- teh_techie, on 05/07/2008, -17/+7Maybe not! What if the point of the fish floating in the air is to show the guy that breathing water ain't all it's cracked up to be, and that he should re-consider his next move...

- bicyclethief, on 05/07/2008, -7/+128You sure know how the humor.
- romistrub, on 05/07/2008, -2/+76I don't understand what that sentence means, but I think I know what you're getting at. Dugg.
- bicyclethief, on 05/07/2008, -3/+52Sorry, I was distracted. It's funny that everyone still knew I meant:
You sure know how to kill the humor.- Fooord, on 05/07/2008, -0/+58Actually I just thought what you said was so akwardly put that it was funny...
- celkin, on 05/08/2008, -0/+16No I'm doesn't.
- fxspec06, on 05/08/2008, -2/+1It doesn't work when you try. I don't think
- Nowaiman, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Am does work am do try.
- LoveAndSeagulls, on 05/08/2008, -0/+17this truly is a remarkable digg phenomenon
you wrote a sentence that made very little sense and still got dugg up like crazy...
hm - vulminiha, on 05/08/2008, -2/+6In this thread: Missing words sentences
- aceakm, on 05/08/2008, -5/+1Missing words sentences? You mean Sentences missing words? Owned.

- datagod, on 05/08/2008, -1/+16In Soviet Russia, you!
- Nowaiman, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1You guys are the bad ridiculous.
- leetninja, on 05/07/2008, -4/+210more importantly how did the inflate it with helium?
- breckinshire, on 05/07/2008, -13/+9Maybe it's hydrogen - tons of it down there.
- noseeme, on 05/07/2008, -2/+137It's hydrogen. It asked its friend the electric eel to perform hydrolysis on the seawater, and collected the hydrogen.
- spidoman, on 05/07/2008, -0/+62duh.
- zakatov, on 05/08/2008, -7/+1ignoring the fact that electric eels use electricity to kill fish, not help them. oh well.
- yacks, on 05/08/2008, -0/+1@zakatov:
That would make it homicide as opposed to assisted suicide.. so..
- identityxcrysis, on 05/07/2008, -13/+2Doesn't need to be filled with helium. Just filling it with the fish's own breath would make it able to float up out of the water. Fill a balloon with just carbon dioxide from your body and it's still difficult to hold underwater.
- ers35, on 05/07/2008, -0/+34Since the balloon continued floating after it exited the water, it could not have been filled with carbon dioxide.
- metateck, on 05/07/2008, -0/+18Also, fish don't have breath.
- identityxcrysis, on 05/07/2008, -4/+1Hush hush, it just happened to pop up, maybe it'll fall back down :D
- MISking, on 05/07/2008, -0/+17yeah, but the balloon is out of the water floating in air, therefore the gas in the balloon is lighter than air
- metateck, on 05/07/2008, -1/+6Also, fish don't have breath.
- SolitarySoviet, on 05/08/2008, -0/+1or the speed of ascent brought it above water, like a submarine or whale.
- fatlip, on 05/07/2008, -0/+8not to mention a fish's respiratory output isnt a gas
water balloons? - Matteos, on 05/07/2008, -3/+5It's a cartoon.
- metateck, on 05/07/2008, -5/+4Also, fish don't have breath.
- ers35, on 05/07/2008, -0/+34Since the balloon continued floating after it exited the water, it could not have been filled with carbon dioxide.

- Maddoktor2, on 05/08/2008, -0/+1ow.
- Nowaiman, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1that's what said
- Brainmodder, on 05/08/2008, -0/+1Or, the lifting gas could be methane, which is also lighter than air and present in clathrate deposits.
- stilesja, on 05/08/2008, -0/+3You don't see it, but just before this comic happened, a Clown committed suicide by strapping himself to his helium tank and dropping it in the water.
- MattFid, on 05/07/2008, -8/+2...and helium?
- subxero37, on 05/07/2008, -1/+59Where'd you get the coconuts?!

- PoopOnPaul, on 05/08/2008, -2/+0You know, you'd think someone would have made a Firefox plugin by now that tells you whenever a link has been identified as a Rickroll by a significant number of other users or something.
Then again, I'm glad they haven't, I'm a fan of a good Rickroll
Or...someone could do the ultimate, and make a fake one of those plugins...that actually makes every link you click into a Rickroll!- xcvbn, on 05/08/2008, -0/+2subscribe to the rickroll data base, rickrolldb.com , and use adblock plus plugin.

Despite the fact that you didn't come up with those, they're out of context, and have been said a million times IN context, you still want everyone to think you're cool. Jesus ***** christ.

- Modestexcuse, on 05/07/2008, -3/+1Too bad you're all assuming the balloon is rising. How are you to know that it is not falling, with nothing but air in it, or even water?

- Synyk, on 05/08/2008, -1/+1fish don't fall faster than balloons.... and water droplets could still fall even if the fish was falling.... and the string WOULD be taut if the balloon was filled with air, because it would be trying to rise but the fish's weight would pull it down (hence why droplets would fall at a faster rate).
...and I'm no rocket scientist... -_-- zspeed78, on 05/08/2008, -0/+2Fish DO fall faster than balloons.. they get pulled with the same force of gravity, but a fish would fall faster because of drag. In case you dont believe me, drop a brick and a balloon off your roof.. the brick falls very fast.. while a balloon might take 2-3 seconds to fall.
