WordPress is not what causes sites to fail from getting dugg. It can handle load just fine. Poorly managed servers or overloaded shared hosting packages will keel over regardless of what package they're running. You just see WordPress failures because the first thing to fail in such a setup is the database rather than the site, and so many people run WP on cheapo shared hosting packages. - webresources, on 11/10/2008, -1/+9Brightness is my fav. - inactive, on 11/12/2008, -0/+1also they fail at using wp super cache, that's almost a must have if you do not have something dedicated happening or a nice vps and you start getting mega traffic. Shared hosting and it's permissions do not allow using the cache plug-in in most cases so it all ends in tears. Free hosting, forget about it.

What I like about it is that it's very user friendly, even for novices, so its easy to customize a webpage without spending too much time.
