- shcforward, on 11/23/2007, -8/+43Supernatural means above nature. Only nature we know of is on earth. The night sky is above the earth. Therefore, the nighttime sky is above nature. Therefore, the nighttime sky (which this depicts) is supernatural.
- CalipsoII, on 11/23/2007, -7/+38Actually a very nice effect (was half-expecting some garish red-on-green-dripping-paint effect). Dugg!
- arobar, on 11/23/2007, -2/+24Please be more arrogant. It's so appealing.
- Narcism, on 11/23/2007, -0/+19^ An example of not using the reply button.
- Yellow2k7, on 11/23/2007, -8/+26The font they used is rubbish, it makes the text look more like "Suded Natural".
- kris33, on 11/23/2007, -1/+13BOO for paying for sample PSD!
- Mullers, on 11/23/2007, -0/+11Some people use anything as an excuse for American bashing.
- arobar, on 11/23/2007, -0/+10C'mon now, don't associate that guy with us.
- 3magine, on 11/23/2007, -2/+11I find it funny how a lot of people these days are not impressed by anything, put most of it down, yet if it came down to it, would not be able to achieve 25% of the stuff they put down with 200% of their own effort.
- JosefK88, on 11/23/2007, -0/+9That is hilarious....flashden is from Sydney. mooseontheloose do you know what country that is in?
- marmanukem, on 11/23/2007, -0/+8Spam much?
- quoquo, on 11/24/2007, -0/+8fugly font. just compare the p with the r.
not even a clan page designer for an obscure half life 1 mod would've used that. - LoveYouSomeEric, on 11/23/2007, -4/+12Terrible font, moderately interesting effect. Dugg primarily for the quick and eask star field technique.
- Jholder112233, on 11/23/2007, -1/+8^ An example of using the reply button.
- DemonWasp, on 11/23/2007, -2/+8Actually, his definition is the correct one, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural
That doesn't mean his American-bashing is warranted, but it certainly makes you wrong. Disemboweling your language is silly, and doesn't serve to help anything or anyone. - JonRick, on 11/23/2007, -1/+6Clearly not as lame as your comment.
- FishHammer, on 11/24/2007, -0/+4this is pretty sweet but is it REALLY top10 frontpage content?
- jpfed, on 11/24/2007, -0/+4I believe that "tutorials" such as these are like memorizing chess openings and endgames. If you just spend time experimenting on your own, learning the effect of each individual action and its first-order combinations well, then you will develop your "mid-game"- your ability to come up with your own new and effective solutions.
- Assezdefromage, on 11/23/2007, -3/+7Wow. You sure showed him. Moose on the Loose.. must be Canadian?
- sancho320, on 11/23/2007, -1/+4Honestly I liked the old one. The cut-off rounded rectangles on the right side look like mistakes, even though I know they're not.
- Gir53457, on 11/24/2007, -0/+3^An example of a double post
- 3magine, on 11/23/2007, -0/+2Ok, ready.....come up with something better, however, you're allowed to stay awake....ready...GO!
- spyd3rweb, on 11/24/2007, -0/+2did i forget to add that sarcasm tag again? i hate when i do that.
- 3magine, on 11/23/2007, -2/+4mmhmmmmmm..it's a metaphor for the intellectual overloards here.
- DukeMojo, on 11/24/2007, -0/+2Jesus Christ, it's a joke people.
(and that was a pun) - Gir53457, on 11/24/2007, -1/+3Alaska is too big you ***** american pigs.
- SolidSnake24, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2another quality tutorial. I've only been using Photoshop for a month and this site has really helped me out!
- Hoogs, on 11/24/2007, -0/+2The transition from step 17 to 18 didn't work too well for me... How did he make it look like that?
- MixMastaKooz, on 11/23/2007, -0/+2It's a decent tutorial but it assumes a bit about the learner...there were several times I was left confused as to what exactly needed to be changed. Luckily, I guessed correctly most of the time, but somewhere around step 8 and 9, Collis assumed you knew where to change a certain value. He should have screen shots of every thing he tells you to do and not just half of it. Even though to an experienced PS'er, it would be probably be a no-brainer, but I'm just a PS hobbyist.
- boscheironymous, on 11/24/2007, -1/+2Check this out!
In Word, click the insert tab and under “picture” click “WordArt”. There are many awesome choices in the gallery but for the sake of this tutorial choose the rainbow one. Now type your text, select the font style (again, more choices!), I like “Curlz MT”. Then pick your size and decide if you want it bold or italic and click “ok”. Now you have your WordArt and the fun really starts!
One your screen you will see a little WordArt window with some tools. Click on the little paint bucket and presto, you can change your fill color, line color, size, rotation and layout. Have fun and don’t be afraid to experiment. I’ve spent hours trying new things here.
Now for my favorite. Click on the little A (it’s the 5th button over). Look at all those crazy shapes! Again, try some different ones out and see what fits you.
Well there is a lot more I could write here but this is enough to get you started.
Your welcome. - LoveYouSomeEric, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1"Overloards"? Seriously?
- elnerdo, on 11/23/2007, -4/+5The page hasn't loaded yet, but I'm hoping ( and not expecting ) to understand what your comments means when I do get to see the page.
- Scabdates, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1"The supernatural (Latin: super- 'above' + natura 'nature')" Straight from the article you linked. What the ***** are you talking about DemonWasp?
- gonzo1773, on 11/23/2007, -4/+5Even if the font they used didnt really go with the piece, its still a good tut and worth while article to read.
- endersadvocate, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1control f alot
- Gir53457, on 11/24/2007, -1/+2^An example of killing the joke.
- inactive, on 11/24/2007, -1/+2didn't like it.
- Gir53457, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1Almost all his comments are Anti-American. Hes just xenophobic troll.
- Assezdefromage, on 11/23/2007, -2/+2Can we get a mirror? Site's not loading (and I have no patience).
- renagadex2, on 11/23/2007, -2/+2Burn bam
- ozhozh, on 11/24/2007, -0/+0Wow ! Unreadable text on a random background!
- djbon2112, on 11/23/2007, -3/+3Holy crap, that's intense! Definitely doing that to make a "starscape" background ;)
- palmerized, on 11/24/2007, -3/+3Hmm this is actually pretty good. I'm a designer -- have been for over 10 years -- I'm always amazed how many different ways there are to do something in Photoshop.
- jameswestfall, on 11/24/2007, -0/+0looks great. it's always nice to see the work of talented folks. keep it up.
- arobar, on 11/23/2007, -3/+3Coral Cache: http://psdtuts.com.nyud.net:8080/text-effects-tuto ...
Slow, but loaded for me. - Gir53457, on 11/24/2007, -1/+1It's a weird text thats warped in to look like alien glyphs.
- hiro, on 11/23/2007, -3/+3I thought it was 200 yrs but you may be right
- Easyoffbam, on 11/24/2007, -1/+1This is so photoshopped.
