- Marines920, on 08/10/2009, -10/+1537He owned her...... LIKE A BOSS!
- Elsewhere42, on 08/09/2009, -4/+1254This is why I put all of my co-workers in a friend group that is locked down so they can't see anything.
- iamsocruel, on 08/09/2009, -2/+928haha..i wish i could see all her friend's responses to this one
- kkush, on 08/09/2009, -17/+676OWNED!!!
- mrjit, on 08/10/2009, -6/+628That'd be kind of ***** if she just happened to have two jobs and wasn't even referring to the one where the "prancing queen" was her boss.
- Elsewhere42, on 08/10/2009, -2/+5331. Add a new group. (I call mine "Lockdown")
2. Place all "sensitive" people in your Lockdown group.
3. Go to "Privacy" Section and update security of EVERY item. Use the DropDownList next to each item to select "Customize" and then add the Lockdown group name to the "Except these people" area.
I recommend you create a another test account on Facebook and place this test user in your Lockdown group so you can test the security settings to confirm that they are working. - jontilton, on 08/10/2009, -0/+425It's not a matter of avoiding adding your boss on Facebook; it's a matter of not being an idiot.

- Wisgary, on 08/10/2009, -50/+4281) Bitch about an imaginary job on Facebook
2) Have a friend pretend to be your imaginary boss.
3) Take a cropped screenshot
4) ????
5) Profit - Trichomonas, on 08/10/2009, -21/+372She deserves it for not respecting her work. If you can't put forth your best effort into your job then maybe it's time for a career change.
- procto2012, on 08/10/2009, -1/+303http://instantboss.org/
- Schmapdi, on 08/10/2009, -10/+291She should be fired - for being an idiot.
But this attitude of "if you don't 100% love your job and are ass-kissingly grateful for it" you should quit/be fired is ridiculous. If you show up on time, and do your work well, that's all that required. I know a few managers - they constantly bitch about their employees (and their bosses) to expect employees not to vent about their work/coworkers is very hypocritical.
Of course, try to be smart enough not to do it in front them, internets or otherwise. - 17999, on 08/10/2009, -4/+250Ooh... wife to lockdown group in 3... 2... 1...
status update: %!%! work and the house, I am going hanggliding today. - SitPoMk, on 08/10/2009, -4/+246LIKE A BOSS!
- y0smokey, on 08/10/2009, -1/+196He most definitely shat on her desk.
- norman619, on 08/10/2009, -4/+181Why do you bother adding people who aren't your friends to your facebook? Seems kinda stupid. I only have friends on my facebook. Makes life simple. I don't have to walk on egg shells when I'm using it that way.
- headzoo, on 08/10/2009, -9/+176Hrm.. First time someone was fired on Facebook?
- greenroom628, on 08/09/2009, -6/+172this is why i don't add bosses or gossipy co-workers on facebook. that's what linkedin is for...
- algaeturd, on 08/10/2009, -4/+165Oh, totally. She's probably a millionaire by now just from this one submission. Maybe even close to becoming a billionaire.
- sassafras1232, on 08/10/2009, -3/+155But why bother doing all that when there's people stupid enough out there to actually do this? Sure, it could have been faked, but even if it is something like this probably has happened.
- norman619, on 08/10/2009, -5/+128Silly me here I am using email, mailing lists, and the intranet to communicate with people throughout the company regarding business. And if I need to get ahold of them right away I use this really nifty tool called a cellphone or I get off my ass and go to them if it's really important. Relying on Facebook for business communications is pretty stupid.
- MrFisty, on 08/10/2009, -1/+123Probably something along the lines of: "OMG like whatever. U dont need his gay job ne way. U'll gonna be a star! Luv u"
Yes, we've had receptionists at my work who actually wrote like this in staff emails. Makes you wonder if work was something they'd previously only heard about on The Simple Life. - yeskia, on 08/10/2009, -7/+126oh wow you read reddit too. great work.
- ace429k, on 08/10/2009, -3/+117like whoring!
- eibiee, on 08/10/2009, -3/+116LIKE A BAWSE!
- ryanonfire, on 08/10/2009, -1/+107She COULD just say that she had two jobs and was talking about her "other job"
- chockster, on 08/10/2009, -3/+94If she's in the UK (slang suggests she is) she'd have to declare the second job for tax reasons. So either she's offended her boss or she's breaking the law. Score.
- shwerm601, on 08/10/2009, -12/+98Or you could just not use facebook... ;-)
- pyro4785, on 08/10/2009, -4/+89How do you do this? I thought friend groups didn't have privacy settings.
- snappleman, on 08/10/2009, -13/+97Really? How many of you are there!? Here's a tip: NO ONE CARES!
- scoottie, on 08/10/2009, -11/+92So i guess the new trend is people posting fake things on there facebook instead of posting pieces of paper with stupid things written on them
- Timmyftw, on 08/10/2009, -0/+79I must say, that is a cool boss. What kind of work are you in?
- mrjit, on 08/10/2009, -0/+78Buried per user request.
- pyro4785, on 08/10/2009, -1/+79Nice I got it. Thanks... this is very helpful.
- ell0bo, on 08/10/2009, -2/+79Well, I don't know, having my boss as a friend on facebook worked out for me. There was a period where I was just getting annoyed every day, and eventually I started looking for new jobs. I put something on my status, and my boss read it. He got really concerned and called me up to make sure I wasn't leaving, I told him how unhappy I was and that I really wanted a raise. Well, 2 months later I got a 9% raise (technically two, one 5% and one 4%) and eventually we managed to get things more under control. Granted my boss is pretty cool, and is even now trying to introduce me to girls so I will stay in the area longer, money isn't enough of a reason to stick around Harrisburg...
- antdude, on 08/10/2009, -1/+77And family. ;)
- JohnWilsoniv, on 08/10/2009, -14/+88wow, reddit comments are stupid.
- TwoThirteen, on 08/10/2009, -0/+74***** win
- RoroCo, on 08/10/2009, -6/+78I wasn't going to because I am more likely to not believe the post then believe it. But, since you are so demanding... down you go.
- norman619, on 08/10/2009, -2/+73Forgot to add this bit of advice. Never mix your personal life with your work/professional life. The chances of a major and embarassing clash are nearly zero that way. what happened to this woman is more common than you would think.
- AnalogAssassin, on 08/10/2009, -1/+71At a lot of jobs, at least before the recession, showing up on time and doing your work well was all it took to not only keep your job, but to get a promotion. Because there's a bunch of deadheads out there that can't even master the basics.
I don't think most people "love" their jobs. But if you're going to have a job, then do it well. Take some pride in what you do. Even if you hate your job, you still have to eat and pay your bills while you keep your eyes open for another job. Then give your two weeks notice, don't burn your bridges, you never know. Some people are too dense to understand this *****. - ZombieSociety, on 08/10/2009, -2/+71Surely this is the money-making scam of the century.
- inactive, on 08/10/2009, -1/+70Sometimes members of my family add me on Facebook and I'd feel like a bit of a dick ignoring them.
- AdonalFoyle, on 08/10/2009, -43/+110facebook screenshots, the new bash.org
source: http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/98yfi/this_i ... - jakobrowning, on 08/10/2009, -0/+64This is why I don't post ***** I don't want the entire world to read. All the account lock downs in the world can't compete with stupid users.
- Schmapdi, on 08/10/2009, -9/+70OK, well then about 95% of people need new jobs. Because almost everyone is ***** at theirs.
- dinuguan, on 08/10/2009, -21/+82BUH-BAM! gay boss embarrassment.
- Moralogic, on 08/10/2009, -3/+59The first thing I thought, "What a stupid bitch."
