        Here's an archive with the post. I wouldn't call it racist. Again, what makes it Anti-black? I saw nothing in the article about being anti-black. Anti-stereotype, yes, but not anti-black, you're a retard.
        Although this article has been copypasta'd to a racist board, it doesn't make the author racist. Just because a group of people want to use the article for their agenda, doesn't mean that was the authors intent.

People shouldn't be afraid to speak out against anyone's behavior, regardless of race. That's what makes people accountable, nothing racist about it.
            If a group of people are conforming to a stereotype, what better way to combat it then calling them on it? Thus the stereotype is destroyed through education.

            You seem to lack coherent arguments on this subject, no where have you pointed out where it was anti-black, or condoned hating a group of people.

      This is certainly a NASA project (although public records acknowledge it- research can only go so far- it is an ongoing project at present- and is easily verified), which has hit the skids into conspiracy land- yet the money is still MISSING!

      I cannot think of anything which would cost so much during one administration. The 2.7 Trillion is not an accumulative sum- this is how much that cannot be accounted for during this administration- alone. NASA is a military based program- just an FYI!!!

Yet late on Sunday (and for us early morning risers) you see front page stories with 35 diggs. The site wants to keep content refreshing in a timely manner. I imagine an automatic 200 and your front page threshold, while sounding good, could prove to be slightly chaotic at peek usage times.

If the same people are digging the same submitter all the time, technically their diggs don't mean as much because most of the diggs were from people who never read the story. It just makes it harder to artificially inflate stories to popular.

      My new rule is that whenever I get one of these shout spams, I automatically digg the story down as spam, regardless of whether I liked it or not (which I never seem to anyway).

    Anyone can be popular on Digg in the same way you become president or whatever. You have to make a lot of friends and then go co-opt everyone's ideas as your own. If you submit enough articles and have enough notoriety you will get on the front page.

    I don't think I'm using Digg right at all. I submit stuff for myself and my friends. I'm not actually submitting it for the Digg public. I just use Digg to add interesting stuff to my blog. That's it. I even sometimes submit dupes if I don't like the original article or the description of it. I think that's the best part of Digg - not getting strangers to Digg your story, but to get your friends in your social network OUTSIDE of Digg to read your story.

    If you think about it, Digg really is an awesome link aggregator and blog posting tool. In just a few clicks I can use Digg to post to my blog instead of posting to it manually with no tracking. And hey, if anyone out there in Diggland likes the submission - cool. But I say the success isn't in using Digg to share for popularity, but as a way to find articles and share them outside of Digg. Blog It is awesome.

    In the end, are you trying to be popular amongst strangers or popular amongst your social networks? My blog friends and Facebook friends can see what I am doing. Those are the people who matter most. But if you do submit good things, you'll make friends on Digg as well and that's cool.

    I'd rather be the guy with a lot of friends who can throw a block party than be the guy who runs for President.

      Or you can only submit stuff you find interesting and that isn't on digg already, and sometimes people will find it interesting too.

      I've never understood playing the game either. I have a few high-count front page stories, I've never sent a shout to ask someone to digg an article, and I've also had a fast-rising submission dumped by editorial. I do also tend to submit things that I'd enjoy reading the commentary about.

    Honestly, I don't know why people are becoming my "fans". It's not like I've added anyone to my friends list. I don't have any friends here.

      Either way, sometimes it makes me feel a little nervous. Kind of like when that silver-back gorilla pays a little too much attention to you and gets a little too close and friendly. Now what could be want from you?

Aside from a very few small cases, I can't see that I have interacted with any of them at all. My best guess is that they want as many mutual friends as possible so that their own stories get made popular. They're on to a loser with me as I don't add them back.

      I call total ***** on that. You know that they probably USE people like him on purpose. I bet you they hide the page, give him the URL and he submits it. Once it's in the queue, they publish the page and everyone else is already too late.

      That's the danger of Digg, that a few users could end up contractually linked with a bunch of sites and submit all of their articles before they are published. I think that's what the guys like MrBabyMan, zaibatsu and msaleem do.

They aren't important in their real lives so they come here and take over to make themselves feel better. I advice everyone that hate them to use the bury button on them. It's there for a reason. Notice that when alpacino got a job he stopped coming here. He was a good digger he submitted stories and didn't let go to his head.
