      • boombye, on 06/27/2008, -2/+1I'm kind of underweight, and I don't know many who are overweight, most of my friends work out everyday at the gym. I walk more in a 5 day span than you walk in a month.

        The problem with your stereotypes of Americans, is that they miss the mark, and it's the same one used over and over and over like a bad joke being told over and over and over. Most Americans that I know are of various different cultures, and plenty of them don't eat junk food. In my culture, our hobbies don't include Nascar, junk food (I haven't ate a bag of chips in so long I don't remember), or other redneck stereotypes. America is more than just redneck stereotypes, they're not the only group of people here. We have every race from Asia to Europe to Latin America living here. There's lot of Mexican and Polish people around my area, but also plenty of Whites, Asians, and Puerto Ricans, and lots of us preserve our cultures and don't engage in red neck stereotypical behavior.


        On the other hand, just smile in the mirror or ask a friend or notice your neighbor's smile. Dentistry truly wasn't a big deal there until recently within the last couple decades.

        As for the Bahsil thing, me thinks the dude watched too much Austin Powers. Austin Powers is portrayed by a Canadian who also thinks his movie mocking Indian culture is funny too. Blame Canada I say. I bet the guy who wrote that was Canadian. Bet of course, you guys always assume it's an American when you guys get made fun of.

Hats are awesome... true these are silly but its a big deal to these women. Let them be silly its a way for them to express themselves. I think the daisy hat is adorable and would look amazing in a ballet.
