- Swerengen, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2the fountain most times has an inner tube (plastic) that runs up the core of the water spout - water is pumped up this core and then falls out of the outer edges creating the endless tap impression. the plastic core also acts as a stabilizer for the tap itself to finish the illusion.
