    It shoots protons around a circle with 27km circumference at 99,99991% of the speed of light. When two of these protons collide (when they are going in opposite directions), strange things are supposed to happen. For example, there should be anti-matter coming into existence, or tiny black holes. We will probably get lots of new information on how the universe began it's existence.

    And no, it probably won't bring back Mitch Hedberg, but there is a very, very slight chance that it will. But he will probably have tentacles.
