- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+184If you play it in reverse she looks like a ninja...
- oOLiquidNightOo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+66i like how they jerk her back off the ground, like she's embarrassing them.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -12/+75That's just terrible. As much as I hate cheerleaders, you don't laugh when someone lands headfirst on concrete.
- thehans, on 10/12/2007, -3/+60I hope she's not seriously hurt, but if she is I hope she can at least still move her spirit fingers.
- christiancadeo, on 10/12/2007, -7/+59She did not die, nevertheless I agree this is not funny at all.
http://www.click2houston.com/news/9809025/detail.html - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+48Yea, what the hell was that about? Spinal injury or broke neck? no problem, us girls will whip you right back up. Opps, sorry we just severed your teenage spinal cord. Opppsy, guess you'll be a quad the rest of your life. Noooo problems.
- linuxps2, on 10/12/2007, -21/+66that was hillarious...
gimme a O... gimme a U... gimme a C.. gimme an H
whats that spell.... OUCH! - MadEnvoy, on 10/12/2007, -7/+43"Dangerous, super dangerous."
- Jeebugorn, on 10/12/2007, -7/+40@mohanned
you do realize that they are cheerleaders. not exactly the brightest people in the world. - mozzep, on 10/12/2007, -5/+38wow... way to copy linuxps2, you think we're stupid enough to not read the time next to your name...
- Hergio, on 10/12/2007, -4/+33How do you play a YouTube video in reverse?
- HouseofEl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+29Sucks for her yes, but damn don't pull her up off the ground. After a hit like that no one should have touched her. Yet you see the other girls yanking her up right away. If she had actually hurt herself they could have paralyzed her or something.
- netburnr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25Yeah, pulling stuff out of your a$$ isn't going to work here.
She actually performed at the football game later that day, she landed on her back, not her head or neck. - MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -3/+25Those chicks are morons for trying to pick her up and stand her on her feet. She didn't exactly fall on her head though I'm sure it hit the concrete hard - the majority of it was impact with her back to which she might be/have been paralyzed or on the way to it so picking her up is the last thing you want to do... but no, I'm sure they were taught to recover quickly and maintain composure or some *****.
- dacheetah, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23@jamief0:
"Asphalt is a type of concrete :)"
No it isn't. Concrete, in this context, is a mix of cement and gravel, asphalt is basically a hard form of tar.
Both however are used for similar things, and have a similarly negative effect on heads. - EAMUS1CATULI, on 10/12/2007, -4/+23LOL. That's really smart not to have the two cheerleader guys standing next the them to catch the girl if something like this happens. Also smart is to do a routine like this on concrete. Brilliant!!!
- Crucifix, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20"It felt like the ground just whoop in the back of my head. It hurt at first, but it was like a shock to me. But, then after I got it together, I came back to my regular step and I was fine," she said.
That's one tough little girl. Good to hear she's OK. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17The guy news reader should have replied with "super duper dangerous".
- nd_miller, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18Does anyone know if this isn't what they meant to do? Cause if they did that on purpose then that is bar-none the best cheerleading I've ever seen. How could you not give it your all if the cheerleaders are willing to crack their skulls during a pep rally?
- Bigbro69, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16http://www.break.com/index/cheerleader_accident_caught_live.html
- poipoipoi, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13yes, because when people think "ninja," people think "african american" in the same way when people think of rap they think of those Chinese backstreet boys on Youtube... [rolls eyes]
- Idealistic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12That gerbil comment is tragic.
- motang, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14How in the hell is this a comedy video...that is just ***** up.
- piesforyou, on 10/12/2007, -9/+19Yeah, her legs really kicked. My gerbil did that when I dropped it on concrete.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Reminds me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApzPZgUwDaE
- africansk8er, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I uploaded the video onto my personal YouTube account. Too bad I didn't do it earlier...
Here's the link -
http://youtube.com/watch?v=lFvXpQq-0eo - africansk8er, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I emailed the person who posted the video, and I've asked him/her to put it back up.
- cody50, on 10/12/2007, -8/+15Pirates beat ninjas.
- punkrockxtian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Well it is pretty stupid to do your routine on nothing more than bare asphalt/concrete..
- GezusK, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Really no different than a gym floor, or a running track that's around some football fields.
- Jugalator, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Wow.. Did you see her twitching on the ground? :-( That looked pretty bad, and I hope she's OK.
- insinuate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5eeew ***** you got someone mad
- nullynull, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I just find the "hope she's OK" comments from the news "reporters" ironic. Perhaps being reporters you might want to, I dunno, find out. :P
- digitalchaos666, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6dammit they took it down, i wanted to see it
- exsst, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7cheer leaders aren't doctors, if anyone thinks teenage chicks are smart, they need a cheer leader for a girlfriend and an appointment at the doctor.
- africansk8er, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Woah, I've gotten some bad responses for posting the video. Here's one (sorry about the language) -
"WHAT THE ***** IS YO PROBLEM BITCH SHE COULD OF BEEN REALLY HURT WHAT IF YOUR STUPID ASS WOULD OF FELL IT HALARIOUS YOU STUPID ***** MOUTH HOE. HOW ABOUT YO LAME ASS COME TO WESTFIELD I BET YO DUMB ASS WONT BE LAUGHING THEN BITCH!!!! THIS IS A WESTFIELD BITCH IF YOU GOT SOMETHIN' TO SAY DO SOMETHIN HOE!!! SAY HOE I DONT KNOW WHO THA ***** YOU IS BUT YOU A ***** STUPID ASS HOE. ***** STUPID. UHA I'M SO ***** MAD THATS MY ***** AND YOU A ***** BITCH."
From we176113 - diggduggjoe, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8Well, I am coming from a very different viewpoint. My sister is brain injured. She has been in a wheel chair and unable to speak for over twenty years. The person she was is no more. She was barely a teenager when she had her event.
Fortunately, she has been able to communicate with a spelling board, or her life would be insanely awful. I remember some of the other brain injured at the rehab, especially a teenage girl struggling to walk and talk again. She was in motorcycle accident without a helmet.
Come to think of it, it was freaking hilarious! /sarcasm
- CoreBurn, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Why is there no way to "bury" a broken link anymore? The video has been removed, yet this is still on the front page...
- DaMav, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4gone again :-(
all these diggs, gotta be good. Someone pop it back up there - Torx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Majority of these videos can be found by ourself with ease on youtube.
Looks like she landed with her upper most back on the ground first, maybe head second.
Definately nothing funny about it, especially with it being on the concrete.
The news anchor man looks like he wants to crack a smile - kspurgeon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5After getting off a long shift at work...my god that made my day...it was scary though. I also like how they automatically start to pull her up after her head just smashed into the ground...lets give it up the public school systems and cheerleaders!
- netburnr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Yes your back is important, but you have to remember, she is a young cheerleader. These girls are a lot tougher than you would think. They have a lot of muscle tone to their legs and back to be able to do the tricks they do. I once got knocked off a trampoline after bouncing about 15 feet in the air and landed dead on my back...sure it hurt, but I was fine after I caught my breath.
- Thwarter, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I'm sure we can agree that her asphalt on the ground, hard, regardless what the surface was made of.
Glad she's OK. - Lagged2Death, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Is it actually common practice for cheerleaders to do these types of high-flying routines on concrete and asphalt surfaces? Doing so seems incredibly foolish.
Then again, we don't let teenagers vote, drink, etc. ...they can be incredibly foolish. - haxx4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/52868/Cheerleader_Lands_On_Her_Head.html
- diggduggjoe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Absolutely not comedy. It was scary. It is good to know she is okay, but a brain injury was possible from what is on that short clip and that is not something to laugh about.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3its been removed by the user, any other links or at least google video?
- gd007, on 10/12/2007, -7/+10omg, i hope she is able to cheerlead again.
- mpablo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3They had to. Channel 2 doesn't feel like walking all the way to the grass...
- addictedtorss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Why is this categorized under "videos/comedy"? Maybe it's just me, but I've never understood why watching people get hurt is supposed to be funny.
