- CataKlysmiC, on 07/21/2008, -0/+5Pyramids anyone?
- phoomp, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Well, the pyramids never actually moved, though they were constructed through a massive effort of movement. I guess if the moving skyscraper can make the list, the pyramids should as well.
- dthebear, on 07/21/2008, -0/+11dubai's new dynamic building is pretty ***** intense
- RealmDown, on 07/22/2008, -2/+3Actually, no one has been in it yet, so that makes it pretty virgin intense.
- sooperspook, on 07/22/2008, -1/+0...

- AmyVernon, on 07/22/2008, -4/+2these are so cool. i love this stuff...
- alapoet, on 07/22/2008, -1/+6Amazing, that they can move things that are so big!
Over the weekend, I visited a little town on Puget Sound and one of the houses there had been moved, in one piece, from the other side of the Sound -- and this had happened 80 years ago! (They apparently used a barge.) - Babblin5, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1bajeebus! Seeing that would scare the crap out of me...
- drewbudd, on 07/22/2008, -0/+7The music for the video of the Dubai tower scares me too much to want to live in it.
They also make it look like its going to be swinging around like crazy.
I bet you are gonna have to go underground to even get in the building since the bottom parts move, unless they want you to chase the door around.- jhandfield, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1That takes the "Hey, you want a ride?" *vroom* prank to a whole new level.
(No, I can't think of a better name for it than that, but you know what I mean. :-P) - Faasnat, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Gives new meaning to revolving door huh?
- sooperspook, on 07/22/2008, -0/+0No kidding about the music. I half expected to see Christian Bale dual wielding pistols to crash through one of the windows.

- DanBoodro, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1WebUrbanist has been coming out with some pretty good stuff lately.
- zadadka, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2I used to work for Foster Wheeler and saw several large petrochem structures being moved on refinery visits.....it always impressed me, particularly the one guy walking behind with a cabled remote control with around 50 servo controls on it.
- Duositex, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1One guy had the remote? What if he trips or something and smashes his forehead on the controls. Oops.
- Veggeh, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Most remotes controlling large machinery have dead man's switches
- VandyB, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Ok so two guys hold the control, twice the chance of a ***** up.
- Duositex, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1One guy had the remote? What if he trips or something and smashes his forehead on the controls. Oops.
- ftyuv, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Mirror or it didn't happen.
- ursername180, on 07/22/2008, -1/+2Does it make me a bad person expecting 9/11 in there?
- Thedaymusicdied, on 07/22/2008, -1/+0The hover car needs more barrel roll
- projectmobius, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1i've gotta visit dubai for the sake of its architectural achievements
- Kanten, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2How does a list like this forget the Cape Hatteras lighthouse?
- borez, on 07/22/2008, -0/+4It fails to mention that Robert McCulloch ( the guy who bought and moved London bridge ) actually thought he'd been sold the vastly more impressive Tower Bridge. Although he always denied this ( well he would wouldn't he ) , it's a story that gets told over and over again by Londoners.
- brianfischer, on 07/22/2008, -0/+5Anyone see the man that is re-creating Stone Henge with no modern tools?? This is amazing!
- jrattner1, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1The car flying at the end should be number 1
- silentlaw, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2I suspect Carmen Sandiego's invovlement here.
- blader1125, on 07/23/2008, -0/+0Dugg for the sonehenge movie... amazing
- larrybolt, on 07/24/2008, -0/+0I wonder if they could also move the "eiffel tower" in France like that..
- theadvinci, on 08/02/2008, -0/+1People are moving buildings and I can't move my ass to get a beer. Pathetic.
