It actually started as a guy's pet project called "Kids' Show" that he pitched to the USA network, as a mock-children's show for adults. The pilot was one of the funniest things I had ever seen when I first saw it at ebaum's (though, I'm sure they stole it from the original creator.)

      I've got it so damn good in this country that it hurts. I can say what I want, when I want, to who I want. I can make myself rich, very easily, if I want. I can join a church, any church I want, and practice worshiping ***** in a can as my God, if I so desire. My life, is good, and I'm not going to be dishonest about it and come on here and complain like a spoiled 13 year old brat over something so temporary as a one president I may not like. I don't care who the president is, this has been a great place to live for a long time, and it will be for a long time. This is a great place to live, a great place to have a family, and place of enormous opportunity.

      I'm not saying it's the best place in the world, or that we're better than everyone, I'm just saying I've got it good, and I'm not going to pretend like the rest of you that I hate it all. This is a great place, and most people who sit there and whine and ***** on it aren't leaving it to prove their contempt. That is disingenuous. It's very easy for Americans to become Canadians, and if the people on here who bitch and moan about it America day in and day out really hated it so much, it's hardly even an inconvenience to catch a bus to Canada and live somewhere else.

Any government is an actual *execution*, meaning something that's being used and exists in a usable form.     I'm just as upset about the current administration as anybody else, but presenting completely recycled ideas in a grotesque format without providing any semblance of a solution is just pandering (and profiteering) and not contributing to the discussion.

    I guess building, supporting and defending the institutions that have enabled global trade and thus China's economic expansion - not to mention sending foreign aid and Peace Corps volunteers to China - somehow equates to dumping half-eaten Mexicos on China.

    And apparently, spending billions to fight AIDS and other diseases in Africa, as well as standing up to Mugabe (while certain other countries embraced him to get mineral contracts) is analogous to screwing Africa.
