Well what the hell? - inactive, on 09/17/2008, -6/+115I never realized that www.youporn.com that I do the www.megarotic.com exact same thing.
- HappyDonut, on 09/17/2008, -0/+72I dunno Mr. Takua108,
after all the bitching we do about how his comics aren't funny, i'm not that surprised. - takua108, on 09/17/2008, -9/+73Digg just got the cold shoulder.
- nobody2k, on 09/17/2008, -3/+59Reddit is Digg with glasses.
reference: http://tolppa.apina.biz/3346.jpg - noseeme, on 09/17/2008, -0/+51Because Digg has turned to *****.
- trogdoor, on 09/17/2008, -10/+58http://www.*****.com/
- spect3r, on 09/17/2008, -13/+60OMG HE DIDNT MENTION DIGG DOT COM
WAT - iBleeedOrange, on 09/17/2008, -8/+54Some one doesn't like 4ch- I mean digg
- Beefstyles, on 09/17/2008, -0/+39He uses reddit, but not digg.
http://www.reddit.com/user/xkcd - takua108, on 09/17/2008, -6/+39After all the love we give Mr. Munroe, you'd think he'd show a little back.
- MidnightRIder77, on 09/17/2008, -3/+33Grandmoms are wonderful people. They're like parents, except they are willing to buy your love, and actually know how to cook.
- kawaiirobo, on 09/17/2008, -2/+30well this is Awkward......
- Verz, on 09/17/2008, -1/+27That is because Digg sucks. Think about it: All it has become is a pretty marketing site. It's not a social networking site anymore. Unless you constantly add friends and play the algorithm, your submissions are not going to get anywhere. Especially this one. Half of xkcd's submission comments are complaints that it sucks, and the other half now is that it didn't mention Digg.
On Reddit, however...
PS. I just signed in after some months of not being on here to see all of you guys BAWWW at this one. - thelif, on 09/17/2008, -1/+21Pretty redundant, draw XKCD then come to digg to look at XKCD?
- Nescirian, on 09/17/2008, -2/+18http://www.*****.com/
- noseeme, on 09/17/2008, -0/+15Because it sucks these days. For someone like Munroe to say he uses Digg would be embarrassing. I'm sure he doesn't look at it.
- MelroseMan, on 09/17/2008, -1/+15Want to see what will be on digg tomorrow? Check reddit.
- spanner, on 09/17/2008, -2/+15Admit it Diggers, Digg is not as hot as you think it is, that you are upset at not being mentioned in a cartoon is just indicative of how far its fallen.
- iofthestorm, on 09/17/2008, -1/+13Dugg for skipping digg, the quality of the content sucks these days. Of course I still come here anyway, but I hardly click on any stories anymore.
- ThinkBox, on 09/17/2008, -0/+11Um, no. Just no. Just because you dont think something is popular on digg - doesnt mean it isnt popular. The internet is a big place... dont be so close minded.
- noseeme, on 09/17/2008, -0/+10I hope that was sarcasm.
- inactive, on 09/17/2008, -13/+23Um. Am I the only one that didn't find this funny?
- Verz, on 09/17/2008, -0/+8No. No you did not.
- phr0stbyte, on 09/17/2008, -0/+8sooner it hits the front page the sooner it can leave?
- SeaFour, on 09/17/2008, -4/+12xkcd is supposed to be funny? I thought it was just supposed to be pretentious.
- sobe86, on 09/17/2008, -1/+8For me, the major difference is the comment pages. Some of the Reddit threads are the best I've seen anywhere on the internet. They're like the anti-youtube of comments, often they're better than the article they're talking about. With digg on the other hand, it's just whoever can be bothered to comment on an story before it gets popular who get the most diggs, not the funniest or most insightful observations. In a typical digg comments section you have to scroll down through so much crap if you want to find good comments.
- chillypacman, on 09/17/2008, -3/+9digg just isn't political enough.
- Hooke, on 09/17/2008, -1/+7This one is not good.
- Roger, on 09/17/2008, -4/+10Digg is reddit with idiots.
- SuperIntendent, on 09/17/2008, -1/+7Oh I see whatcha did there
- whataSAMF, on 11/28/2008, -0/+5sometimes i type in 'google' as my facebook password unintentionally.
- Jordan117, on 09/17/2008, -0/+5Same here, and for good reason. The methodology is much more sophisticated than most other pollwatching sites, the writing is funny and relevant, and the design is efficient and easy on the eyes.
If you're following the election season as closely as I am, you've got to keep an eye on fivethirtyeight.com - Le3f, on 09/17/2008, -0/+4When you remember what digg once was, it's no wonder you would hate what this place has become.
- Archer007, on 09/17/2008, -1/+4We're recursive like that.
- inactive, on 09/17/2008, -7/+10At first I was like "Hmm...I don't get it."
Then I read the caption at the bottom and realized he knew the joke was so bad he'd have to explain it. - mikebaldwin67, on 09/17/2008, -9/+12Possibly the worst one of these yet.
- mGARANDEUR1, on 09/17/2008, -0/+3XKCD comics are just lame. For a real good laugh, PhD comics are much better.
- Le3f, on 09/17/2008, -0/+3Noooo... we don't want the diggers...
- noahgelman, on 09/17/2008, -6/+9Well you're the only one
- ThinkBox, on 09/17/2008, -1/+4Full of yourself, much?
- chillypacman, on 09/17/2008, -0/+3noseeme, been to reddit lately?
- vinnythekidd, on 09/17/2008, -0/+3reddit>Digg. Just that simple.
- MelroseMan, on 09/17/2008, -2/+4It's weird that you say that when 3 people dugg him.
- lukis100, on 09/17/2008, -0/+2And somebody probably submitted it before you.
- crossmr, on 09/17/2008, -5/+7exactly the comics aren't funny and we still take the time to digg them and promote them, thats worth more than a little back..
- inactive, on 09/17/2008, -3/+5Hmm, there's quite a few good articles there..
- vinnythekidd, on 09/17/2008, -4/+6XKCD is crap. It's hit or miss and this is one of the major miss'... Abstruse Goose is way the ***** better: "I'm not tryin' to be your daddy, I'm just banging your mom" ;)
- Gherald, on 09/17/2008, -4/+6dugg for fivethirtyeight.com , I'm a fraking addict
