- napsterthug, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11That's the point of Digg. So a site has great articles.. does that mean we should stop posting from sites like these? Last time I checked Digg was a news, videos, podcast, everything/anything, aggregation site. Would kind of defeat the purpose if we stopped posting articles from SM, Engadget, CNN, TechCrunch, on and on.. just because they always have their articles posted.

Just because a blog looks great from the outside, doesn't mean its users are that much better off with a classy looking design. I'd much rather read great content on a white background with large black text than try to extrapolate an off purple text from a gradient yellow background. Please everyone keep it simple.

Changing up the detailing and color palette is the main differentiator between most of those sites.
- illahtech, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1These are all nice designs, but they're all in the same vein - i.e. 'bloggy' looking designer sites. Design is like fashion, and all of these blogs fall into the same niche if you know what I mean.
