Let the lawsuits begin! - BeyondVision, on 11/16/2009, -15/+86These are hilarious and VERY creative!
- fotoman607, on 11/10/2009, -3/+71The glass cleaner ad with the guy levitating the girl could also work as a viagra ad.
- Ac1115, on 11/10/2009, -8/+70A few of them were ok.
"Seriously Funny"? Not by a long shot. - BESTenemy, on 11/11/2009, -1/+59I thought I've seen this one somewhere else.
http://lolviagra.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/vi ... - immatellyouwhat, on 11/10/2009, -4/+46I like the part where all the ads were funny finally. DUGG.
- Ezrayan, on 11/11/2009, -0/+31did you read the fine print at the bottom?
They dont allow Swedes, South Koreans, or Norwegians either. - Nerfdude, on 11/11/2009, -4/+34ENGLISH ***** DO YOU SPEAK IT
- krymson, on 11/10/2009, -1/+29not gonna lie, that bench made me hungry for a kit kat.
- angrytortilla, on 11/11/2009, -0/+26Yes you should be sorry.
- Moralogic, on 11/11/2009, -0/+15I thought this was going to be really stupid, thankfully it wasn't, and was all on one page.
- jimmymcduck, on 11/10/2009, -2/+16http://rorr.im/digg.com/design/40_seriously_funny_ ...
just in case - thegamingguy, on 11/10/2009, -3/+17Nice collection of funny ads and also nice optical illusion-esque like the pepsi truck with floating cartons and the garden hose pole.
- hsadear, on 11/11/2009, -3/+15The Bloobs must be a new gang
- stuwanker, on 11/11/2009, -0/+11You roll with the Bloobs?
- vibr8, on 11/11/2009, -0/+10lol agreed i was, them advert is iraple mappy!
- justmeanddigg, on 11/11/2009, -6/+15Oh my god these ads aren't just funny they are SERIOUSLY funny! This post really should have been titled "funniest ads ever." This is some serious comedy.
- Spirods, on 11/11/2009, -2/+11why wouldnt they hire greeks? this is madness
- ftc08, on 11/11/2009, -5/+14I don't think BBDO knows what that means in America.
- stormgren, on 11/11/2009, -1/+9The McDonalds one seems like a bad idea. Should make that font a bit bigger at the bottom.
- c3rb85, on 11/10/2009, -18/+26Not going to lie, I didn't really find any of them funny.
- immatellyouwhat, on 11/11/2009, -0/+7OMG YOU JUST BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!1!1!1!!!!one!1!1!!!
- MonkeyFit, on 11/11/2009, -0/+7I often wonder how much work syntaxgs put into his posts when he started, and if it comes naturally now. Dugg for continuing to massacre the english language.
- wpf999, on 11/11/2009, -1/+7huh???? @syntaxgs your comment was more laughable than the ads.
- WinkyMcGee, on 11/11/2009, -3/+9No. THIS IS SPARTA.
- Nerfdude, on 11/11/2009, -0/+5the "blood" gang sign you're referring to is a little different, but.. yeah.
- plainOldFool, on 11/11/2009, -0/+4sereous lee
- Zylog, on 11/11/2009, -3/+7*takes out the smoking pipe*
Now, such a thing [lawsuits] would mostly happen in US. You see, we europeans have a sense of humour. - plainOldFool, on 11/11/2009, -0/+4He probably has a custom grease monkey script to "Sytaxgs" his posts.
- Praystation, on 11/11/2009, -1/+5A++ RECOMMENDED WOULD BUY AGAIN!!
- vibr8, on 11/11/2009, -0/+3i think the whole point is it resembles the blood sign isn't it?
- greenraincoat, on 11/12/2009, -0/+3Did anyone else notice the typo in #19, the McDonalds ad?
- FreckleEars, on 11/11/2009, -0/+3http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2009/08/40-absolut ...
Another one of their lists. Some pretty damn good ones here too. - vibr8, on 11/11/2009, -1/+4if i smirk at something online then its probably pretty funny. Usually I'll frown slightly and perhaps exhale a small parcel or air from my nostrils, before typing LOL
- Alienrace, on 11/11/2009, -0/+3I want those flip-flops!
- Nerfdude, on 11/11/2009, -4/+6I honestly didn't really find any of them funny. a smirk here and there, but most were pretty lame.
- booststrong, on 11/11/2009, -0/+2The "reality sucks" ads are really funny. Free Willy eating a human is sooo messed up, but really funny! I really like the creative interaction ads, such as the hand dryer or the Kit-Kat bench. I think that when consumers interact with ads, more memory retention and ad effectiveness is possible. Great article!
- cecilpl, on 11/11/2009, -0/+2What does that make the wax cylinder?
- jtk001c, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1Pretty sure they do; that's why they are running the ad.
- Bootrix2, on 11/11/2009, -1/+2They want the young boys to feel safe.
- quacker912, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1How often does this actually work?
- TalkGibberish, on 11/10/2009, -2/+3Seriously!
- Balanced, on 11/11/2009, -1/+2Funny, but many of these aren't really print ads.
- Stinkylicious, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1Somehow, the phrase "Fight Child Abuse" just sounds wrong.
- EnTaroTassadar, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1Actually, all of them ARE. They're either the original image or a scan from a newspaper/magazine, or a photograph like the billboards.
Bottom line is that all of them were printed, therefore, "Print ads". - kartika9, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1haha it's great, indeed.. wish to be inspired like that :)
- CahBagoes, on 11/14/2009, -0/+1yess, too funny...
- OCDrockstarr, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1"With as as many as..."
- Balanced, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1That's really not how the term is used. 'Print' is usually short for 'print media' which generally requires it be mass-produced (so 3 or 4 copies of a billboard don't count) and distributed in, well, print. It's like how jsut because you send a college paper to the laser printer in the computer lab you can say your paper was printed, but it's not really published.
#1-#3 look like they're print media.
#4 looks like a poster campaign.
#5-#8 no problem.
#9 is billboards, which are generally short enough run they're practically hand work.
#10 is fine.
#11 is, again, a billboard.
#12 - #13 are fine.
#14 is a wrap, it appears.
#15 looks like a print ad.
#16-#34 look like they're print ads.
#35 is a truck wrap.
#36 - #40 look fine.
Not too many that don't fit, but enough. - Necrid, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1Here is one more from colgate toothpaste
