It's psychological just as the colors yellow and red invoke a hunger psychological response. Ever wonder why all the TV dinner boxes at the grocery star are either red, yellow, or a combination of both? Or even the colors of fast food logos and corporate design? Same principle.

I'm kind of getting tired of the overused web2.0 trend in site design. I mean less in terms of the structure of layouts, more in terms of the styles used everywhere. The color dodging, the smooth gradients on everything, the combination of sans-serifs and rounded brush scripts, the gloss.
