Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes - it's a duck blur
You might solve a mystery or rewrite history
Duck Tales, Oo-oo
Tales of derring-do, bad and good luck tales, oo-oo - Pitfan, on 04/15/2008, -0/+166I didn't know there was a fan that dedicated to Scrooge McDuck.
- wacomwacoff, on 04/15/2008, -2/+86The sheer amount of detail inside is amazing.
- TheMightyDane, on 04/15/2008, -2/+61This is either the coolest or the saddest thing I've ever seen.
- DeathJux, on 04/15/2008, -7/+63Fake and awesome Duck Tales intro:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8dFf-BhUzk
Produced by Fatal Farm, who are a ridiculously talented duo. - squishee, on 04/15/2008, -4/+56Well duh, it has to be big enough for you to dive into a mound of coins and swim around in it.
- MLisa, on 04/15/2008, -0/+50That is not grass...it is 12 foot tall bamboo (imagination please).
- GrObserver, on 04/15/2008, -3/+52It really bugs me that he's not taking advantage of compounding interest. And with inflation, you're losing buying power every day, Uncle Scrooge. CMON! Invest that money somewhere! Check out the Talespin guys, I hear they have a pretty good business model. Or the Rescue Rangers gang, they make all kinds of gadgets and what not.
- dafragsta, on 04/15/2008, -2/+50Uncut OO-ooh!

What to do? Just grab on to some DuckTales
Not pony tales or cotton tales, no
DuckTales (ooh ooooh) - BlueSkyfish, on 04/15/2008, -11/+44The low angle shot makes it look huge, but the grass gives it away.
- kiMMey1, on 04/15/2008, -0/+29I want one!
- redneckblues, on 04/15/2008, -7/+36Your mom lets you hit it for coins.
- dinostabOMG, on 04/15/2008, -0/+26It's for ducks, not people.
- HeDiggMe, on 04/15/2008, -0/+261:1 and filled with cash
- Cofaloaf, on 04/16/2008, -0/+23What is this? A money bin for ants? How can we be expected to make deposits.. if we can't even fit inside the building?
The building has to be at least... three times bigger than this! - bbardlbradd, on 04/15/2008, -0/+23I'm 22 and I still eat lunchables and watch Scooby-Doo... GTFO!
- mytibt, on 04/15/2008, -0/+19"you can't even fit real people in there, it has to be at least three times as big"
- VanillaCoke, on 04/15/2008, -0/+16Well, you can't know everything I guess.
- Xondar, on 04/15/2008, -0/+15He does have a room filled with land deeds and stocks and bonds.
I think it's implied that the stuff in the Money Bin is Scrooge's "pocket change." That's how freaking rich he is. - jaredcat, on 04/15/2008, -0/+13Gold coins don't lose value from inflation... Over the past 10 years, Scrooge would earn much more due to the value of gold increasing than he ever would from compound interest in a savings account.
- WallnutBoy, on 04/15/2008, -0/+13Oh my... Oh my God...
- mark076h, on 04/15/2008, -3/+15i thought it was just a 1 room building filled with money? , but it has been years so i don't really remember
- JosephShell, on 04/15/2008, -4/+16How frickin cool is that! Amazing!
- mattwalton56, on 04/15/2008, -0/+12I loved Darkwing Duck....
- Xondar, on 04/15/2008, -0/+11I've always wanted to dive into the money in the Money Bin and swim around in it, maybe spit out some coins like I'm spitting out water.
However, I have realized that a pile of coins is probably very hard and it would really hurt to dive in... - MrTito, on 04/15/2008, -0/+10You just broke my childhood.
- GhostyBoy, on 04/15/2008, -0/+10Raphael is cool but rude (gimme a break!)
Michelangelo is a party dude!
....what? - FireSlash, on 04/15/2008, -0/+9Where's the drain on the bottom?
- Enron, on 04/15/2008, -2/+11Ron Paul has a bin like this.
- uberphildo, on 04/15/2008, -0/+8Now it's stuck in my head, thanks Skunkhair!
- Ruger11mcrdpi, on 04/15/2008, -0/+8awesome.
- Brodels, on 04/16/2008, -0/+8what else would you be digging it for?
- jackalsclaw, on 04/15/2008, -0/+7awesome and terrible
- MtheoryX, on 04/16/2008, -0/+6Awesome Comment!!! Would read again!!!! A+++++
- MatSkull, on 04/16/2008, -0/+6Hi wmphx, and thanks for your point of view. Taken into consideration that I was 14 at the time I built this - five years ago, maybe you see the weakness of your comment.
- MatSkull, on 04/16/2008, -0/+6Hi diggers! It's fascinating how web works. A couple of hours ago I noticed that my photostream had gotten thousands more views all of a sudden. A quick google got me here.
I also think it's fascinating that most of you are reminded of Ducktales (I guess most of you are American?). Here in Scandinavia the main source of tales from Duckburg is the comic books, hence the model's non-Ducktales design. But, come on, the Ducktales bin looks like a silly circus/rocket hybrid compared to the minimalistic, yet stylish cubic one ;)
Well, I think I've said what I wanted to say. Thanks a lot for all the diggs! - pnunn, on 04/15/2008, -2/+8I wanna swim in the moneybin!
- jackalsclaw, on 04/15/2008, -0/+6call bill gates
- inactive, on 04/15/2008, -0/+6Just wait until the scale models of the Beagle Boys try to break in.
- GrObserver, on 04/16/2008, -0/+6Good points, all of you, I was thinking about the gold appreciation on the way home and knew a digger or two would call me on it. But remember: gold has inherent value because it requires capital to get it out of the ground. When you can just draw more of it at the Disney Animation Studios, it simply becomes another fiat currency backed only by the central bank of ... ok, I'm just wasting time now on an imaginary argument, back to work.
- Rippleeffect, on 04/15/2008, -1/+6That doesn't really look like how I remember it being in the cartoon. Where's the gold $ on the top?
- BoneStamp, on 04/16/2008, -0/+5I'm impressed this many people remember Scrooge McDuck and more surprised that someone is still thinking about it this hard.
- inactive, on 04/16/2008, -0/+5Carl Barks is a golden god
- abtarhar, on 04/16/2008, -0/+4So, do they use that kind of angle trick to take body pics?
- StealthX, on 04/15/2008, -2/+6| --- | that much, you missed by
- jsaya, on 04/16/2008, -1/+5cause I like how he used those cool air commas at the beginning and end of his post
- joegibes, on 04/16/2008, -0/+4Not to mention the precious stones floor... Those hold their value fairly well.
- MatSkull, on 04/16/2008, -1/+5I liked that the people at Boingboing called it a GIANT scale model. I just don't know whether I fooled them or they were pulling off something called irony.
- catpockets, on 04/15/2008, -0/+4This is just horrible. Dugg!
