teach yourself. But there comes a time when you should pony up and buy the software that's been making you cash.
- dpollitt, on 09/23/2008, -2/+70Is this a pirate prayer?
- iEnigma, on 09/23/2008, -1/+67Buried for very misleading title. CS4 was announced, not released.
- inactive, on 09/23/2008, -0/+60it ships in October. its not out yet.
- Chirp08, on 09/23/2008, -3/+63You know I honestly would have no issue dropping 1500 dollars on this software collection if It meant a lifetime of upgrades. But there is no way I can justify that cost with my income for software that will only last a year. That has to be the single worst investment one could make.
- iamichi, on 11/12/2008, -0/+52To be honest, I don't think they care so much that people download it. Lots of people learn to use it that way as not all of us can afford that kind of money. As long as the company you work for pays the licenses (as they should), they get their money and you get to learn how to use it.
- P0peRatz0, on 09/23/2008, -9/+57Try this:
https://thepiratebay.org - stauf7, on 09/23/2008, -0/+45If I could dig your comment bevansDesign numerous times, I would. This is also bad for educational institutions. For teaching purposes you need to stay current but a lot of the time your upgrades are a year late due to budget concerns. By the time you get to upgrade your labs with CS3, they announce CS4. I'm all for innovation but you are just pissing people off making whole version upgrades that require another purchase.
- inactive, on 09/23/2008, -9/+52This one is better:
http://thepiratebay.org/ - KSUdesigner, on 09/23/2008, -1/+43If the company you work for pays for a license, you are legally allowed to take that license and use it on your home computer. There's a clause in their EULA:
"2.4 Portable or Home Computer Use. The primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer or a Computer located at his or her home, provided the Software on the portable or home Computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer." - inactive, on 09/23/2008, -2/+42If only there was a site where people could gather together and share programs and pictures videos and other items of interests.
- xkingADROCKx, on 09/23/2008, -4/+43but GIMP is *****
- drouk1556, on 09/23/2008, -1/+40To put it in even more comprehensive terms, the $2499 Master Collection is worth .00000000025 percent of the current national debt.
- temsi, on 09/23/2008, -1/+39Wow, a $2500 down payment on a house?
Does it come with new wheels or something? - inactive, on 09/23/2008, -6/+43ANNOUNCES. not releases.
and nice they have 64 bit photoshop for windows but not mac (haha) - Glum, on 09/23/2008, -4/+41what was the url?!
- rockstar1o9, on 09/23/2008, -1/+38Perfect. Just have your workplace sell its copies of CS3 to blu3bird's university and use the money to upgrade to CS4. Everyone wins!
- Magnj, on 09/23/2008, -0/+35lol 70
- nads, on 09/23/2008, -5/+39Don't worry, Adobe CS4 Pirate Collection will be released soon.
- inactive, on 09/23/2008, -8/+37Mirror
http://www.mininova.org/ - bstockwell, on 09/23/2008, -4/+33Amen
- wontstoptalking, on 09/23/2008, -14/+42About time! To TPB!!!!!
EDIT: Not out yet, stupid title. Oh well, to TPB anyway!!!! - dullnation, on 09/23/2008, -0/+27Daughter and Wife... seems reasonable.
- SoundJudgment, on 09/23/2008, -0/+25"Photoshop CS4 will use your computer's graphics chip for the first time, while offering support for 64-bit Windows."
Finally. Now,,,, there is a reason to upgrade. - aussieNickuss, on 09/23/2008, -3/+28Jesus Christ, I only got CS3 a couple months ago!
- theradical, on 09/23/2008, -1/+26only last a year? what happens then, does the software implode?
- Glum, on 09/23/2008, -4/+28Photoshop is not free?
- freehunter, on 09/23/2008, -6/+30Hell, I still use CS2. There's really no reason to upgrade unless you need the new features, Adobe's just putting out expensive ***** to make more money, CS4 can't have any needed features, and it's bound to be even slower and more bloated than CS3.
- hartley, on 09/23/2008, -3/+26The first rule of Fight Club is...
- Chirp08, on 09/23/2008, -1/+24...not be internationally known as the face of pirating?
- SniperZero, on 09/23/2008, -2/+25Could you at least wait till CS3 works fine on wine >_>.
- auer1816, on 09/23/2008, -3/+25The release is on the 23rd -- notice there are no screenshots. Expect to see much buzz about CS4 over the next couple days.
- adasha, on 09/23/2008, -1/+21Education does get discounts yes, but then we have to buy many many copies of it, plus licensing servers. Funds aren't infinite unlike what some people think. It's tough to justify a few labs of CS4 if we've only recently upgraded to CS3 and there's other software or resources that needs more immediate attention.
- Tarnum, on 09/23/2008, -2/+22IMHO Nobody pays the full price.
Some will get the educational discount, the design shops will get the volume discount/site license in December (if that will decrease the taxes), and the home users will get the cracked version from the local torrent site. - ricksite, on 09/23/2008, -1/+21The worst investment? If you can make tens of thousands of dollars doing work with it, it is a very good investment. It might be a bad investment for you but it is a good investment for many people.
- jpuda, on 09/23/2008, -0/+19That's the best comment ever.
- iXneonXi, on 09/23/2008, -9/+28Although I cannot possibly with my experience use all the features currently available in CS3, you can expect to see me seeding the most popular corporate image over at ThePirateBay.org. I understand that developers need money, but, please! I'm not spending more than the cost of my computer for a bit of image editing and flash animation. The rest of the suite is just a fun toy for me.
