- tominabox1, on 10/12/2007, -39/+14Yeah...WTF.... That was interesting, also NOT made for kids ;)
- lordthor, on 10/12/2007, -60/+27***** whoever made this. God bless America.
(***** the government... Bless the country.) - Lasker, on 10/12/2007, -16/+55Mexico and China would be in significantly worse shape without the United States. Illegal immigration drives down Mexican unemployment. The US is China's #1 trade partner; its bond market stabilizes Chinese banks.
- Bioshocker, on 10/12/2007, -7/+23You could say that illegal immigration harms Mexico by skimming off all their most ambitious citizens. If you're prepared to risk everything, including your life, to better yourself, you've already proved yourself more worthy than a large proportion of regular people. I doubt the people who make the trip are the people wasting away on the Mexican doll.
(This is just an observation I thought was interesting. I'm not trying to prove or disprove anyone's points.) - Xanadude, on 10/12/2007, -10/+14Actually, we're skimming off Mexico's poorest and least-skilled citizens, so essentially, Mexico is exporting their poverty to us.

*****
Thats all im thinking as im watching this. - mcottier, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11The Digg submitter said 17 seconds, and the video was 17 seconds. Thirty seconds was only in the title on you tube.
Also, is this being marked as inaccurate because of the length, or that America is not really like that? - ElectricGrandpa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Why the hell is this guy getting dugg up? The video IS 17 seconds long, 30 seconds is just the name of the bit...
- dagonweb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9It is completely correct. The US needs to wither away and stop being a hyperpower ASAP.
- jls777, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5@ dagonweb
What's wrong with being a hyperpower? We're doing well so now you hate us for it? - walugi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6"well" ?
The US was doing well, till a certain someone came into power. Now half the world dislike the US, but they're brushed away into either being terrorists or lefties. - eviltandem, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2er... I thought it was funny...
Real? No. Seriously people, not everything has to be a polictical statement.
- bleonard, on 10/29/2007, -29/+33Wondershowzen is one of the best comedy shows on television.
- chiatar, on 10/12/2007, -21/+5YES! i wish they still sold season two on iTunes so more people could see it.
- charlie55, on 10/12/2007, -15/+10man, the world would be so much worse off without the US. billions of people would be in worse shape. without the HUGE US market they would have nobody to sell their products to, and they might even be living under communism or fascism. the US is the greatest force for good that the world has ever seen.
- DracoFlameus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4yeah true... oh wait... http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/09/24/iraq.main/index.html ^^

- nykwil, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4This is one of those weird digg things. This clip has been on digg for a long time, how can someone resubmit it with such a bad name and it suddenly makes front page. It isn't even "totally BANNED global polics in 17 seconds EVER!!!"
Oh well wonder showzen is hillarious.

- gregmo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+76did the us just ***** out 3 mexico's onto china?
- j.carcinogen, on 10/12/2007, -2/+48Birthed them.
- montiff, on 10/12/2007, -4/+36Yes, now why did we birth mexico's on china ?
please someone explain. - TheThirdWheel, on 10/12/2007, -2/+58@montiff
Apparently when a country consumes large portions of South America, and then dry humps North Africa, the result is Mexican triplets. - tehbishop, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4wow I hope not, because the US ate 1/2 of two of them ... I was hoping perhaps they were babies ...
- seamusfurr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Yes. If you think about it, 15 years ago the US was exporting jobs to Mexico, and now we're exporting way, way more to China.
Don't spend too much time thinking about it, however. It is only 17 seconds of a 30 minute show, and you're not expected to remember it. - Cl1mh4224rd, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0@TheThirdWheel: Actually, that was Saudi Arabia the U.S. erm... raped. There was some kind of reverse impregnation weirdness going on there.
I've already thought about this too much...
- MrWhipple, on 10/12/2007, -26/+40Not terribly funny, or even true. U.S. foreign policy does have some big problems, but even Hugo Chavez would say that's just over the top.
- Mousse, on 10/12/2007, -8/+28Pardon me for questioning you, but I believe that was the point.

- cr125er, on 10/12/2007, -18/+18Only MTV could get my hopes up for a funny history video and then fail miserably.
If it had really been 17 seconds I wouldn't have suffered the extra 13.- dclowd9901, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Wonder Showzen has a history far more rich and colorful than development on MTV2. It actually started as a guy's pet project called "Kids' Show" that he pitched to the USA network, as a mock-children's show for adults. The pilot was one of the funniest things I had ever seen when I first saw it at ebaum's (though, I'm sure they stole it from the original creator.)
Here's the original pilot:

- rhettnyedotorg, on 10/12/2007, -13/+23I have a few suggestions for the next 30 or 17 seconds..
1) work fox news into it somehow (maybe cleans the teeth of the beast)
2) barf on canada and the UK (represents the USA's contribution to western culture)
3) fart on the contient of africa (hot air and something smelly, in one)
4) poo on france
5) french kiss israel, australia, and POLAND.- seamusfurr, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Thank you for not forgetting Poland.
Sincerely,
President George W. Bush - kevinmotel, on 10/12/2007, -7/+7"barf on canada and the UK (represents the USA's contribution to western culture)"
oh i'm sorry, you must have forgotten about jazz, rock and roll, baseball, mickey mouse, the simpsons, michael jordan, indiana jones, star wars, broadway, blues, transformers, samuel l jackson, to kill a mockingbird, catch 22, catcher in the rye, moby dick, the great gatsby, CNN, the discovery channel, mark twain, leaves of grass, edgar allen poe, i love lucy, MASH, all in the family, american gothic, andy warhol...should i keep goin? - charlescheese, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Har har, you're about as clever as they come. Okay, now all you diggers, it's time to jump on the band wagon and conform your thought to the average digger's self loathing lifestyle. You're all so cool you hate your home, you hate your country, you hate your history. You hate yourself. Congrats, we get it, you hate everything, you're WAY to cool for school, and you've got the cool guy hacker anti establishment thing down pat. Way to go, you fit in and you are the mold that is today's net geek. Hooray for you.
I wonder how many more lame stories you can dig up to show us all how awesome you are, by ***** on your home, country, and family some more. I don't know, I stopped pretending to hate the system when I reached about 14. Something about adults being stuck in the anti-establishment, self loathing, teenage melancholy, rut is kind of sad to me. Maybe if you got some Prozac or laid off the drugs you might do something slightly more constructive than ***** on everything and everyone all the time.
I've got it so damn good in this country that it hurts. I can say what I want, when I want, to who I want. I can make myself rich, very easily, if I want. I can join a church, any church I want, and practice worshiping ***** in a can as my God, if I so desire. My life, is good, and I'm not going to be dishonest about it and come on here and complain like a spoiled 13 year old brat over something so temporary as a one president I may not like. I don't care who the president is, this has been a great place to live for a long time, and it will be for a long time. This is a great place to live, a great place to have a family, and place of enormous opportunity.
I'm not saying it's the best place in the world, or that we're better than everyone, I'm just saying I've got it good, and I'm not going to pretend like the rest of you that I hate it all. This is a great place, and most people who sit there and whine and ***** on it aren't leaving it to prove their contempt. That is disingenuous. It's very easy for Americans to become Canadians, and if the people on here who bitch and moan about it America day in and day out really hated it so much, it's hardly even an inconvenience to catch a bus to Canada and live somewhere else. - Armalite, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2@tubejay
No you ignoramous. You and other idiots with your blanket response to just "shut up and god bless America" miss the entire point of these exercises. At some point, you probably complained to friends long and hard about your parents. But it doesn't mean you hated them, just the opposite. Most diggers know we got it very, very good here. But we're not ignorant to the fact doesn't always come without a cost, often paid by other people, and these postings acknowledge that. - praeburn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@tubejay
This cartoon does not suggest that the USA is not a nice place to live, it suggests that in the interest of making America a nice place ot live, the US rapes other economies like Mexico, China, etc. Your comfortable lifestyle comes at a price others pay. You buy cheap clothes at the GAP because somebody makes them for a few cents an hour, and has has their amenities privatized to US companies.
It's not about you, it's about them. You know the other 6 billion people in the world who aren't American.
- seamusfurr, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Thank you for not forgetting Poland.
- rokinroj, on 10/12/2007, -7/+22They forgot to stop by and blow the UK and Australia, our last allies.
- praeburn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Wouldn't that be "get blown by the UK and Australia"?
When the US gets condemned in the UN security council for international terrorism in Nicaragua, the only countries who abstain from voting are the US and Australia. Otherwise unanimous.
- praeburn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Wouldn't that be "get blown by the UK and Australia"?
- flippinjeremy, on 10/12/2007, -24/+22This shows some truth, but it mostly demonstrates the creators ignorant hate for America...
Yes, some, if not many, of our foreign politics need a fix, but what a ridiculous and moronic way to show it...
Government in itself is a good thing, it's the politics/people that screw it up. (i.e. Right-Wing Nutjobs, and Left-Wing Psychos, etc) So, to say "F*** the government" shows a certain lack of education.
US Education System at its Finest....- duketime, on 10/12/2007, -13/+6Don't know why you got buried. The administration has failde on pretty many levels but people who say f* the government without proposing any reasonable alternative (insert Churchill's quote about democracy here) are worse than the government itself. Any government is an actual *execution*, meaning something that's being used and exists in a usable form. Mindless detraction doesn't even have an idea (much less an execution that many people live under).
Criticizing the government (without really knowing about it and without coming up with ideas to fix it) is becoming so trendy that videos like these are actually becoming passe.
Seriously. - ImTheDarkcyde, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11what can you say, people who don't vote generally love to complain about their elected government :-P
- rokinroj, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13I find it funny that you would bash anyone who bashes the US, and then end your post by bashing the US Education System.
- flippinjeremy, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5Well if you had read my post, you'd see that I was bashing ignorant people who say "F*** government". I don't care if people bash US, they can do whatever they want. And by making the point that our education system is flawed doesn't mean that I'm "bashing" US. Use common sense, and grade 3 reading skills before your next comment.
- rokinroj, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6Slinging insults?
Way to make your point that you're the educated one. - flippinjeremy, on 10/12/2007, -7/+4"Slinging insults? Way to make your point that you're the educated one." -rokinroj
The irony just kills me.
(and I don't remember stating that I was more or less educated than anyone...)
- duketime, on 10/12/2007, -13/+6Don't know why you got buried. - gervase, on 10/12/2007, -9/+16That was positively terrifying.
Then again, so is our foreign policy.- j.carcinogen, on 10/12/2007, -6/+7Yeah remember the good ol' days 100 years ago when Africa was revered for their eduacation system, Asian citizens all were equally wealthy, and South American streets were actually paved.
- ItNeverEnds, on 10/12/2007, -7/+9Meh. Not particularly funny. U.S. foreign policy is good enough comedic material that they could have come up with something better...
- Clevinger, on 10/12/2007, -9/+11Actually, that was pretty funny.
- TonyCubed, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8Maybe they should teach kids how to count properly?
- duketime, on 10/12/2007, -11/+5Amusing.
But it's going to be mistaken for "edgy" and "avant-garde" when it's probably the most unoriginal thing to make fun of (or criticize) American foreign policy. What's next? A video demonstrating our President's apparent lack of intelligence?
I'm just as upset about the current administration as anybody else, but presenting completely recycled ideas in a grotesque format without providing any semblance of a solution is just pandering (and profiteering) and not contributing to the discussion.
(Plus, as if the MTv networks and all *they* represent are going to be better than America? We're talking about an American corporation here!) - Petrarch1603, on 10/12/2007, -14/+9marked inaccurate, cause it is
- JJMaxx, on 10/12/2007, -8/+10Not another Jib-Jab by any stretch of the imagination. Not very funny, a little confusing and grossly exaggerated.
- NapoleonGold, on 10/12/2007, -8/+11When has a cartoon been accurate.
In fact it worries me that people would want accurate cartoons.
It is pretty dam funny though.- Solarux, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Oh, I don't know...maybe they are getting it from the whole "Wonder Showzen accurately teaches kids..." title.
- kevinchai, on 10/12/2007, -12/+6It sucked
- cedrick, on 10/12/2007, -11/+6how did it suck?
- opethlike, on 10/12/2007, -13/+11Stupid. How is this funny? Mouth-breathing lowbrow garbage.
- ImTheDarkcyde, on 10/12/2007, -4/+17you expected better from a show that's on mtv?
- opethlike, on 10/12/2007, -6/+7Excellent point.
- ImTheDarkcyde, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2when will digg included a filtered RSS, im getting pretty dang sick of the video section, but i like the visual appeal of the digg google widget
- TheKingInYellow, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4i guess if you can't tell the difference between 30 seconds and 17 you can get a job at mtv.
- reject, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I believe the whole 3 Mexico's on China is a play on the Chinese policy of only having one child per family. Notice how two of the Mexico's are eaten through, while the third is left alone.
The little pigtail on the pink US is pretty funny, too.- Horseshoe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I think its the moving jobs thing... now the USA has 3x (actually alot more) little punks than mexico ever had, that work in sweat factories as soon as we pushed them chinese more and more into capitalism...
Go beavus and Buthead of education!
- Horseshoe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I think its the moving jobs thing... now the USA has 3x (actually alot more) little punks than mexico ever had, that work in sweat factories as soon as we pushed them chinese more and more into capitalism...
- MacBigot, on 10/12/2007, -14/+8Digg...where its popular to blame America.
- mikesherov, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4Wonder Showzen is quite possibly the best show ever on television. To use this trite clip to demonstrate that is a travesty. If you want to see a funny wonder showzen clip, look at this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWbXq6liOZs&search=%22beat%20kids%22
"but have you helped any rwandans lately?"
"what's rwandans?"

- TheKillDoctor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Or what is a hero?
- Lanser84, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3At least this junk isn't in the "political news" section like it too often is.
- dtfinch, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6That was ***** awesome!
- jellygraph, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Funny how so many as so quick to criticize this animation. But then again, I'm pretty sure that they aren't the ones at the wrong end of the stick!
- Xanadude, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6Wow - I guess bailing Mexico out of their financial crisis and providing public services to millions of their citizens constitutes pissing on them, even when they violate water agreements and make frequent military incursions across our border.
I guess building, supporting and defending the institutions that have enabled global trade and thus China's economic expansion - not to mention sending foreign aid and Peace Corps volunteers to China - somehow equates to dumping half-eaten Mexicos on China.
And apparently, spending billions to fight AIDS and other diseases in Africa, as well as standing up to Mugabe (while certain other countries embraced him to get mineral contracts) is analogous to screwing Africa.
Interesting use of symbolism, there.- uttles, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Whenever you're the best, everyone else is always jealous.
- flippinjeremy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Well put.
- praeburn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, that's not quite the political spin that the rest of the world hears.
You hear the nice things. Really.
- limppapa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Now this is a clip from Wonder Showzen.....
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZDE8WecEiQE - ChileanGoD, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Awwww *****, It took a bite ouf of Chile.
- Yage2006, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7its so totaly accurate its funny as hell.
- Jack9, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1"And by making the point that our education system is flawed doesn't mean that I'm "bashing" US."
Actually, implying that at it's best it's basically teaching idiocy is not only a criticism of the system, but of those who oversee it and the public at large who support it. In fact, you bash it succinctly. Try to understand the words you use or at least admit when you overstate a position. - Lotus79, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1More anti-American rhetoric. Seems like you always find something like this on digg.
- praeburn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There should be laws against that kinda talk. And burning some books, might help too.
- PSPon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I successfully elle-em-eh-owed at that video.
- RareSaturn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6how can a cartoon be "Reported by Diggers as Possibly Inaccurate" ?
- praeburn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Apparently its "Possibly Inaccurate" that the USA econmically and culturally rape the rest of the world.
I knda think it's too subjective to call.
- praeburn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Apparently its "Possibly Inaccurate" that the USA econmically and culturally rape the rest of the world.
- lebaige, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0That was beyond retarded,

- MyDigitalSin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2is this being marked as innaccurate b/c it's a ***** cartoon??
whoever took this seriously needs to watch more cartoons.
cartoons are good for the mind and good for the body. - porkstacker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's excellent!!!!
