"I imagine he wasn't posting this to be inconsiderate or anti-patriotic (gasp!). Believe it or not, a third of the country thinks 9-11 was an inside job. He was drawing attention to the inconsistencies with the story that a plane hit the pentagon.
Have a look at the picture. Do you see any plane parts? Why isn't the grass scarred? Why are so many windows intact?

Holy crap, why does someone always bring this ***** up. Why is it so hard to believe a 757 really did hit the Pentagon? Oh wait, that's right, it's the ***** Internet, people will believe anything. I have an aunt who was actually there and witnessed it. I guess I ought to believe some fruitcake on the net instead of an actual eye witness.
The first two are obvious, momentum from the impact would've carried both the debris and flammables forward into the building. Small ***** that didn't make it in wouldn't bounce back out directly in front of the hole, it would spread out to the side. Throw an egg against a wall and you see the same effect.
When a house catches on fire, you typically don't see the grass get scorched. On top of that look a little closer, you don't see scorched grass because there isn't any. The grass is churned into mud immediately around the damage.
The final question is just painfully stupid. It's the damn Pentagon. Are people really so stupid as to think a building like that would have just regular ol' pane windows? - SgtBeavis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13@sdcarter

I wasn't completely unamazed; but I'll agree that the title (or at least description) should be changed. It's pretty obvious what probably happened in most cases. I think 5-1/2 years later there are still a bunch of us going "WtF"happened because it is hard for a "normal" person to begin to understand how somebody could do something so horrific.

I wonder if it's a Seinfeld reference. The episode where Kramer adopts a stretch of freeway and decides to widen the lanes. After he discovers that the wider lanes have been causing accidents, he decides to fix it with paint thinner only to spill the whole container on the freeway. After a series of events, a sewing machine falls out of Jerry's Saab and gets stuck underneath Newman's mail truck and begins to spark as he drags it.
