- KMye, on 10/11/2007, -2/+113d pool art?? what a cruel joke.
"Sorry Jimmy, I /know/ our backyard is big enough for a pool, but daddy I thought it would be a hoot to digg a 1-ft deep fake pool rim and then put in tiles that make it /look/ like a pool! It'll only cost $5500 instead of $7000, and when it gets hot in the summer you can sit out in the middle of it and pretend you're swimming with the turtles!" - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8damned cool effects! Dugg!
- britblogger, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5dugg for not being another ***** Bush/Cheney/Giuliani topic.

- chibimmy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Every post is a repost, repost.
Not that I don't enjoy it. - Troopy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2It would have been nice on all of them to have had a real person standing in front of all of them to gain better perspective.
- LucasVB, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2The artist of the first set is Eric Grohe. More on his website: http://www.ericgrohemurals.com/
I actually uploaded his website to digg quite a few months ago: http://digg.com/offbeat_news/Realistic_3D_painting ... - ntdesign, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Here's another: http://inquebeccity.com/mural.htm
- ostracize, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2*Insert additional generic comment*
Seriously, why are there so many comments like this one getting dugg up? Why can't we digg up people who contribute something useful?
(okay, fine, bury me...) - TheLoneHoot, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The first picture is not his - it's by an artist named Blue Sky. The piece is next to (or used to be at least) Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC. The sun in the picture is illuminated slightly so that it really glows like a setting (or rising?) sun. Believe me, it's a much more stunning effect in person. "Tunnelvision" is one of my all time favorite murals period.
- doctorbasic, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Philadelphia's murals blow. Nothing is as good as these. Which cities are they? Anyone live within any of them?
- sd12013, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0So. Dang, I hate when people whine that they posted something first. So freaking what. Isn't the point that we end up at the content?
- meachen, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2buried......for being from 1989
