- nancyfavlinks, on 07/08/2008, -3/+42I was so afraid that Superman was gonna be on the list. I'm glad my fears were unfounded.
- RobotKeaton, on 07/08/2008, -2/+40Gambit cannot be manly. He speaks french, and he's in love with a woman that he doesn't *****.
- chadwalters23, on 07/07/2008, -1/+33Good list. Batman should be ranked higher.
Gambit deserves a spot. - lead2thehead, on 07/08/2008, -1/+29Brock Samson?
- adml_shake, on 07/08/2008, -1/+27Optimus Prime?
- Conwaysb0718, on 07/07/2008, -1/+21I still cant believe Brendan Fraser is playing Gung-Ho.
- LegendaryHitman, on 07/07/2008, -1/+19LOBO!!! Lobo was an off the chain bastich in the 90's...I hope nobody gets the idea to make a kinder, gentler Czarnian for the 21st century...feetal's gizz! Lobo's Back was one of the funniest and hardest series DC ever did.
- Areku, on 07/08/2008, -3/+20By their own reasoning, shouldn't Captain America rank higher than Batman?!
- RobotKeaton, on 07/08/2008, -0/+163 of the top 4 smoke cigars. A testament to the manliness of stogies.
- Tyrghast, on 07/08/2008, -0/+15Yes. Cajun food = manliest on the planet. It's not 'Cajun' until you can't recognize what animal it was and when it's spicy enough to kill a small child.
- ngmcs8203, on 07/08/2008, -2/+16He-Man was about as manly as nightcrawler or the smurfs.
- PoonGnarfler, on 07/08/2008, -1/+15Captain Planet > Everyone
- BestJaxx, on 07/08/2008, -4/+18In that sense, neither can Batman. He wears rubber, and runs around with a little boy that we all know is gay.
- Danls92, on 07/08/2008, -7/+19Umm... He-Man anyone? I mean... HE- Man...
- MarrowMan, on 07/08/2008, -1/+13Where the ***** is Jesse Custer (Preacher)?
"Go ***** yourself!" - Synthos, on 07/08/2008, -1/+13Where the hell is Ash?
Come on. This isn't a manliest list without Ash in it. - karmazon, on 07/08/2008, -4/+14Conan! ***** yes!!!!!
- ngmcs8203, on 07/08/2008, -0/+10Gambit NEVER gets the respect he deserves. Maybe it's the cardsharp in me, but I always thought he was one of the most badass XMen.
- psychomidget, on 07/08/2008, -0/+9I had to sign in just to digg you up! Preacher is such a wickedly badass comic and Jesse Custer is the epitome of a badass man who gets the job done! Anyone who will hunt down and kill God to call him out on his ***** is one badass ***** in my books!!
- londubh, on 07/08/2008, -1/+10Oh, you are missing Orgazmo and Choda Boy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oECIKVaz5rc
- VyPR, on 07/08/2008, -1/+10Marv from Sin City?
- MavRevMatt, on 07/08/2008, -0/+9There's this great new feature in Digg comments: The reply button. Use it.
- RobotKeaton, on 07/08/2008, -0/+8Being Cajun can be manly, as evidenced by Gung-ho, who appears on the list. Gung-Ho's badassedness is amplified by his Cajun, whereas Gambit tries to center his manliness around being Cajun. Gung-Ho's like a potato with lots of awesome toppings, but Gambit's just the toppings. It doesn't work.
- dpcdomino, on 07/08/2008, -4/+12Snake Eyes > Gung Ho
Everyone > Captain America - ericnorris1, on 07/08/2008, -1/+9Whoa, i had totally forgotten about Grifter!
- chadwalters23, on 07/07/2008, -0/+8Wha? Really? Bizarre.
- zimmermans, on 07/08/2008, -2/+10It's telling that a barbarian is the epitome of manliness. Oh how far we've come, diggers.
- Lewie, on 07/08/2008, -1/+9Pink tights +
Blonde hair with bangs +
Cared about people

Not on the list - iamronburgundy, on 07/07/2008, -0/+6It seems like they updated the site, or something might have been screwed up...cause Batman is ranked higher than Capn' America.
- Lewie, on 07/08/2008, -0/+6Not on the list. Pink tights. Need I say more?
- jdizzle88, on 07/08/2008, -5/+11He's not a superhero and all those Chuck Norris jokes are getting real old.
- MarrowMan, on 07/08/2008, -0/+6Lobo is Immortal. Hell didn't want him and God is a sore loser.
- Kosher1947, on 07/08/2008, -0/+6But he is Cajun, and Cajun is manly.
- Aeroboy, on 07/08/2008, -1/+6I'd like to point out that only one hero on the list has a manly amount of facial hair, and that's Wolverine.
Rugged. - Acglaphotis, on 07/08/2008, -1/+6Spawn is so manly he sold his soul to the devil just to get revenge!
- Acglaphotis, on 07/08/2008, -1/+6Like in from Pokemon? Misty is manlier than Ash -_-'.
- fugtastic, on 07/07/2008, -1/+6Never a fan of Lobo but that's a pretty damn good list.
- VyPR, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5Look at all your different colored hats!
- RobotKeaton, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5Seconded. Marv makes most of these guys look like Robin.
- mspink, on 07/07/2008, -1/+6Great list. I'd like to see what you have in store for the bad ass heroines in Comic books.
- chickcomedy, on 07/07/2008, -2/+6Lobo is so tough!
- Idearat, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4No sense adding Captain America to the list, he'll be bumped in a steroid scandal eventually.
He was a scawny nobody before the injections. What kind of message does that send to our children?
;-) - Kosher1947, on 07/08/2008, -1/+5Conan? I like Conan and he is manly, but if we are going to include characters who made their start in literature I do believe Doc Savage should find his way onto any list of manliness. The Man of Bronze is the original superhero.
- krogothwolf, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4He-Man = Kids dumb downed niced up version of Conan
- RobotKeaton, on 07/08/2008, -2/+6No he's not.
- WoollyMittens, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4I"m sorry. But if you're going to be wearing tights for a living, don't make it a red white and blue clown suit. Batman at the very least had the sense to dress in black.
- WoollyMittens, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4If there was a sexual tyrannosaur in comics, HE would have been on top of that list.
- inactive, on 07/08/2008, -1/+5Thor? Spawn? Deadpool? Brock Samson?
- inactive, on 07/08/2008, -1/+5deadpool
- joxerman, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3Needs more Deadpool.
