- Autrix, on 04/20/2008, -1/+20Wow, Virgin superheroes. Finally the heroes can relate to the fans!
- PrometheusZero, on 04/20/2008, -1/+12I predict Mobile Man, The Incredible Airplane and CD Record Man...
- chancesarent, on 04/20/2008, -0/+9Stan Lee's early years working with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko are definitely epic milestones in entertainment history, but everything he's pumped out in his later years has been total *****. Anyone see Stripperella, Mosaic, Who wants to be a Superhero or The Condor?
- Deanblackoak, on 04/20/2008, -1/+9Stan Lee is a moron and without his partners Kirby and Dikto, a hack. Years ago they kicked him out of Marvel to Hollywood where they thought he could do no damage. But he managed to hold up both a Spider-Man and Fantastic Four movie for years by selling the rights to hack production companies. God help Virgin.
- inactive, on 04/20/2008, -4/+9Even if your knowledge of comics is rudimentary, like me, you know this is an excellent move for Virgin Comics. Any time you have Lee running a comics opporation, success is almost a given.
- KamikazeeDriver, on 04/20/2008, -1/+6Given he co-created Spiderman, Fantastic Four, and X-men, among many others, his cameos are well earned.
- ethanator1088, on 04/20/2008, -4/+9The God Father of comics!
- felman87, on 04/20/2008, -3/+7Stan Lee = Awesomeness personified
- Goldbricker, on 04/20/2008, -0/+3So they're guaranteed to suck.
I love Stan, but it's clear comics have passed him by. - BonhamsGhost, on 04/20/2008, -0/+3Amen. If only Jack Kirby was still alive and working instead.
- Deanblackoak, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1Sometimes... it's just dumb luck. By all inside accounts, he's not that creative.
- holysocks, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1Will be just like his ***** heroes he did for those web animations in the bankrupted company Stan Lee Media.
- ProfessorApe, on 04/21/2008, -0/+1Stan Lee had his run back in the 60s but as stated above by chancesarent he hasn't created anything worth a crap in the last 20 years. Adding to his list, go to your video store (or online) and look up "Stan Lee's Lightspeed" .. garbage pressed to plastic. Stan Lee and Gene Simmons are in the same boat of milking their past successes to death because, frankly, they don't have anything else.
- coldfusion1970, on 04/20/2008, -1/+1Hes definitely no moron. Hes made millions over the years thanks to his creativity.
- coldfusion1970, on 04/20/2008, -1/+1Personally i'm sad that Marvel no longer pre-face all their comicbooks with "Stan Lee presents ..."
I thought it was a great mark of respect for the father of modern superhero comics. - tsarfan, on 04/20/2008, -1/+1good on you, Virgin
- MookiBlaylock, on 04/20/2008, -1/+1For being such the old timer I think he probably has some great ideas for them.
- Bersy, on 04/20/2008, -6/+3It seems to me that Stan Lee is just milking the cash (and glory) cow while he still can. How many cameos & new ventures does the guy need... personally I'm not excited about any of it.. but good for him I guess.
- Kerblotto, on 04/20/2008, -4/+1I bet Stan Lee has some exciting things in mind -with how to spend the money. Virgin wants to end internet neutrality and turn it into some kind of Don King pay-per-view obscenity.
- inactive, on 04/20/2008, -8/+2LETS RAPE THEM ALL AND PUT AN END TO THIS NONSENSE
