- dfsjdkflasjk, on 06/06/2008, -2/+9Don't see anything racist about that. Mind pointing out what racial thinking came across your mind while reading that comment?
- PotatoSalad, on 06/06/2008, -2/+4racism: a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
How is his comment racist?
prejudice: an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.
That sounds more like what you just did. - apoc06, on 06/06/2008, -1/+9sorry, but being ghetto is not indicative of any particular race.
- lamiaconfitor, on 06/06/2008, -0/+7True, who is burying this guy? it can be ANY race that is separated into its own little niche area. by will or by force.
- blackinthmiddle, on 06/06/2008, -3/+2Really? Have you truly heard the word "ghetto" being used to describe anyone other than black people?

- HoratioHellpop, on 06/06/2008, -1/+0sterntastic is just echoing the mamby-pamby liberal retardedness that festers in Digg on a daily basis.
- Trykt, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1Digg may be pretty liberal but he's obviously taken the retardedness too far.
I think if something offends you, maybe you should stop to consider whether that is in fact your own fault.

- SaladCactusKing, on 06/06/2008, -0/+3Blame Lindelof. He was too busy writing Lost to pull off what he committed to. Recently, he turned in the final script, but now the artist Leinil Yu is drawing a ***** of other stuff like "Secret Invasion."

What is there to tell after Wolverine gets RIPPED IN HALF?
That ***** ***** up.- yawaramin, on 06/06/2008, -17/+3Actually, I'm pretty sure it's ripped in two. Ripped in half is, I presume, divided by half, or in other words, multiplied by two.
- Seemefearme, on 06/06/2008, -0/+4Very wrong...
- Phych, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1Think less.
- yawaramin, on 06/15/2008, -0/+1To the `think less' crowd: how about you donate your brains to a better use, since you don't seem to have any need for them? You should get along fine with just your spinal cords.
- roastnewt1, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2But wolverine can regenerate from pretty much anything. He just needed to find his lower half and pull himself back together.
- blackinthmiddle, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2I doubt that he could recover from being ripped in half. His organs (minus his adamantium) could regenerate. Not sure about his spine. At the minimum, he'd have to have surgery to remove the broken adamantium and replace it, like when magneto ripped his adamantium off of his bones.
- yawaramin, on 06/06/2008, -17/+3Actually, I'm pretty sure it's ripped in two. Ripped in half is, I presume, divided by half, or in other words, multiplied by two.

- fuchsm2002, on 06/05/2008, -0/+6man, why did my parents throw out all my "secret wars" comics! I miss them
- sterntastic223, on 06/05/2008, -0/+7you can buy it as a trade, it's pretty cheap too (or dload it on torrent)... and your parents threw them away because, other than the hulk holding up the world, they suck
- chancesarent, on 06/06/2008, -1/+9Didn't spidey get his black costume in Secret Wars? It's no "Hulk holding up a mountain", but pre Tobey's emo dance, the black costume was pretty damn cool.

- mike81890, on 06/06/2008, -1/+2If you are one of the chosen, then lifting the hammer aint no thing, right? Captain America lifted Mjolinar without much stress... perhaps the hulk is just one of the chosen?

- blackinthmiddle, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2It's the first law. Matter (or energy) can not be created or destroyed. But who cares?
- Philophobic, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1It's a violation of the first law, likely, but only if you ignore whatever justification they bring in to explain the sudden increase on mass.
As for his regeneration, his body could just be 100% efficient and just recycle the same material over and over. Granted, it's not likely, but it's halfway possible (in comic land).
- Philophobic, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1It's a violation of the first law, likely, but only if you ignore whatever justification they bring in to explain the sudden increase on mass.
- blackinthmiddle, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2It's the first law. Matter (or energy) can not be created or destroyed. But who cares?
- kinseyincanada, on 06/06/2008, -0/+18yes when you create a man who from Gama radiation can transform into a super-strong green monster powered by rage, the law of thermodynamics really should be considered.
- jeremyduffy, on 06/06/2008, -0/+4The key is to accept the premise first. You can complain AFTER they break their own rules (which they sometimes do).
- macweirdo42, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2The real violation there is that he increases in mass when he transforms into the Hulk. In the Marvel universe, though, it's explained that he somehow pulls matter from another dimension or something.
- threepop, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Sweet list. All that nostalgia. Hulk is dork. He still can't stand up to a sweet piece of ass, tho.
- Tenaciousender, on 06/06/2008, -1/+10what about beating the ***** out of The Sentry at the end of World War hulk? That means the Hulk is the strongest individual in the marvel universe... Period.

- macweirdo42, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1Yes, Ultimate Marvel is a different universe. Marvel Zombies is a different universe, too, actually.
- Aidje, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1Oh, I know there are separate storylines. What I'm wondering is if both halves regenerated, thus resulting in that universe having two Wolverines. My question was answered below by Watryboskfapped.
- wonderbriefs, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Yes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong (I never read Ultimate) but this is another separate-universe separate-storyline situation, right? I remember reading X-caliber and Excalibur at the same time and being totally confused.

Soothing music to calm the Hulk's anger and render him powerless.- KnytFyre, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1I don't know about that, hearing John Tesh's music is generally enough to make me flee a room in a blind rage.
- BananaGrabber, on 06/06/2008, -0/+9To be fair, hulk wasn't the only one who ate Galactus. Spider-man, Iron-Man, Pym, and bunch of others had to work together to bring him down and they all shared the spoils.
- furbyboy, on 06/06/2008, -0/+6yeah but didnt hulk take down the silver surfer and get the first bite??
- KnytFyre, on 06/06/2008, -1/+1that doesn't matter, because all the marvel zombies retained their own powers, so even if spidey, iron-man and others all got a piece of the power cosmic, the fact the hulk got some would still make him stronger, eventually eating all the others, then every bit of matter in existence, then eventually collapsing on his own gravitational field and making the next big bang.
- Nutmegan, on 06/06/2008, -4/+9Plus, Hulk survived that last movie, one of the biggest bombs I've ever seen.
- Luthor, on 06/06/2008, -0/+4The Hulk/Blob Fight in Hulk 368 was much better. Hulk just grabbed Freddy by the gut and stretched his fat out until he couldn't stand it anymore and left his feet. Then, as he was flying through the air, Hulk smacked him one right in the head. Classic.

- carl25, on 06/06/2008, -9/+2i'm a bit buzzed but i'm pretty sure this is how it goes.
1. Hulk braced the entire mountain, which is much different than lifting the entire thing.
2. Colossus has moved the blob via a steel girder via the see saw way
3. Superman would destroy the hulk, cross overs are usually crap
4. You would think that smashing an asteroid TWICE the size of EARTH would still have some pretty bad consequences, like i don't know. Destroying all of denmark
5. Who the hell hasn't
6. This is ultimate universe not 616 (normal) Galactus vs hulk would be like. Human vs ant
7. Hulk got burnt to bone when zzakz hit him with a ***** of electricity. But that's my mistake for using logic in comics
8. "nothing more than sheer force of will and strength." WHAT. Sheer force of will and strength have NOTHING to do with each other. World war hulk was stronger than any other hulk out there, read the comic and you will know why
9. Then deadpool, wolverine and juggernaut should be right with him. They all have an amazing healing factor. With juggernaut topping theme all.
10. Again not the 616 universe, no one has broken or ripped adamantium in the 616 universe, only dented by people like thor and his hammer/
11. Haven't seen close to anyone wear purple pants.- zobobob, on 06/06/2008, -1/+2Jugs doesn't have healing powers? He just a mystical force field powered by a gem so he doesn't have eat, breathe or be harmed. *shambles back to parents basement*

- dupeduperson, on 06/06/2008, -3/+7The Hulk lifting a mountain - I sure remember that! But secretly it has always bothered me. NO ONE can lift a mountain no matter how strong. Its like trying to lift a block of cheese with a needle, the needle would just go right through it.
I am sorry for saying this, I have an illness called "physics". I really don't mean to be a killjoy.- jeremyduffy, on 06/06/2008, -1/+1Think of it more like he's supporting the pocket of space that the mountain is on top of. Of course, it probably doesn't help, but it's an attempt to make sense of it.
- Hokuman, on 06/06/2008, -2/+0Man what the hell did you tried to prove with the needle and cheese example it does not make a damn sense, it would depend in what minerals and type of rock the mountain was made off to actually be able to do it( i'm not saying it's possible) and where the pressure would be put, but man.... if you are trying to put "physics" into comics book, just go read something else, the comics bend "physics" at their will to make it look cooler, in the millennium universe they try to make more sense out of things, but again... failed

But no matter how strong the elements are, when sufficient force is applies, something somewhere has to give. In this case, if you assume the hulk is strong enough to not get crushed by the mountain, then you have to concede that the weight of the mountain would be great enough to cause the area around where the hulk was holding to fail. Nails go into concrete when sufficient force is applied. Consider that the weight of a mountain is going to supply many times the force of a powder hammer, the mountain would collapse around the hulk, while the hulk stood there holding up a small part of what once was the cavern ceiling.

- Hokuman, on 06/06/2008, -2/+0Man what the hell did you tried to prove with the needle and cheese example it does not make a damn sense, it would depend in what minerals and type of rock the mountain was made off to actually be able to do it( i'm not saying it's possible) and where the pressure would be put, but man.... if you are trying to put "physics" into comics book, just go read something else, the comics bend "physics" at their will to make it look cooler, in the millennium universe they try to make more sense out of things, but again... failed
- VyPR, on 06/06/2008, -0/+5You're right. That kind of thing just ruins the otherwise realistic credibility of a story about a man getting blasted with gamma radiation and turning into a giant green monster when he gets angry.
- Vapor17, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1yea the comic would be so much better if he just got cancer and died after all that radiation.
- jeremyduffy, on 06/06/2008, -1/+1Think of it more like he's supporting the pocket of space that the mountain is on top of. Of course, it probably doesn't help, but it's an attempt to make sense of it.
- TheMightyDane, on 06/06/2008, -7/+1You guys don't get laid alot, do you ?
- ace429k, on 06/06/2008, -1/+2yer just a *****.
- AgentX640, on 06/06/2008, -1/+3girls must love your funny and original sense of humor.
- KnytFyre, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Funny how some people automatically think anyone interested in comics or gaming or (gasp) both have no social lives. I can think of several nights that I was reading a comic in bed while my wife was taking a shower and put it away when she got to the room, effectively letting me read a comic only moments before getting laid. Get over your stereotypes.
- TheMightyDane, on 06/06/2008, -1/+1Even more funny how guys reading comicbooks apperently has no sense of humour whatsoever.
- haroonie, on 06/06/2008, -0/+5he f*cking tore wolverine in half!? hulk smashh, hulk rip to shreds!
