- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18I'd much rather have tutorials on digg than people like you.
- Pulp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8This is the best tutorial of this sort I have come across. I think the result is much more polished.

Forget Andy Warhol. - wetdirtmud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7At least he made an effort to help some people out instead of spending his time bashing others.
- stealth658, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5:( I thought I was going to find a tutorial on how to make pop tarts in photoshop
- TaeBoX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4People like this make it to my block list.
- Schnep97, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Very few tutorial authors give a crap what they put under the requirements. Most just put CS or higher just to be safe.
- nekaidesigns, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2doing this kind of stuff via filters and pre-packaged methods is never as valuable or helpful as doing it by hand - fire up illustrator, use the pen tool, do it point-by-point, make your dotted patterns, and your final product will look 10x better, and you will have spent more time and learned far more than you would have with this tutorial. I suppose this is a better solution if you need to throw together a pop-art-esque portrait in a couple minutes to hit a deadline and aren't especially concerned with how nice it looks (totally likely, i know), but otherwise you're just perpetuating your own inexperience.
- MikeWilson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"I started using Photoshop at 5.5 and can't say I've memorized every difference."
Enough to know Threshold and fill have been alone for a long time.. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3buried for lame, I wish I could do that in real life to webtech
- praveenmarkandu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4i've been looking for how to do this for a long time. thanks
- mojaam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think vectoring a photo and colorizing it will also do.
- darkmotion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This is lame, it's just a few filters here and there and requires no skill at all.
- gklitt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Setting the threshold at 30 didn't work at all for me, had to set it much higher. Did anyone else have this problem?
- wetdirtmud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I wouldn't have gone back and done research about every command in photoshop history just to make sure you can use my tutorial. I started using Photoshop at 5.5 and can't say I've memorized every difference.
- 81v3d07g0d, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I am still a total noob at photoshop as well but this tutorial is terrible, its tutorials like this that start people who want to learn photoshop on the wrong foot. In fact I was hoping for another good source for quality photoshop advise and found nearly every tutorial on the site to be of the same quality. Its really too bad there is so much bad advise on photoshop out there, it seems like its ***** things up more than helping.
edit: this was supposed to be lower. - Pulp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Lichtenstein was a ***** hack. Jack Kirby should have sued him for plagiarism."
Since most of Lichtenstein's pieces are indeed upscaled reproductions of work done by other artists, I'm going to assume that he had permission to create the vast majority of them. - minifig, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Yup - I had exactly that problem.
- mylkhead, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Why does this hit the front page? It's not even that interesting of a tutorial, there are so many better ones out there. Buried for lame (although something this poor quality is probably spam too.) Plenty of good tutorials never make it.
- Karp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Popart and drugs?
What a lame digg. - BonhamsGhost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Amen
- ghjkl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i would have liked some coloring tips instead
- bat-21, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Lichtenstein was a ***** hack. Jack Kirby should have sued him for plagiarism.
- bitcloud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1He definitely made an effort...
It doesn't change the fact that he's a photoshop noob... - DanAtkinson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I'm going to Digg this so that next time I feel bored and want to do something with photos of my mates, I'll remember this!
I've been meaning to do something cool with CS2 for quite a while now (read: since it was released), but all I end up doing is cloning work. Hardly a skill! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1http://duggmirror.com
- Amandaaa, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2This is a joke
- bitcloud, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1this is laughter at your joke
- Wonderkind, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I have to agree. It's nice that people do help others for free, but some just aren't worth it.
- dyehappy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0"we don't need drugs, we have photoshop"
you don't use drugs while photoshopping? - anonymousguy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2Hey, I'm sorry. That was bad form on my part. While I can't take back what I said, I do regret it... I honestly feel a bit humbled. My apologies.
- hadimirza, on 03/26/2008, -4/+2There was something like this posted a while ago. But this one is better since it's so simple! Thanks and dugg
- anonymousguy, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5I'm not gonna lie, this is pretty horrible. This is like an unholy mixture of Warhol and Lichtenstein made by a Photoshop noob...
Comic sans? - M4v3rIC, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1I made this for my japanese friend a while ago - using this tutorial
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/66/224247019_3097ccbc7a_o.jpg - DevilDunkard, on 10/12/2007, -11/+5I love the requirement "Adobe Photoshop CS or higher". There is nothing done in this tutorial that you can't do with Photoshop 4. Lame...Dugg Down
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+0i've never done drugs while using photoshop. but i think i might like to someday.
- skryingbreath, on 10/12/2007, -14/+1I'd rather have more people like me, I'm awesome.
- skryingbreath, on 10/12/2007, -36/+3***** these lame ass tutorials. Get the ***** off digg.
