I would be curious to sell what trade sales of Bendis work is before his runs on Ultimate Spider-man are. Torso was ten years ago, and I imagine that sales have increased over time, which most likely a direct result of Bendis's Marvel work.
Kirkman's point about internet and real numbers being constantly off was missed. He is right, the numbers don't really matter, it is the trend that matters. Both graph lines matched.
I think the most important part of the Kirkman video and he address it at the end of this video, is the lack of new readers, namely kids, coming into comics.
