- mstachiw, on 08/21/2008, -1/+31where's The Adventures of Mark Twain?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ak3z2Pm7Iwg - BlockedUser, on 08/20/2008, -0/+24The first two were like "yeah yeah.."
But that last one was like "*****?" - skabyss, on 08/21/2008, -0/+13Because that was a cartoon, wasn't it *****?
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -5/+17It's amazing how many things out there that will scare kids. I saw a 9 year old at the theater for "Dark Knight" the other day. Great movie but come on. Just a tad violent for a child. And yet Disney advertised on Egotastic! Love it.
- gbarberi, on 08/22/2008, -2/+12How about we bury all three of you and forget this thread ever existed?
- dubhglais, on 08/22/2008, -0/+9OMFG. That still disturbs me to this day. *shudders*
- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -1/+9I remember going through a period when I was young where I was scared of a movie. I watched 'Candyman', a film that honestly isn't that scary, and I was terrified by it. I was afraid of the washroom mirror for a few months. I even had my Grandmother go and turn on the light for me before I went in for a week. Since my Grandparents are from the 1930's, they used to taunt me, and try and scare me about it, and used to bluntly say I was being a chicken *****. I grew out of it, and grew up in the process. Hell, I think kids should be horrified when they're young by something, and pushed to grow out of it! How else would I have learned to deal with unnecessary fears? When I'm adult under a therapist? Screw that, I have a life to live.
- insinuate, on 08/22/2008, -0/+83 weeks old, yeah I'm sure you caught and remembered all of it.
- Tyrghast, on 08/22/2008, -0/+8Alice in Wonderland.
- RoflCoptah, on 08/21/2008, -1/+8vincent is such a super emo
- colasrtney, on 08/22/2008, -0/+7Kids? David Lynch's *anything* scares me.
- carbonfree314, on 08/20/2008, -0/+6The Alphabet one wasn't creepy. It was way overdone. I guess teh interbutts has removed all ability to be disturbed.
- fightingforair, on 08/22/2008, -0/+6Maybe someone mentioned it already here, but where is "Watership Down"? Great cartoon about a great novel, but wow did it scare me as a child. Rabbits tearing each others throats. Never looked the same at at rabbits again.
- NoMercy, on 08/22/2008, -0/+5did anyone else get nightmares from "little nemo" that black ***** scared the ***** out of me
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104740/ - Zarokima, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4Even in real life they're not all fuzzy-lovey. My uncle had one that was ***** MEAN. And it had been won from some Easter thing at the lake from a pet store, so it wasn't a wild one or anything. After it attacked the dog (little Pomeranian, still has a scar on her side) we just decided to eat it. Its flavor was much better than its attitude.
- Mootabolife, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4Just because it's animated, doesn't make it a cartoon. You might need counseling.
- Tomamama, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4Four words: Courage the Cowardly Dog. My friends and I seem to mention how legitimately creepy the show was at least once a month.
- Darkaged, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4Show me on the doll.
- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3i once wore a helmet while riding a bike..
my girlfriend left me, i got mauled by a badger and then i got cancer.
just sayin - quarkie, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3I gotta agree with this. I saw movies like that all the time as a kid - in the comfort of my own home until my parents knew I was mature enough to take me to see them in the theatre.
- ZackScott, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3Seriously, as a kid, I spent a lot of time at my uncle's house and he showed me creepier cartoons than this. But hey, some people would rather spin women and chase chickens rather than the other way around.
- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3I had a Winnie the Pooh VHS where Rabbit was lost in the woods. I think it was Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too. Anyways, I would feel so scared for Rabbit that I'd hide in between the couch and my wall.
- hillaryj, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3Not really a cartoon, but Willie Wonka in the Chocolate Factory from the 70's. I saw it again recently and realized it looks like they're on an acid trip the whole time. name something scarier than an acid trip.
besides a 3rd term of George Bush. - bagboyrebel, on 08/22/2008, -1/+4"I bet your the one that says kids MUST wear a helmet riding a bike"
sorry, but everyone should wear a helmet on a bike, I don't care how good you think you are but you can't account for everyone else. - Puppetfunk, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3Your uncle and you sat alone and watched his collection of special cartoons? That's pretty creepy.
- nevetssav, on 08/22/2008, -4/+7Clearly it made you a tool, though.
- Tyrghast, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3I saw that for the first time a couple months ago and I shat my pants.
- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3What the ***** was with the last one? I had to turn on the lights after watchin' that... Can someone say "L-S-D"?
- AManWithNoName, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3The Brave Little Toaster. Between the exploding air conditioner, the junkyard euthenasia, and the sick demented chop shop, that movie would make any child ***** brix.
- bootie, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2Mark Twain's voice is Brooks from Shawshank Redemption....get busy living or get busy dying
- poet, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2A poor work of satire you have created. In doing so, you are being blocked by multiple users. Aren't you lucky?!?! (That last sentence was sarcasm, in case you need an example of what sarcasm actually is.)
- steveoco, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2what about this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pq3EsyotORM The cat with hands
- Tyrghast, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2He has access to good drugs it would seem...
- roebeet, on 08/22/2008, -2/+4That was me with my kid. Suck it up.
- ThenWang, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2chainsaw maid
- insinuate, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2wow. *****. I learn a new word from Digg everyday.
- spootmonkey, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2My grandma had that movie when I was a kid..scarred the hell out of me.
- yeahaboutthat, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2When I was a kid, I was totally freaked out by an old Bugs Bunny cartoon--the one where he is sleeping, and floats out of his rabbit hole and into the lab of a mad scientist who needs a brain for his giant monster. It absolutely gave me nightmares, but each time it was on, I'd still watch it, terrified and fascinated at the same time.
- leif777, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1that was teh awesome...
- toothcake, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1I was about to go to sleep before I watched the third movie. Now if I have a dream of a girl singing the alphabet, I'm going to tweak on you Mr. Babyman.
- ASSASSYN360, on 08/23/2008, -0/+1Wow...you are an idiot.
- leif777, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1***** AWESOME book... and yes, that cartoon freaked me out
- poet, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1What grade are you in now? 5th? 6th?
- poet, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1@total1337ness: Aside from your newb name, you are true about "It". Perhaps the only thing that scared me as a child. I don't float paper boats down gutters anymore.
- JT114881, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1I think everyone should read that book. Watership Down - Richard Adams
- Arxilca, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1It freaked me out to no end as a kid (especially the black stuff and when Nemo sees the king he helped kill in the water) but I found it recently and my sister and I watched it. It wasn't as messed up as we remembered and frankly, I was a little disappointed about that.
- HoodsDream, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1Can anyone say Joker from LSD
- HoodsDream, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1stfu
- LucerinRed, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1Higurashi no naku koro ni has got to be one of the creepiest animations ever. Zomg the skull bashing brought on by cute, innocent-looking preteen girls.
- jax9999, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1pfft, molly coddles youngsters. Now I can name a few cartoons that would ***** you up.
Watership down. The rabbits so weren't fluffy bunnies, they were brutal animals and it showed.
