I have yet to take advantage of "shouts" or "friends", if there are indeed advantages to using them. Do people generally 'fan' you when they think you're funny or useful, or do people usually do it mainly just to see what other people are looking at?

Several of them appear to be fairly attractive women, which tells me one of two things. 1. Advertisers 2.Nerdy guys like to pretend to be females online.

It's practically the only way to get your stories dugg, to have hundreds of friends and shout to them all the time with your submissions.

            BTW, you don't have to add someone to see what they are looking at. Click their username, and you can see their user page, with comment/digg/shout history.

    Digg: Make all links go to a page like this first, then they need to click again to see the article. Or at least REMOVE the digg option on the main page so we quit getting articles that get dugg TONS of times and nobody has really even looked. Hell, I have seen so many youtube videos posted that have MORE diggs than views? How the ***** does that work? /end_rant

Most of the time you cant read the articles or view vids b/c of the digg effect. Because of the diggs, I now have a record of what caught my eye and I can come back latter when I'm bored and read.
