What will we ever do without your brilliant web design tips! - mr1337, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19@Ihavethespeed
That shouldn't stop you. If it's an external CSS document, just grab the file location from the <link> tag in the head section. It's not rocket science. - mr1337, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21Right Click -> View Page Source
- Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Yes, do lets all write every bit of code from scratch. You, for instance, rewrote the Linux kernel for your own personal use since using Torvald's boring old pre-written kernel is so gauche.

css isnt exactly hard to find in the source - FiP0, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16iamcitizen: On the other hand, I've learned Javascript and HTML, as a teen, by copying on my hard drive websites that I liked, and changing stuff in the source to see what happenned.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -29/+44WANNABE DESIGNERS: You will never learn how to write CSS on your own if you just copy and paste someone else's work.
Look that the designs, look at the code, but _understand_ the code before you use it. - mr1337, on 10/12/2007, -6/+20Edit: Digg me up or down, your choice.
- donjaime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10edit: removed my response to Ihavespeed since it was posted 20 times

- mr1337, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10When companies make and copyright layouts to sell.
- chipitople, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8this is an awesome collection of different menus--saves the time of looking all this stuff up on my own...

You're dumb as hell if you can't find "@import "path/to/css.css"" in the source. - fishrjv, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5At least the code would be W3C compliant if people were to copy/paste it.
- daggerhart, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I got into PHP by having to copy & paste phpBB Mods.
- jummy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Showcase of Navigation Menus
http://www.alvit.de/css-showcase - G-RaZoR, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Hmm, does anyone else think it would be so much better if they just copied these over to one page? This is such a tedious task
- tomarocco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I copy and paste professionally. The clients never know, and who cares what some schoolboys on Digg think...their parents are still paying their rent.
- mikev, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So sorry you can't count higher than one. ;X
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I love how all the 'web developers' in this topic chime in with their obligatory 'OMG i know so much about html/css if you use these u r dumb LOL!!11'.
Get over yourselves and realize not all people develop professionally. - Ludm11, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2not bad for kind of reasons..
- tinapaal, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1There are plenty of tips online for designing with CSS. Just a little search in Google would fetch 1000s of new ones. Go on. Just try it.
http://www.definiteinfo.com/software/workforce-management-software.html - WeaselMan69, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0The source article for the blog post: http://www.econsultant.com/web-developer/css-menus-navigation-tabs/ (unfortunally this site is down for the moment)
- xboxdesign, on 07/29/2008, -1/+0I like it it's too good

(web designer) - bwizard, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Web developers all think they are gods, but the reality is that nobody really cares about who did the backend as long as it looks tight. They sit around and complain, while real people take their layouts and code turn them into art.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1copy and pasting code is called intelligent, why the ***** would i want to learn how to write some weirdo code thats gona be different or gone in a couple more years replaced by something beter when i can just copy yours, sucker.
plagiarism is actually just forced sharing on someone to dumb to share - SarahC, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Sadly, most of these don't work if you turn off "let web pages choose their own color schemes."
I WISH menu's could remain opaque with that option set. =( - sucks, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3http://www.opensourcetemplates.org/
this is better - vhtrading, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1This link has hit the front page more times than I can count. Dugg down.
- mikev, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5I like choice. *diggs up*
- tehbishop, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3Sweeeet!

This is a cool Firefox extension that among other things allows you to edit HTML and CSS on any page and see the results in real time. - bonexaw, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2The issue isn't if you can SEE the source. Yes, I'm a web developer, I know well how to view source, copy, paste. The issue is whether or not it is a nice library for easy download and customization. It's not.
This list is nothing special... You'll see hundreds of better and worse examples of this stuff just browsing the web on a daily basis.
This just doesn't deserve to be on Digg. Period. - ngmcs8203, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3Or creating your own?
- ryanmerket, on 10/12/2007, -14/+2"Great list of resources for CSS developers" - Real developers don't need a list like this.
- bonexaw, on 10/12/2007, -17/+5Disorganized list of things you've probably seen before, many of which without source... meh
- NX910a, on 10/12/2007, -19/+51 Ahh. Why develop when you can just copy and paste your website together
2 mr1337's generous bandwidth offer should not be dugg down, IMO - Ihavethespeed, on 10/12/2007, -30/+2@mr1337
you're dumb as hell. it's CSS.

What is Digg?
