- billbuckner, on 06/29/2008, -27/+152PETA = tasty.
- 883XL, on 06/29/2008, -3/+126I swear I'll never eat human again.
- Omek, on 06/28/2008, -9/+126Whoa... where was that Kill Bill ad at? That's sweet! I like the shoe car too... nice.
- KanyesBest, on 06/29/2008, -12/+124The PETA ones really creep me out...
- Namaha, on 06/29/2008, -3/+99What about that security glass advertisement?
http://www.actuarialnews.org/archives/3mmoneyglass ... - saltydawkins, on 06/29/2008, -6/+80Meat is murder!!!!!
... tasty, tasty murder. - thewindpath, on 06/29/2008, -1/+67What the hell is hopi hari?
- Renostyle, on 06/29/2008, -5/+62PETA makes me ashamed of being vegetarian.
They just reinforce the stereotype that vegetarians are out of their damn minds.
Which is totally true, of course, but most of us aren't so militant about it.
Most of us realize being that way actually causes a major backlash against it.
- draterrojam, on 06/29/2008, -20/+70is it weird the PETA one made me hungry?...I'm just sayin....
- Sbebo, on 06/29/2008, -10/+59***** PETA.
The thing that i don't understand is how they want people to stop eating meat. Lions eat meat. Whales eat meat. Even those cute ***** dolphins that they protest for eat meat. Now why in the ***** world can't we humans eat meat?
I have to say, it's clever advertising, but I just think the idea is flawed. - sovietninja, on 06/29/2008, -2/+49Something similar happened to me once, I was eating a hamburger and just walking down the street when some crazy peta person came up to me and said that eating meat meant that I was sacrificing a small part of my humanity. That I should only eat meat that I killed with my own hands. I found this threatening and I got in one little fight and my mom got scared, And said "you're moving with your aunt and uncle in Bel-Air".
- lpxxfaintxx2, on 06/29/2008, -35/+80I like my steak, thank you very much. PETA = bunch of pussies.
- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -35/+77PETA can go ***** die, there is absolutely nothing wrong with eating meat. ***** those stupid tools.
- rdldr1, on 06/29/2008, -29/+67All of them are great ads except for the queer PETA ones.
- tallguyg, on 06/29/2008, -4/+41creepy people tend to do that...
- philberttheduck, on 06/29/2008, -3/+35a plant is a living thing. peta murderers..
- sonar1, on 06/29/2008, -12/+40i call shenanigans on the kill bill one.
- WoollyMittens, on 06/29/2008, -8/+35It's not a very good idea to promote PETA even inderectly, since PETA killed more than 90% of the animals in its care in 2007 - www.petakillsanimals.com
- enzobot24, on 06/29/2008, -5/+31Are you serious? Sacrificing part of your soul?
We are the only apes with a digestive enzyme that processes meat efficiently. All other apes get dangerously high cholesterol from eating meat i.e., they can die from it. We were meant to eat it; it's in our DNA...
What you're saying is condescending: people that hunt have less soul than you do. Please. My grandfather hunted rabbits and made stew - is he your inferior? Nature is just as "ruthless" as us. And, like it or not, we were/are part of the ecosystem. - bixby1, on 06/29/2008, -4/+29I lol'd at the soccer ball. I wanna meet the drunk hooligan architect who thought that up.
- VelvetoneFusion, on 06/29/2008, -4/+29I'd pay $785 to keep her...
- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -1/+24That razor ad was cool.
- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -3/+26What if I love vegetables more than I love animals? I can eat meat without sacrificing this part of my soul then right? You're a soulless bastard for eating that lettuce!
- desertDenizen, on 06/29/2008, -1/+23I actually thought this PETA stunt was pretty artistic. There's nothing wrong with making people think, even if they disagree at the end of the day.
- fxu1989, on 06/29/2008, -0/+19...or a black guy.
oh sh- - maximumsteve1, on 06/29/2008, -5/+24Uh, not only is meat tasty, I also take pride in the fact that i'm reaffirming my role as being top of the food chain.
- HolyMan28, on 06/29/2008, -0/+17..or a unicorn.
- maximumsteve1, on 06/29/2008, -1/+17whoa, thanks for copying and posting the same comment from the blog site toby....

wait.. wrong thread -_- - Flamekebab, on 06/29/2008, -5/+20I've killed animals, not just with a rifle (although I've done that too), no, with my bare hands. Does that make me soul-less? Because I like to eat meat, I can gladly face what needs to be done for there to be food. Your sentimentalism seems childish to me - "a cute sheep"? Have you ever farmed sheep?
"If you can cut the throat of a chicken with your own hands and watch it go crazy, splashing blood all over the place and still want to eat meat, then you have the right to eat it. And dont try to play it tough and ***** and assume that you can actually do it."
Uh, of course I can. Except why would I "cut its throat" ? Break its neck maybe, or use a cleaver. Bam, job done.
Splashing blood all over the place? Jesus, listen to yourself. ***** your propaganda. - CarStan, on 06/29/2008, -3/+16Animals have rights too!
For example the right to be tasty. - LessThanDan, on 06/29/2008, -0/+13The Kill Bill 2 advertisement is actually quite feasible. The blood-sprayed cars parked next to the billboard would have obviously been planted there by the marketing agency, just like any other prop as part of the setup.
- cschoeps, on 06/29/2008, -1/+14Do you know what they do to those chickens!?
No, but it's delicious...
**Jim Gaffigan** - ninja0, on 06/29/2008, -0/+13come on there must be a way through that though. bring a drill and a jigsaw, im sure it can be broken ;)
- marx2k, on 06/29/2008, -2/+14Not unless you go out there and kill it yourself.
- Renostyle, on 06/29/2008, -1/+13I'm a vegetarian and I agree that PETA sucks.
I practically get hatecrimed on all the time by "fellow" vegetarians and vegans (who, ironically, are the least compassionate and least open minded) because I freely admit the only basis one can really argue in favor of vegetarianism is an ethical one, and not everyone shares the same ethics as me.
- ThankTheCheese, on 06/29/2008, -2/+14I'm all for PETA pushing the humane treatment of animals and rescuing neglected pets etc., but I really wish they wouldn't try to convert everyone to vegetarianism.
That's like trying to convert a straight person to being gay -- it just isn't going to happen, and I'd prefer to spent their time and energy on the animals that they can help. - socoolisme, on 06/29/2008, -11/+23I thought it was kind of sexy.
- slurba, on 06/29/2008, -3/+14***** PETA
Not because they criticize us for eating meat when animals do it all the time, but for burning down research facilities that save people's lives. People > Animals when it comes to survival (and no, your hamburgers and bacon aren't required for survival). I pretty much agree with xNIBx but there are enough reasons to still hate them, another being the vice president gets insulin products that were made using research done on cows. For more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMJVnTYxHVc
This doesn't mean I don't support animal's rights, I just don't support stupid-ass organizations. - sonar1, on 06/29/2008, -0/+11yeaa but the licensing for blood on the street, sidewalk, taking up some parking spaces, it seemed unlikely till i found other angles of it....

- Akaji, on 06/29/2008, -0/+11Then you'd be eating THEIR CHILDREN! What kind of a monster are you‽
- stoikiometry, on 06/29/2008, -2/+13Who said you can't play with your food before you eat it?
Damn, that's nasty. - sovietninja, on 06/29/2008, -1/+11I found this sickening and shocking, "Dana Cheek, the former (and most recent) director of the Norfolk SPCA, wrote to us recently:
I often receive phone calls from frantic people who have surrendered their pets to PETA with the understanding that PETA will "find them a good home." Many of them are led to believe that the animals will be taken to a nearby shelter. Little do they know that the pets are killed in the PETA van before they even pull away from the pet owner's home … PETA refuses to surrender animals they obtain to area shelters for rehoming. If only the celebrity "deep-pocket" donors on the west coast knew that their donations were going to kill adoptable cats and dogs here in Norfolk."
Sometimes people cannot take loved pets with them and cannot find a home for them. These people trusted PETA since they "love" animals. It's one thing to kill a chicken for food, but killing someone's pet is just ***** up. We should throw them into a volcano. - Zincyams, on 06/29/2008, -1/+11People who work for PETA tend to creep me out.
- AdibT, on 06/29/2008, -5/+15I love animals, they taste so good!
- Cenobite, on 06/29/2008, -2/+12If god didn't want us to eat animals, he wouldn't have made them so delicious.
