Now that's Irony for you! - harsh1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Matt Cutts commented on this one on seoegghead:
Nice “Cliff’s Notes” summary. :) On #17, I viewed that post as more describing the difference between a 301 and 302–use a 302 for temporary moves, and if a move is permanent, use a 301.
Otherwise, I liked your summaries. - Timmer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Really great read! So much of what matt says isn't about SEO, it's nice to see someone go back and find all the stuff he said about ranking in google.
- gd007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1good tips!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1More importantly, the "horse" is not interested in you ranking well by manipulating the system. There are several things in here that are listed which look like scare tactics...
"those of you using sneaky javascript redirects better beware..." kind of stuff.
The real question is this...
Who does better on a standardized test? The person who pays attention in class, or the person who has taken the exact test a hundred times before? That is what you pay for with a good SEO company. They took the class and they will tell you what the teacher won't. Because, in the business world, if you don't pass the test, you go out of business. - mikedoth, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1Exactly.

http://netgonecrazy.com - davidgid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have been reading Matt's blog for a few months now. Matter of fact a month or so ago I started at his first SEO blog entry and read all the way through the category. Good idea in consolidating some of his better seo tips.

- regtools, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd be interested to know what everyone else things about underscores vs dashes. I was just about to go and change this for all of my sites (which would be a lot of hassle of course) ... when I noticed that digg uses underscores and google does seem to like digg.
