- fantasyflamz, on 05/28/2008, -5/+35you're so punny...
- cephelo, on 05/28/2008, -5/+35Guh! Good UI Design says icons should be simple, concise, and immediately convey the meaning of a file or action. Icons, for example, generally follow the same tilt and perspective (2D vs 3D, 30 degree angle, etc). These small sets are nice for maybe 3 icons on your desktop or application launcher. Some of them are just downright terrible. (And no, I'm not saying I could do better, but there are FAR better sets out there! Tango, for example.)
- requiem3, on 05/28/2008, -4/+29Generic comment regarding generic comments.
- ligyron, on 05/28/2008, -4/+29Typical reply unrelated to parent in hopes of more people reading what I have to say about this article
- shawn1122, on 05/28/2008, -4/+29Typical comment about screencapping this and posting it as "This is why I love Digg.."
- JARSInc, on 05/28/2008, -2/+26Does it feel spammy in here to you? I feel a little spammy.
- bxblox, on 05/28/2008, -3/+26The reflections on "2) Onibari light" are pretty crappy
- sparsely, on 05/28/2008, -0/+19Ugh. It's not an icon set if there's only 3 icons. I hoped to find some decent replacements for some icons, but if my icons are just a mash of different styles, what's the point?
- somestranger26, on 05/28/2008, -4/+22Typical reply telling moron why they were buried.

- KMartSheriff, on 05/28/2008, -7/+18Dugg down comment due to racism.
- sparr, on 05/28/2008, -0/+9First, many of these "icon sets" are ONE icon, and a bunch more are 2-5. Mostly worthless unless you want an ugly jumble of different icon styles.
Second, a few of the larger sets are cool, particularly Aeon and Puck.
Third, Tango. http://tango.freedesktop.org/images/2/20/Tango-fee ... - cdawzrd, on 05/28/2008, -1/+10No love for Silk?

And by making a comment here, you're trying to stand out as an individual, nor are you doing work, which you claim to be using your computer for, unless you're getting paid to make hypocritical comments and look like a jackass. - pyroben92, on 05/28/2008, -3/+10ReasorceHacker.exe download it and then edit system32.dll .... - inactive, on 05/28/2008, -0/+5Maybe for an "information/work machine", they serve no purpose, but I hate stock icons in Windows. They're ugly as hell, and make me feel like I'm in 2003.
