I am sorry you don't like the images and techniques but don't crush others creative prowess as a cover for the lack of your own. If you don't like the images and the tutorials why the ***** did you even look at the item and, even worse, comment on it? Don't like it, don't read it, move on to something else.

Most of the 'pussies' to which you refer use the tools available to them to create images for their profession. I do this and feel it is a better use of my time and allows me to make more money than spending hours or days trying to figure out a way to 'brute force' an effect. To bad you are to narrow minded and creatively ignorant to see that as a viable solution.

I just don't think any of the photos looked better after the "effects" were applied. Especially number three - it's a good portrait before hand, but it just looks boring afterwards. Number eight? They ruined the fact that it was an "environmental" portrait by adding the goofy colors. Number twenty three looks nothing like what the author was basing it off of.
I honestly cannot imagine why "Desaturated Gothic Look" tutorials would reach the front page.

Fullish punk some ppl here actually like tutorials so eat 1900+ diggs for this post in your face - lukak, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1I can honestly say that most of these 'photo effects' killed decent photographs. Case in point, Backstreet boys wannabe kid photograph raped using desaturate and gradient fills. Not the greatest photograph subject wise originally, but it's like making an average sponge cake then ***** on it.
