- sungoddess808, on 11/24/2008, -0/+9The hand-drawn brushes are really great, thanks for the post! =)
- zohaibusman, on 11/24/2008, -0/+9or in windows just copy and paste the .abr file in C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS3PresetsBrushes
or where your photoshop is installed. - TheJuggernaut, on 11/24/2008, -0/+7http://letmegooglethatforyou.com/
- PiRATE7, on 11/24/2008, -0/+7OH MAH GAWD, LOADS O' GOODIEZS?! LAWWWD HAVE MER-SAY!!!
- inactive, on 11/24/2008, -1/+7Just kind of wondering, How do you install Photoshop brushes?
- ThePowerDigger, on 11/24/2008, -3/+9I'm very glad to see some of Nathan Brown's Photoshop brushes on there, that guy's a creative genius.
- jaygeeze, on 11/24/2008, -0/+6It really depends on your OS and photoshop version (I think) but here's a good primer to get you started:
http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshop/qt/inst ... - Dailydose4me, on 11/24/2008, -0/+5Cant get enough of them..keep em coming !
- Vintersemestre, on 11/24/2008, -0/+5Way too much use of the word grunge here.
- CindyDiggs, on 11/24/2008, -2/+7I love Photoshop! I'm kinda rusty, but this gives me motivation again.
- captainDyl, on 11/24/2008, -0/+5i wish everyone would just get over the grunge effect. it sucks!
- lintmonkey, on 11/24/2008, -0/+5What are you talking about? Photoshop brushes of knocked up teens are awesome and incredibly useful!
- thebarrytone, on 11/24/2008, -2/+6You could design all your own fonts, too. Just because you use other high quality resources doesn't make you unoriginal.
- h3110, on 11/24/2008, -4/+8Useless list Just a bunch of randomly picked brushes. A good list should be categorized and have a specific theme.
Just visit http://www.brusheezy.com instead. - MisterEX, on 11/24/2008, -0/+3On MacOS X - Open Hard Drive/Applications/Photoshop/Presets/Brushes and then simply drag and drop your ".abr" file in there. Restart Photoshop and load the brushes. Voila.
- soopertoll, on 11/24/2008, -0/+2thanks.
even if i hate «modern design trends.» - keatonkeaton998, on 11/24/2008, -0/+2how do you use these brushes that are like, pictures of people?
- DirtyDiggDog, on 11/24/2008, -0/+2Excellent list. Some of these I haven't come across yet.
- inactive, on 11/24/2008, -0/+2Those fractal brushes are really beautiful
- BabyHulk, on 11/24/2008, -0/+2another great post...thanks.
- ceruleanocte, on 11/24/2008, -1/+2wasn't dangeresque a homestar runner thing?
- cerealjynx, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Neat, I just dusted off my wacom earlier this week. :)
- oXxHellfirexXo, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Extremely useful post, thanks :)
- LanceUppercut, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Very cool to see some of bittbox's stuff. He used to be here (well the entity) all of the time, but I don't see him anymore.
- smrekar, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1If you double click them, it will install it until you reset the brushes palette.
- thirty6chambers, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1There's absolutely no commentary with his work because it's commercial work. so no, it's not subjective. when you want to judge this type of redundant photoshop job it's more about craftsmanship than anything else. where's the depth to his work? do you want to see better work? go to any random graphic designer on designiskinky.net and you'll instantly see designs a million times better than that of your "genius".
Either you guys are related or you just have bad taste. - mustache, on 11/24/2008, -5/+6Or you could, you know, design your own brushes and be original.
- adasha, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1some of these ae very cool, but its not until a way down the list before you get to anything that should really be a brush. before that they're fairly unique images that (a) would be better as stock images and (b) will prove how unoriginal you are if you use them
- Bungiechord, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Loving the '50s-esque ones.
- gemlarin, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1I'm very bored of grunge design. It is design for the uninspired designer.
- orangester, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Dugg for the great collection of brushes. There are some other pretty cool things on that site also.
- techobo, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Actually, some of them have a fee for commercial use.
- techobo, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Be careful. Some of them are free to download, but have a price for commercial use.
- monofoto59, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1I keep getting error messages when trying to unstuff the archives.
- cl2yp71c, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1If someone makes a .rar file...I'll give them a cookie.
- designersbrush, on 12/28/2008, -0/+0many brush and pattern at http://www.designersbrush.com all for FREE for personal and commercial use.....
- frankwillie, on 03/26/2009, -0/+0cool list man thanks
http://www.discountbobbibrowncosmetics.grasssod.ne ... - inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+0Some of them look like the visual vomit found on so many MySpace pages, but I'm not about to complain, considering the price. Free is good.
- march1972, on 03/05/2009, -0/+0hey great list thanks
http://www.typothis.com - designersbrush, on 12/28/2008, -0/+0U can find many hand drawn brushes at designersbrush.com.....
